[1]διάP τίςRI-ASN δέX κύριοςN2-ASM λανθάνωVBI-AAI3P ὥραN1A-NPF [1]Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
[2]ἀσεβήςA3H-NPM δέX ὅριονN2N-ASN ὑπερβαίνωVZI-AAI3P ποίμνιονN2-ASN σύνP ποιμήνN3-DSM ἁρπάζωVA-AAPNPM [2]Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
[3]ὑποζύγιονN2-ASN ὀρφανόςA1-GPM ἀποἄγωVBI-AAI3P καίC βοῦςN3-ASF χήραN1A-GSF ἐνεχυράζωVAI-AAI3P [3]They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.
[4]ἐκκλίνωVAI-AAI3P ἀδύνατοςA1B-APM ἐκP ὁδόςN2-GSF δίκαιοςA1A-GSF ὁμοθυμαδόνD κρύπτωVDI-API3P πραΰςA3U-NPM γῆN1-GSF [4]They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
[5]ἀποβαίνωVZI-AAI3P δέX ὥσπερD ὄνοςN2-NPM ἐνP ἀγρόςN2-DSM ὑπέρP ἐγώRP-GS ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAPNPMRA-ASF ἑαυτοῦRD-GPM πρᾶξιςN3I-ASF ἡδύνωVC-API3S αὐτόςRD-DSM ἄρτοςN2-NSM εἰςP νέοςA1A-APMC [5]Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
[6]ἀγρόςN2-ASM πρόP ὥραN1A-GSF οὐD αὐτόςRD-GPM εἰμίV9-PAPASM θερίζωVAI-AAI3P ἀδύνατοςA1B-NPM δέX ἀμπελώνN3W-APM ἀσεβήςA3H-GPM ἀμισθίD καίC ἀσιτίD ἐργάζομαιVAI-AMI3P [6]They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
[7]γυμνόςA1-APM πολύςA1-APM κοιμίζωVAI-AAI3P ἄνευP ἱμάτιονN2N-GPN ἀμφίασιςN3I-ASM δέX ψυχήN1-GSF αὐτόςRD-GPM ἀποαἱρέωVBI-AMI3P [7]They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
[8]ἀπόP ψεκάςN3D-GPF ὄροςN3E-GPN ὑγραίνωV1-PMI3P παράPRA-ASN μήD ἔχωV1-PAN αὐτόςRD-APM σκέπηN1-ASF πέτραN1A-ASF περιβάλλωVBI-AMI3P [8]They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
[9]ἁρπάζωVAI-AAI3P ὀρφανόςA1-ASM ἀπόP μαστόςN2-GSM ἐκπίπτωVX-XAPASM δέX ταπεινόωVAI-AAI3P [9]They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.
[10]γυμνόςA1-APM δέX κοιμίζωVAI-AAI3P ἀδίκωςD πεινάωV3-PAPGPM δέXRA-ASM ψωμόςN2-ASM ἀποαἱρέωVBI-AMI3P [10]They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
[11]ἐνP στενόςA1-DPM ἀδίκωςD ἐνεδρεύωVAI-AAI3P ὁδόςN2-ASF δέX δίκαιοςA1A-ASF οὐD οἶδαVXI-YAI3P [11]Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
[12]ὅςRR-NPM ἐκP πόλιςN3I-GSF καίC οἶκοςN2-GPM ἴδιοςA1A-GPM ἐκβάλλωV1I-IMI3P ψυχήN1-NSF δέX νήπιοςA1A-GPM στενάζωVAI-AAI3S μέγαςA1P-ASN αὐτόςRD-NSM δέX διάP τίςRI-ASN οὗτοςRD-GPM ἐπισκοπήN1-ASF οὐD ποιέωVM-XMI3S [12]Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.
[13]ἐπίP γῆN1-GSF εἰμίV9-PAPGPM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC οὐD ἐπιγιγνώσκωVZI-AAI3P ὁδόςN2-ASF δέX δικαιοσύνηN1-GSF οὐD οἶδαVXI-YAI3P οὐδέC ἀτραπόςN2-APF αὐτόςRD-GSF πορεύομαιVCI-API3P [13]They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
[14]γιγνώσκωVZ-AAPNSM δέX αὐτόςRD-GPMRA-APN ἔργονN2N-APN παραδίδωμιVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM εἰςP σκότοςN3E-ASN καίC νύξN3-GSF εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὡςC κλέπτηςN1M-NSM [14]The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
[15]καίC ὀφθαλμόςN2-NSM μοιχόςN2-GSM φυλάσσωVAI-AAI3S σκότοςN3E-ASN λέγωV1-PAPNSM οὐD προςνοέωVF-FAI3S ἐγώRP-AS ὀφθαλμόςN2-NSM καίC ἀποκρυβήN1-ASF πρόσωπονN2N-GSN τίθημιVEI-AMI3S [15]The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
[16]διαὀρύσσωVAI-AAI3S ἐνP σκότοςN3E-DSN οἰκίαN1A-APF ἡμέραN1A-GSF σφραγίζωVAI-AAI3P ἑαυτοῦRD-APM οὐD ἐπιγιγνώσκωVZI-AAI3P φῶςN3T-ASN [16]In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
[17]ὅτιC ὁμοθυμαδόνDRA-ASN πρωΐD αὐτόςRD-DPM σκιάN1A-NSF θάνατοςN2-GSM ὅτιC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI3S ταραχήN1-APF σκιάN1A-GSF θάνατοςN2-GSM [17]For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
[18]ἐλαφρόςA1A-NSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐπίP πρόσωπονN2N-ASN ὕδωρN3T-GSN καταἀράομαιVC-APO3SRA-NSF μερίςN3D-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐπίP γῆN1-GSF [18]He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
[19]ἀναφαίνωVD-APO3S δέXRA-NPN φυτόνN2N-NPN αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐπίP γῆN1-GSF ξηρόςA1A-APN ἀγκαλίςN3D-APF γάρX ὀρφανόςA1-GPM ἁρπάζωVAI-AAI3P [19]Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.
[20]εἶταD ἀναμιμνήσκωVSI-API3S αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-NSF ἁμαρτίαN1A-NSF ὥσπερD δέX ὁμίχληN1-NSF δρόσοςN2-GSF ἀφανήςA3H-NSM γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἀποδίδωμιVC-APO3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DSM ὅςRR-APN πράσσωVAI-AAI3S συντρίβωVD-APO3S δέX πᾶςA3-NSM ἄδικοςA1B-NSM ἴσοςD ξύλονN2N-DSN ἀνίατοςA1B-DSN [20]The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
[21]στεῖραN1A-ASF γάρX οὐD εὖD ποιέωVAI-AAI3S καίC γύναιονN2N-ASN οὐD ἐλεέωVAI-AAI3S [21]He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.
[22]θυμόςN2-DSM δέX καταστρέφωVAI-AAI3S ἀδύνατοςA1B-APM ἀναἵστημιVH-AAPNSM τοιγαροῦνC οὐD μήD πιστεύωVF-FMI2S κατάPRA-GSF ἑαυτοῦRD-GSM ζωήN1-GSF [22]He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
[23]μαλακίζομαιVS-APPNSM μήD ἐλπίζωV1-PAD3S ὑγιάζωVS-APN ἀλλάC πίπτωVF2-FMI3S νόσοςN2-DSF [23]Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.
[24]πολύςA1-APM γάρX κακόωVAI-AAI3SRA-NSN ὕψωμαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-GSM μαραίνωVCI-API3S δέX ὥσπερD μολόχηN1-NSF ἐνP καῦμαN3M-DSNC ὥσπερD στάχυςN3U-NSM ἀπόP καλάμηN1-GSF αὐτόματοςA1-NSM ἀποπίπτωVB-AAPNSM [24]They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
[25]εἰC δέX μήD τίςRI-NSM εἰμίV9-PAI3SRA-NSM φημίV6-PMPNSM ψευδήςA3H-APN ἐγώRP-AS λέγωV1-PAN καίC τίθημιVF-FAI3S εἰςP οὐδείςA3-ASNRA-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APN ἐγώRP-GS [25]And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
