[1]ויען בלדד השחי ויאמר [1]Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and sad,
[2]המשל ופחד עמו עשה שלום במרומיו [2]Power and fear is with him, that maketh peace in his high places.
[3]היש מספר לגדודיו ועל־מי לא־יקום אורהו [3]Is there any number in his armies? And upon whom shall not his light arise?
[4]ומה־יצדק אנוש עם־אל ומה־יזכה ילוד אשה [4]And how may a man be justified with God? Or how can he be clean, that is born of woman?
[5]הן עד־ירח ולא יאהיל וכוכבים לא־זכו בעיניו [5]Behold, he will give no light to the moon, and the stars are unclean in his sight.
[6]אף כי־אנוש רמה ובן־אדם תולעה [6]How much more man, a worm, even the son of man, which is but a worm?
