[1]וַיֹּ֥סֶף אֱלִיה֗וּא וַיֹּאמַֽר׃	[1]Elihu also proceeded and said,
[2]כַּתַּר־לִ֣י זְ֭עֵיר וַאֲחַוֶּ֑ךָּ כִּ֤י עֹ֖וד לֶאֱלֹ֣והַּ מִלִּֽים׃	[2]Suffer me a little, and I will instruct thee: for I have yet to speak on God's behalf.
[3]אֶשָּׂ֣א דֵ֭עִי לְמֵרָחֹ֑וק וּ֝לְפֹעֲלִ֗י אֶֽתֵּֽן־צֶֽדֶק׃	[3]I will fetch my knowledge afar off, and will attribute righteousness unto my maker.
[4]כִּֽי־אָ֭מְנָם לֹא־שֶׁ֣קֶר מִלָּ֑י תְּמִ֖ים דֵּעֹ֣ות עִמָּֽךְ׃	[4]For truly my words shall not be false, and he that is perfect in knowledge, speaketh with thee.
[5]הֶן־אֵ֣ל כַּ֭בִּיר וְלֹ֣א יִמְאָ֑ס כַּ֝בִּ֗יר כֹּ֣חַֽ לֵֽב׃	[5]Behold, the mighty God casteth away none that is mighty and valiant of courage.
[6]לֹא־יְחַיֶּ֥ה רָשָׁ֑ע וּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט עֲנִיִּ֣ים יִתֵּֽן׃	[6]He maintaineth not the wicked, but he giveth judgment to the afflicted.
[7]לֹֽא־יִגְרַ֥ע מִצַּדִּ֗יק עֵ֫ינָ֥יו וְאֶת־מְלָכִ֥ים לַכִּסֵּ֑א וַיֹּשִׁיבֵ֥ם לָ֝נֶ֗צַח וַיִּגְבָּֽהוּ׃	[7]He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous, but they are with kings in the throne, where he placeth them forever: thus they are exalted.
[8]וְאִם־אֲסוּרִ֥ים בַּזִּקִּ֑ים יִ֝לָּכְד֗וּן בְּחַבְלֵי־עֹֽנִי׃	[8]And if they be bound in fetters and tied with the cords of affliction,
[9]וַיַּגֵּ֣ד לָהֶ֣ם פָּעֳלָ֑ם וּ֝פִשְׁעֵיהֶ֗ם כִּ֣י יִתְגַּבָּֽרוּ׃	[9]Then will he show them their work and their sins, because they have been proud.
[10]וַיִּ֣גֶל אָ֭זְנָם לַמּוּסָ֑ר וַ֝יֹּ֗אמֶר כִּֽי־יְשֻׁב֥וּן מֵאָֽוֶן׃	[10]He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth them that they return from iniquity.
[11]אִֽם־יִשְׁמְע֗וּ וְֽיַ֫עֲבֹ֥דוּ יְכַלּ֣וּ יְמֵיהֶ֣ם בַּטֹּ֑וב וּ֝שְׁנֵיהֶ֗ם בַּנְּעִימִֽים׃	[11]If they obey and serve him, they shall end their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
[12]וְאִם־לֹ֣א יִ֭שְׁמְעוּ בְּשֶׁ֣לַח יַעֲבֹ֑רוּ וְ֝יִגְוְע֗וּ כִּבְלִי־דָֽעַת ׃	[12]But if they will not obey, they shall pass by the sword, and perish without knowledge.
[13]וְֽחַנְפֵי־לֵ֭ב יָשִׂ֣ימוּ אָ֑ף לֹ֥א יְ֝שַׁוְּע֗וּ כִּ֣י אֲסָרָֽם׃	[13]But the hypocrites of heart increase the wrath: for they call not when he bindeth them.
[14]תָּמֹ֣ת בַּנֹּ֣עַר נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְ֝חַיָּתָ֗ם בַּקְּדֵשִֽׁים׃	[14]Their soul dieth in youth, and their life among the whoremongers.
[15]יְחַלֵּ֣ץ עָנִ֣י בְעָנְיֹ֑ו וְיִ֖גֶל בַּלַּ֣חַץ אָזְנָֽם׃	[15]He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ear in trouble.
[16]וְאַ֤ף הֲסִיתְךָ֨ ׀ מִפִּי־צָ֗ר רַ֭חַב לֹא־מוּצָ֣ק תַּחְתֶּ֑יהָ וְנַ֥חַת לְחָנְךָ֗ מָ֣לֵא דָֽשֶׁן׃	[16]Even so would he have taken thee out of the straight place into a broad place and not shut up beneath: and that which resteth upon thy table, had been full of fat.
[17]וְדִין־רָשָׁ֥ע מָלֵ֑אתָ דִּ֖ין וּמִשְׁפָּ֣ט יִתְמֹֽכוּ׃	[17]But thou art full of the judgment of the wicked , though judgment and equity maintain all things.
[18]כִּֽי־חֵ֭מָה פֶּן־יְסִֽיתְךָ֣ בְסָ֑פֶק וְרָב־כֹּ֝֗פֶר אַל־יַטֶּֽךָּ׃	[18]For God's wrath is, lest he should take thee away in thine abundance: for no multitude of gifts can deliver thee.
[19]הֲיַעֲרֹ֣ךְ שׁ֖וּעֲךָ לֹ֣א בְצָ֑ר וְ֝כֹ֗ל מַאֲמַצֵּי־כֹֽחַ׃	[19]Will he regard thy riches? He regardeth not gold, nor all them that excel in strength.
[20]אַל־תִּשְׁאַ֥ף הַלָּ֑יְלָה לַעֲלֹ֖ות עַמִּ֣ים תַּחְתָּֽם׃	[20]Be not careful in the night, how he destroyeth the people out of their place.
[21]הִ֭שָּׁמֶר אַל־תֵּ֣פֶן אֶל־אָ֑וֶן כִּֽי־עַל־זֶ֝֗ה בָּחַ֥רְתָּ מֵעֹֽנִי׃	[21]Take thou heed: look not to iniquity: for thou hast chosen it rather than affliction.
[22]הֶן־אֵ֭ל יַשְׂגִּ֣יב בְּכֹחֹ֑ו מִ֖י כָמֹ֣הוּ מֹורֶֽה׃	[22]Behold, God exalteth by his power: what teacher is like him?
[23]מִֽי־פָקַ֣ד עָלָ֣יו דַּרְכֹּ֑ו וּמִֽי־אָ֝מַ֗ר פָּעַ֥לְתָּ עַוְלָֽה׃	[23]Who hath appointed to him his way? Or who can say, Thou hast done wickedly?
[24]זְ֭כֹר כִּֽי־תַשְׂגִּ֣יא פָעֳלֹ֑ו אֲשֶׁ֖ר שֹׁרְר֣וּ אֲנָשִֽׁים׃	[24]Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
[25]כָּל־אָדָ֥ם חָֽזוּ־בֹ֑ו אֱ֝נֹ֗ושׁ יַבִּ֥יט מֵרָחֹֽוק׃	[25]All men see it, and men behold it afar off.
[26]הֶן־אֵ֣ל גִּיא וְלֹ֣א נֵדָ֑ע מִסְפַּ֖ר שָׁנָ֣יו וְלֹא־חֵֽקֶר׃	[26]Behold, God is excellent, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
[27]כִּ֭י יְגָרַ֣ע נִטְפֵי־מָ֑יִם יָזֹ֖קּוּ מָטָ֣ר לְאֵדֹֽו׃	[27]When he restraineth the drops of water, the rain poureth down by the vapor thereof,
[28]אֲשֶֽׁר־יִזְּל֥וּ שְׁחָקִ֑ים יִ֝רְעֲפ֗וּ עֲלֵ֤י ׀ אָדָ֬ם רָֽב׃	[28]Which rain the clouds do drop and let fall abundantly upon man.
[29]אַ֣ף אִם־יָ֭בִין מִפְרְשֵׂי־עָ֑ב תְּ֝שֻׁאֹ֗ות סֻכָּתֹֽו׃	[29]Who can know the divisions of the clouds and the thunders of his tabernacle?
[30]הֵן־פָּרַ֣שׂ עָלָ֣יו אֹורֹ֑ו וְשָׁרְשֵׁ֖י הַיָּ֣ם כִּסָּֽה׃	[30]Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
[31]כִּי־בָ֭ם יָדִ֣ין עַמִּ֑ים יִֽתֶּן־אֹ֥כֶל לְמַכְבִּֽיר׃	[31]For thereby he judgeth the people, and giveth meat abundantly.
[32]עַל־כַּפַּ֥יִם כִּסָּה־אֹ֑ור וַיְצַ֖ו עָלֶ֣יהָ בְמַפְגִּֽיעַ׃	[32]He covereth the light with the clouds, and commandeth them to go against it.
[33]יַגִּ֣יד עָלָ֣יו רֵעֹ֑ו מִ֝קְנֶ֗ה אַ֣ף עַל־עֹולֶֽה׃	[33]His companion showeth him thereof, and there is anger in rising up.
