[1]I I The Vine True and My Father is The Vine Dresser [1]Ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ἄμπελος ἡ ἀληθινή, καὶ ὁ πατήρ μου ὁ γεωργός ἐστι.
[2]Every branch in me fruit not yielding He takes away it and that which yields fruit He purges it that fruit much it shall bring forth [2]πᾶν κλῆμα ἐν ἐμοὶ μὴ φέρον καρπόν, αἴρει αὐτό, καὶ πᾶν τὸ καρπὸν φέρον, καθαίρει αὐτό, ἵνα πλείονα καρπὸν φέρῃ.
[3]You from now purged are because of the word that I have spoken with you [3]ἤδη ὑμεῖς καθαροί ἐστε διὰ τὸν λόγον ὃν λελάληκα ὑμῖν.
[4]Remain in me and I in you just as the branch not can yield fruit from itself unless it remains in the vine thus ? neither do you unless you abide in Me [4]μείνατε ἐν ἐμοί, κἀγὼ ἐν ὑμῖν.
[5]I I The Vine and you are the branches whoever remains in Me and I in him this one brings forth fruit much because without Me not are able you to do anything [5]ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ἄμπελος, ὑμεῖς τὰ κλήματα.
[6]Unless but a man abides in Me he is thrown away outside like a branch shriveled up and they gather throwing it into the fire to burn [6]ἐὰν μή τις μείνῃ ἐν ἐμοί, ἐβλήθη ἔξω ὡς τὸ κλῆμα καὶ ἐξηράνθη, καὶ συνάγουσιν αὐτὰ καὶ εἰς τὸ πῦρ βάλλουσι, καὶ καίεται.
[7]If but you will abide in me and My words will abide in you everything whatever you desire to ask shall be done for you [7]ἐὰν μείνητε ἐν ἐμοὶ καὶ τὰ ῥήματά μου ἐν ὑμῖν μείνῃ, ὃ ἐὰν θέλητε αἰτήσασθε, καὶ γενήσεται ὑμῖν.
[8]In this is glorified The Father that fruit much you will bring forth and you will be My disciples [8]ἐν τούτῳ ἐδοξάσθη ὁ πατήρ μου, ἵνα καρπὸν πολὺν φέρητε, καὶ γενήσεσθε ἐμοὶ μαθηταί.
[9]Just as has loved Me My Father even I have loved you continue in My friendship mine
[10]If My commandments you keep you will remain in love My just as that I have kept commandments My Father's and abide I in His love [10]ἐὰν τὰς ἐντολάς μου τηρήσητε, μενεῖτε ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ μου, καθὼς ἐγὼ τὰς ἐντολὰς τοῦ πατρός μου τετήρηκα καὶ μένω αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ.
[11]These things I have spoken with you that My joy may be in you and may be perfect your joy
[12]This is My commandment that you love one another just as I have loved you [12]αὕτη ἐστὶν ἡ ἐντολὴ ἡ ἐμή, ἵνα ἀγαπᾶτε ἀλλήλους καθὼς ἠγάπησα ὑμᾶς.
[13]Love greater than this there is not that a person his life will lay down for the sake of his friends
[14]You My friends are if you will do all that command I you [14]ὑμεῖς φίλοι μού ἐστε, ἐὰν ποιῆτε ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν.
[15]Not after this call I you servants because a servant not knows what does his master My friends but I have called you because all that I have heard from My Father I have taught you
[16]Not have you chosen Me but I do choose you and appoint you so that also you will go bring forth fruit and your fruit will remain that all you will ask My Father in My Name He will give to you [16]οὐχ ὑμεῖς με ἐξελέξασθε, ἀλλ᾽ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔθηκα ὑμᾶς ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑπάγητε καὶ καρπὸν φέρητε, καὶ ὁ καρπὸς ὑμῶν μένῃ, ἵνα ὅ,τι ἂν αἰτήσητε τὸν πατέρα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου, δῷ ὑμῖν.
[17]These things command I you that you will love one another [17]ταῦτα ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν, ἵνα ἀγαπᾶτε ἀλλήλους.
[18]And if the world hates you know that before you Me it hated [18]Εἰ ὁ κόσμος ὑμᾶς μισεῖ, γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐμὲ πρῶτον ὑμῶν μεμίσηκεν.
[19]And if from the world you had been the world its own loved would have but not you were from the world I for have chosen you from the world because of this hates you the world [19]εἰ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου ἦτε, ὁ κόσμος ἂν τὸ ἴδιον ἐφίλει· ὅτι δὲ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου οὐκ ἐστέ, ἀλλ᾽ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου, διὰ τοῦτο μισεῖ ὑμᾶς ὁ κόσμος.
[20]Remember the word that I have spoken to you that there is not a servant who is greater than his master if Me they have persecuted also you they will persecute and if My word they have kept also yours they will keep
[21]But these things all they will do among you because of My Name My because not they know Him Who has sent Me [21]ἀλλὰ ταῦτα πάντα ποιήσουσιν ὑμῖν διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου, ὅτι οὐκ οἴδασι τὸν πέμψαντά με.
[22]If I not had come speaking with them not there would have been to them sin now but there is not to them a reason ? for the sake of their sin [22]εἰ μὴ ἦλθον καὶ ἐλάλησα αὐτοῖς, ἁμαρτίαν οὐκ εἶχον· νῦν δὲ πρόφασιν οὐκ ἔχουσι περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν.
[23]Whoever Me hates also My Father hates [23]ὁ ἐμὲ μισῶν καὶ τὸν πατέρα μου μισεῖ.
[24]And if the works not I had done in their sight which a man another not has done not there would have been to them sin [24]εἰ τὰ ἔργα μὴ ἐποίησα ἐν αὐτοῖς ἃ οὐδεὶς ἄλλος πεποίηκεν, ἁμαρτίαν οὐκ εἶχον· νῦν δὲ καὶ ἑωράκασι καὶ μεμισήκασι καὶ ἐμὲ καὶ τὸν πατέρα μου.
[25]That may be fulfilled the word that is written in their law they hated Me for nothing now but they have seen and hated also Me and even My Father
[26]When but comes The Redeemer of the accursed He Whom I shall send I to you from the Presence of My Father The Spirit of The Truth He it is Who from the Presence of My Father proceeds He shall testify concerning Me
[27]Also you testifying are who from the beginning with Me are [27]καὶ ὑμεῖς δὲ μαρτυρεῖτε, ὅτι ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἐστε.
