| [1]בחד בשׁבא דינ אתת מרימ מגדליתא בצפרא עד חשׁוכ לבית קבורא וחזת לכאפא דשׁקילא מנ קברא |
[1]Now the first day of the week came Mary Magdalene, early when it was yet dark, unto the sepulcher, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb. |
| [2]ורהטת אתת לות שׁמעונ כאפא ולות הו תלמידא אחרנא דרחמ הוא ישׁוע ואמרא להונ דשׁקלוהי למרנ מנ הו בית קבורא ולא ידעא אנא איכא סמוהי |
[2]Then she ran, and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulcher, and we know not where they have laid him. |
| [3]ונפק שׁמעונ והו תלמידא אחרנא ואתינ הוו לבית קבורא |
[3]Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they came unto the sepulcher. |
| [4]ורהטינ הוו תריהונ אכחדא הו דינ תלמידא רהט קדמה לשׁמעונ ואתא קדמיא לבית קבורא |
[4]So they ran both together, but the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulcher. |
| [5]ואדיק חזא כתנא כד סימינ מעל דינ לא על |
[5]And he stooped down, and saw the linen clothes lying: yet went he not in. |
| [6]אתא דינ שׁמעונ בתרה ועל לבית קבורא וחזא כתנא כד סימינ |
[6]Then came Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulcher, and saw the linen clothes lie, |
| [7]וסודרא הו דחזיק הוא ברשׁה לא עמ כתנא אלא כד כריכ וסימ לסטר בחדא דוכא |
[7]And the kerchief that was upon his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. |
| [8]הידינ על אפ הו תלמידא דאתא קדמיא לבית קבורא וחזא והימנ |
[8]Then went in also the other disciple, which came first to the sepulcher, and he saw it, and believed. |
| [9]לא גיר עדכיל ידעינ הוו מנ כתבא דעתיד הוא למקמ מנ מיתא |
[9]For as yet they knew not the Scripture, That he must rise again from the dead. |
| [10]ואזלו הנונ תלמידא תוב לדוכתהונ |
[10]And the disciples went away again unto their own home. |
| [11]מרימ דינ קימא הות לות קברא ובכיא וכד בכיא אדיקת בקברא |
[11]But Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she bowed herself into the s epulcher, |
| [12]וחזת תרינ מלאכא בחורא דיתבינ חד מנ אסדוהי וחד מנ רגלוהי איכא דסימ הוא פגרה דישׁוע |
[12]And saw two Angels in white, sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. |
| [13]ואמרינ לה אנתתא מנא בכיא אנתי אמרא להונ דשׁקלוהי למרי ולא ידעא אנא איכא סמוהי |
[13]And they said unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She said unto them, They have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. |
| [14]הדא אמרת ואתפנית לבסתרה וחזת לישׁוע דקאמ ולא ידעא הות דישׁוע הו |
[14]When she had thus said, she turned herself back and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. |
| [15]אמר לה ישׁוע אנתתא מנא בכיא אנתי ולמנ בעיא אנתי הי דינ סברת דגננא הו ואמרא לה מרי אנ אנת שׁקלתיהי אמר לי איכא סמתיהי אזל אשׁקליוהי |
[15]Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She supposing that he had been the gardener, said unto him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. |
| [16]אמר לה ישׁוע מרימ ואתפנית ואמרא לה עבראית רבולי דמתאמר מלפנא |
[16]Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and said unto him, Rabboni, which is to say, Master. |
| [17]אמר לה ישׁוע לא תתקרבינ לי לא גיר עדכיל סלקת לות אבי זלי דינ לות אחי ואמרי להונ סלק אנא לות אבי ואבוכונ ואלהי ואלהכונ |
[17]Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not: for I am not yet ascended to my Father, but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and to your Father, and to my God, and your God. |
| [18]הידינ אתת מרימ מגדליתא וסברת לתלמידא דחזת למרנ ודהלינ אמר לה |
[18]Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her. |
| [19]כד הוא דינ רמשׁא דיומא הו דחד בשׁבא ותרעא אחידינ הוו דאיכא דאיתיהונ הוו תלמידא מטל דחלתא דיהודיא אתא ישׁוע קמ בינתהונ ואמר להונ שׁלמא עמכונ |
[19]The same day then at night, which was the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and said to them, Peace be unto you. |
| [20]הדא אמר וחוי אנונ אידוהי וסטרה וחדיו תלמידא דחזו למרנ |
[20]And when he had so said, he showed unto them his hands, and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they had seen the Lord. |
| [21]אמר להונ דינ תוב ישׁוע שׁלמא עמכונ איכנא דשׁדרני אבי אפ אנא משׁדר אנא לכונ |
[21]Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father sent me, so send I you. |
| [22]וכד אמר הלינ נפח בהונ ואמר להונ קבלו רוחא דקודשׁא |
[22]And when he had said that, he breathed on them, and said unto them, Receive the Holy Ghost. |
| [23]אנ תשׁבקונ חטהא לאנשׁ נשׁתבקונ לה ואנ תאחדונ דאנשׁ אחידינ |
[23]Whosoevers sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them: and whosoevers sins ye retain, they are retained. |
| [24]תאומא דינ חד מנ תרעסרתא הו דמתאמר תאמא לא הוא תמנ הוא עמהונ כד אתא ישׁוע |
[24]But Thomas one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. |
| [25]ואמרינ לה תלמידא חזינ למרנ הו דינ אמר להונ אנ לא חזא אנא באידוהי דוכיתא דצצא ורמא אנא בהינ צבעתי ומושׁט אנא אידי בדפנה לא מהימנ אנא |
[25]The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord: but he said unto them, Except I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put mine hand into his side, I will not believe it. |
| [26]ובתר תמניא יומינ תוב לגו הוו תלמידא ותאומא עמהונ ואתא ישׁוע כד אחידינ תרעא קמ במצעתא ואמר להונ שׁלמא עמכונ |
[26]And eight days after, again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Then came Jesus, when the doors were shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. |
| [27]ואמר לתאומא איתא צבעכ להרכא וחזי אידי ואיתא אידכ ואושׁט בגבי ולא תהוא לא מהימנא אלא מהימנא |
[27]After said he to Thomas, Put thy finger here, and see mine hands, and put forth thine hand, and put it into my side, and be not faithless, but faithful. |
| [28]וענא תאומא ואמר לה מרי ואלהי |
[28]Then Thomas answered, and said unto him, Thou art my Lord, and my God. |
| [29]אמר לה ישׁוע השׁא דחזיתני והימנת טוביהונ לאילינ דלא חזאוני והימנו |
[29]Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou believest: blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed. |
| [30]סגיאתא דינ אתותא אחרניתא עבד ישׁוע קדמ תלמידוהי אילינ דלא כתיבנ בכתבא הנא |
[30]And many other signs also did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. |
| [31]אפ הלינ דינ דכתיבנ דתהימנונ דישׁוע הו משׁיחא ברה דאלהא ומא דהימנתונ נהוונ לכונ בשׁמה חיא דלעלמ |
[31]But these things are written, that ye might believe, that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that in believing ye might have life through his Name. |
