| [1]Knew but Ieshu that heard Pharisees that disciples many He made and was baptizing more than John |
[1] Ὡς οὖν ἔγνω ὁ Κύριος ὅτι ἤκουσαν οἱ Φαρισαῖοι ὅτι ᾿Ιησοῦς πλείονας μαθητὰς ποιεῖ καὶ βαπτίζει ἢ ᾿Ιωάννης – |
| [2]When not it was Himself Ieshu baptizing was but His disciples were |
[2]καίτοιγε ᾿Ιησοῦς αὐτὸς οὐκ ἐβάπτιζεν, ἀλλ᾽ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ – |
| [3]And He left Judea and went on Himself again to Galilee |
[3]ἀφῆκε τὴν ᾿Ιουδαίαν καὶ ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν. |
| [4]Necessary it was for him but that He should come pass beyond beyond the house of the Samaritans |
[4]῎Εδει δὲ αὐτὸν διέρχεσθαι διὰ τῆς Σαμαρείας. |
| [5]And He came to a city Samaritan that is called Shikar on the side of the village that given had Jacob to Joseph his son |
[5]ἔρχεται οὖν εἰς πόλιν τῆς Σαμαρείας λεγομένην Συχάρ, πλησίον τοῦ χωρίου ὃ ἔδωκεν ᾿Ιακὼβ ᾿Ιωσὴφ τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ· |
| [6]And was there there a spring of water of Jacob it is but Ieshu weary was from the labor of the road and sitting down he was Himself at the spring and it was the sixth hour |
[6]ἦν δὲ ἐκεῖ πηγὴ τοῦ ᾿Ιακώβ. ὁ οὖν ᾿Ιησοῦς κεκοπιακὼς ἐκ τῆς ὁδοιπορίας ἐκαθέζετο οὕτως ἐπὶ τῇ πηγῇ· ὥρα ἦν ὡσεὶ ἕκτη. |
| [7]And came a woman from Samaria to fill up with water and said to her Ieshu give me water to drink |
[7]ἔρχεται γυνὴ ἐκ τῆς Σαμαρείας ἀντλῆσαι ὕδωρ. λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· δός μοι πιεῖν. |
| [8]His disciples for they entered they the city that they could buy for themselves provisions |
[8]οἱ γὰρ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπεληλύθεισαν εἰς τὴν πόλιν ἵνα τροφὰς ἀγοράσωσι. |
| [9]She said to Him that the woman Samaritan How is it? you a Jew are also of me should ask you to drink of one who is a woman Samaritan not for do associate The Jews with The Samaritans |
[9]λέγει οὖν αὐτῷ ἡ γυνὴ ἡ Σαμαρεῖτις· πῶς σὺ ᾿Ιουδαῖος ὢν παρ᾽ ἐμοῦ πιεῖν αἰτεῖς, οὔσης γυναικὸς Σαμαρείτιδος; οὐ γὰρ συγχρῶνται ᾿Ιουδαῖοι Σαμαρείταις. |
| [10]Answered Ieshu and said to her If only you knew what is the gift of Alaha and Who is This One Who says to you Give Me to drink you would have asked for what is His and would have given He you waters living |
[10]ἀπεκρίθη ᾿Ιησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ· εἰ ᾔδεις τὴν δωρεὰν τοῦ Θεοῦ, καὶ τίς ἐστιν ὁ λέγων σοι, δός μοι πιεῖν, σὺ ἂν ᾔτησας αὐτόν, καὶ ἔδωκεν ἄν σοι ὕδωρ ζῶν. |
| [11]Said to him woman this my Lord no bucket is there for you and the well is deep from where? are for you waters living |
[11]λέγει αὐτῷ ἡ γυνή· Κύριε, οὔτε ἄντλημα ἔχεις, καὶ τὸ φρέαρ ἐστὶ βαθύ· πόθεν οὖν ἔχεις τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ζῶν; |
| [12]Are? greater you than our Father Jacob he who gave to us well this and he from it he drank and his children and his flock |
[12]μὴ σὺ μείζων εἶ τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν ᾿Ιακώβ, ὃς ἔδωκεν ἡμῖν τὸ φρέαρ, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔπιε καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ θρέμματα αὐτοῦ; |
| [13]Answered Ieshu and said to her everyone who shall drink from these waters again shall thirst |
[13]ἀπεκρίθη ᾿Ιησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ· πᾶς ὁ πίνων ἐκ τοῦ ὕδατος τούτου διψήσει πάλιν· |
| [14]Everyone but who shall drink from the waters that I I will give to him not shall thirst forever but the waters those that give I to him shall be in him springs of water that spring up to life eternal |
[14]ὃς δ᾽ ἂν πίῃ ἐκ τοῦ ὕδατος οὗ ἐγὼ δώσω αὐτῷ, οὐ μὴ διψήσῃ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, ἀλλὰ τὸ ὕδωρ ὃ δώσω αὐτῷ, γενήσεται ἐν αὐτῷ πηγὴ ὕδατος ἁλλομένου εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον. |
| [15]Said to him woman this my Lord give me from these waters that not again I shall thirst and not I am coming drawing from here |
[15]λέγει πρὸς αὐτὸν ἡ γυνή· Κύριε, δός μοι τοῦτο τὸ ὕδωρ, ἵνα μὴ διψῶ μηδὲ ἔρχωμαι ἐνθάδε ἀντλεῖν. |
| [16]Said to her Ieshu Go call your husband and come here |
[16]λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· ὕπαγε φώνησον τὸν ἄνδρα σου καὶ ἐλθὲ ἐνθάδε. |
| [17]She said to him ? there is not to me a husband said to her Ieshu correctly you have said ? there is not to me a husband |
[17]ἀπεκρίθη ἡ γυνὴ καὶ εἶπεν· οὐκ ἔχω ἄνδρα. λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· καλῶς εἶπας ὅτι ἄνδρα οὐκ ἔχω· |
| [18]Five for husbands there were to you and this one that is with you now not is your husband this truly you have said |
[18]πέντε γὰρ ἄνδρας ἔσχες, καὶ νῦν ὃν ἔχεις οὐκ ἔστι σου ἀνήρ· τοῦτο ἀληθὲς εἴρηκας. |
| [19]She said to Him this woman my Lord I perceive I that a prophet you are |
[19]λέγει αὐτῷ ἡ γυνή· Κύριε, θεωρῶ ὅτι προφήτης εἶ σύ. |
| [20]Our fathers in this mountain worshipped and you saying are that in Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary to worship |
[20]οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν ἐν τῷ ὄρει τούτῳ προσεκύνησαν· καὶ ὑμεῖς λέγετε ὅτι ἐν ῾Ιεροσολύμοις ἐστὶν ὁ τόπος ὅπου δεῖ προσκυνεῖν. |
| [21]Said to her Ieshu woman Believe me that is coming the hour that not in this mountain ? neither in Jerusalem will you worship The Father |
[21]λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· γύναι, πίστευσόν μοι ὅτι ἔρχεται ὥρα ὅτε οὔτε ἐν τῷ ὄρει τούτῳ οὔτε ἐν ῾Ιεροσολύμοις προσκυνήσετε τῷ πατρί. |
| [22]You worshiping are the thing that not know you we but worshiping are that which know we He Who is The Life from The Jews is |
[22]ὑμεῖς προσκυνεῖτε ὃ οὐκ οἴδατε, ἡμεῖς προσκυνοῦμεν ὃ οἴδαμεν· ὅτι ἡ σωτηρία ἐκ τῶν ᾿Ιουδαίων ἐστίν. |
| [23]But is coming the hour and now is when the worshippers true shall worship The Father in The Spirit and in The Truth also The Father for such as these are worshippers is seeking |
[23]ἀλλ᾽ ἔρχεται ὥρα, καὶ νῦν ἐστιν, ὅτε οἱ ἀληθινοὶ προσκυνηταὶ προσκυνήσουσι τῷ πατρὶ ἐν πνεύματι καὶ ἀληθείᾳ· καὶ γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ τοιούτους ζητεῖ τοὺς προσκυνοῦντας αὐτόν. |
| [24]The Spirit is for Alaha and those who worship Him in The Spirit and in The Truth it is fitting worship |
[24]πνεῦμα ὁ Θεός, καὶ τοὺς προσκυνοῦντας αὐτὸν ἐν πνεύματι καὶ ἀληθείᾳ δεῖ προσκυνεῖν. |
| [25]Said to him woman this know I that The Messiah is coming and when He comes He will teach us all things |
[25]λέγει αὐτῷ ἡ γυνή· οἶδα ὅτι Μεσσίας ἔρχεται ὁ λεγόμενος Χριστός· ὅταν ἔλθῃ ἐκεῖνος, ἀναγγελεῖ ἡμῖν πάντα. |
| [26]Said to her Ieshu I am Who am speaking I with you |
[26]λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ λαλῶν σοι. |
| [27]And when He was speaking came His disciples and amazed they were that with the woman He was speaking not but a man said what? are seeking you or why? are speaking you with her |
[27]καὶ ἐπὶ τούτῳ ἦλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐθαύμασαν ὅτι μετὰ γυναικὸς ἐλάλει· οὐδεὶς μέντοι εἶπε, τί ζητεῖς ἢ τί λαλεῖς μετ᾽ αὐτῆς; |
| [28]And she left her cruse the woman and she went to the city and she said to the men |
[28]᾿Αφῆκεν οὖν τὴν ὑδρίαν αὐτῆς ἡ γυνὴ καὶ ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὴν πόλιν, καὶ λέγει τοῖς ἀνθρώποις· |
| [29]Come see a man who told me every thing that I have done Is he? The Messiah |
[29]δεῦτε ἴδετε ἄνθρωπον ὃς εἶπέ μοι πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησα· μήτι οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Χριστός; |
| [30]And departed the men from the city and came they to Him |
[30]ἐξῆλθον οὖν ἐκ τῆς πόλεως καὶ ἤρχοντο πρὸς αὐτόν. |
| [31]And in the midst of these things were begging they of him His disciples and they were saying to him our Master Eat |
[31]᾿Εν δὲ τῷ μεταξὺ ἠρώτων αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ λέγοντες· ῥαββί, φάγε. |
| [32]He but said to them there is for me food to eat which you not knowing are |
[32]ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ἐγὼ βρῶσιν ἔχω φαγεῖν, ἣν ὑμεῖς οὐκ οἴδατε. |
| [33]Were saying the disciples among themselves did someone bring him? something to eat |
[33]ἔλεγον οὖν οἱ μαθηταὶ πρὸς ἀλλήλους· μή τις ἤνεγκεν αὐτῷ φαγεῖν; |
| [34]Said to them Ieshu My food belonging to Me is that I do the will of Him Who has sent Me and I shall finish his work |
[34]λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· ἐμὸν βρῶμά ἐστιν ἵνα ποιῶ τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πέμψαντός με καὶ τελειώσω αὐτοῦ τὸ ἔργον. |
| [35]Not? do you say after four months comes the harvest Behold say I to you lift up your eyes and behold the fields that are white and are ready to harvest even now |
[35]οὐχ ὑμεῖς λέγετε ὅτι ἔτι τετράμηνός ἐστι καὶ ὁ θερισμὸς ἔρχεται; ἰδοὺ λέγω ὑμῖν, ἐπάρατε τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ θεάσασθε τὰς χώρας, ὅτι λευκαί εἰσι πρὸς θερισμὸν ἤδη. |
| [36]And whoever reaps wages receives and he gathers fruit for life eternal and the sower and the reaper together shall rejoice |
[36]καὶ ὁ θερίζων μισθὸν λαμβάνει καὶ συνάγει καρπὸν εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον, ἵνα καὶ ὁ σπείρων ὁμοῦ χαίρῃ καὶ ὁ θερίζων. |
| [37]In this for is a word of Truth that one is sowing and another reaps |
[37]ἐν γὰρ τούτῳ ὁ λόγος ἐστὶν ὁ ἀληθινός, ὅτι ἄλλος ἐστὶν ὁ σπείρων καὶ ἄλλος ὁ θερίζων. |
| [38]I sent you to harvest something that not were you laboring in it another for labored and you have entered upon labors their |
[38]ἐγὼ ἀπέστειλα ὑμᾶς θερίζειν ὃ οὐχ ὑμεῖς κεκοπιάκατε· ἄλλοι κεκοπιάκασι, καὶ ὑμεῖς εἰς τὸν κόπον αὐτῶν εἰσεληλύθατε. |
| [39]From that city but many believed in him Samaritans because of the saying of the woman that which she testified He told me everything that I have done |
[39]᾿Εκ δὲ τῆς πόλεως ἐκείνης πολλοὶ ἐπίστευσαν εἰς αὐτὸν τῶν Σαμαρειτῶν διὰ τὸν λόγον τῆς γυναικός, μαρτυρούσης ὅτι εἶπέ μοι πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησα. |
| [40]And when they came to him those Samaritans they requested from him that He would stay with them and he was with them two days |
[40]ὡς οὖν ἦλθον πρὸς αὐτὸν οἱ Σαμαρεῖται, ἠρώτων αὐτὸν μεῖναι παρ᾽ αὐτοῖς· καὶ ἔμεινεν ἐκεῖ δύο ἡμέρας. |
| [41]And many believed in Him because of His word |
[41]καὶ πολλῷ πλείους ἐπίστευσαν διὰ τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ, |
| [42]And saying they were to the woman that that now not it is because of your word believing are in him we for we have heard and we know that This One is truly The Messiah The Lifegiver of the world |
[42]τῇ τε γυναικὶ ἔλεγον ὅτι οὐκέτι διὰ τὴν σὴν λαλιὰν πιστεύομεν· αὐτοὶ γὰρ ἀκηκόαμεν, καὶ οἴδαμεν ὅτι οὗτός ἐστιν ἀληθῶς ὁ σωτὴρ τοῦ κόσμου ὁ Χριστός. |
| [43]And after two days went out Ieshu from there and went on to Galilee |
[43]Μετὰ δὲ τὰς δύο ἡμέρας ἐξῆλθεν ἐκεῖθεν καὶ ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν. |
| [44]Had been for Ieshu testifying that a prophet in his city not is honored |
[44]αὐτὸς γὰρ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς ἐμαρτύρησεν ὅτι προφήτης ἐν τῇ ἰδίᾳ πατρίδι τιμὴν οὐκ ἔχει. |
| [45]When but He came to Galilee received Him The Galilaeans because they saw the signs all that He did in Jerusalem were at the feast they had gone for also they to the feast |
[45]ὅτε οὖν ἦλθεν εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν, ἐδέξαντο αὐτὸν οἱ Γαλιλαῖοι, πάντα ἑωρακότες ἃ ἐποίησεν ἐν ῾Ιεροσολύμοις ἐν τῇ ἑορτῇ· καὶ αὐτοὶ γὰρ ἦλθον εἰς τὴν ἑορτήν. |
| [46]Came but again Ieshu to Qatna of Galilee where He made the water wine and staying there was in Capernakhum a servant of a king a certain whose son ill was |
[46]῏Ηλθεν οὖν πάλιν ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς εἰς τὴν Κανᾶ τῆς Γαλιλαίας, ὅπου ἐποίησε τὸ ὕδωρ οἶνον. καὶ ἦν τις βασιλικός, οὗ ὁ υἱὸς ἠσθένει ἐν Καπερναούμ· |
| [47]This one heard that came Ieshu from Judea to Galilee and he went on to him and imploring was him that he would come down and heal his son coming close he was for to dying |
[47]οὗτος ἀκούσας ὅτι ᾿Ιησοῦς ἥκει ἐκ τῆς ᾿Ιουδαίας εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν, ἀπῆλθε πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ ἠρώτα αὐτὸν ἵνα καταβῇ καὶ ἰάσηται αὐτοῦ τὸν υἱόν· ἤμελλε γὰρ ἀποθνήσκειν. |
| [48]Said to him Ieshu if signs and wonders not you will see not you will believe |
[48]εἶπεν οὖν ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς πρὸς αὐτόν· ἐὰν μὴ σημεῖα καὶ τέρατα ἴδητε, οὐ μὴ πιστεύσητε. |
| [49]Said to him that servant of the king my Lord come down or else dies the boy |
[49]λέγει πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ βασιλικός· Κύριε, κατάβηθι πρὶν ἀποθανεῖν τὸ παιδίον μου. |
| [50]Said to him Ieshu Go your son living is and believed himself the man in the word that said to him Ieshu and he went on |
[50]λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· πορεύου· ὁ υἱός σου ζῇ. καὶ ἐπίστευσεν ὁ ἄνθρωπος τῷ λόγῳ ᾧ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς, καὶ ἐπορεύετο. |
| [51]When but was going down he was met him his servants and they announced good news to him and they were saying to him your son is saved |
[51]ἤδη δὲ αὐτοῦ καταβαίνοντος οἱ δοῦλοι αὐτοῦ ἀπήντησαν αὐτῷ καὶ ἀπήγγειλαν λέγοντες ὅτι ὁ παῖς σου ζῇ. |
| [52]And he asked them in which time he was cured they were saying to him yesterday in the seventh hour left him the fever |
[52]ἐπύθετο οὖν παρ᾽ αὐτῶν τὴν ὥραν ἐν ᾗ κομψότερον ἔσχε. καὶ εἶπον αὐτῷ ὅτι χθὲς ὥραν ἑβδόμην ἀφῆκεν αὐτὸν ὁ πυρετός. |
| [53]And knew his father that in this hour that in it said to him Ieshu your son is saved and believed he and his household all |
[53]ἔγνω οὖν ὁ πατὴρ ὅτι ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ὥρᾳ ἐν ᾗ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς ὅτι ὁ υἱός σου ζῇ· καὶ ἐπίστευσεν αὐτὸς καὶ ἡ οἰκία αὐτοῦ ὅλη. |
| [54]This is again the sign second did Ieshu when He came from Judea to Galilee |
[54]Τοῦτο πάλιν δεύτερον σημεῖον ἐποίησεν ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς ἐλθὼν ἐκ τῆς ᾿Ιουδαίας εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν. |
