[1]Now when Joshua was old, and stricken in years, the Lord said unto him, Thou art old and grown in age, and there remaineth exceeding much land to be possessed: |

[2]This is the land that remaineth, all the regions of the Philistines, and all Geshuri, |
| [3]From SihorH7883, which is beforeH6440 EgyptH4714, even unto the bordersH1366 of EkronH6138 northwardH6828, which is countedH2803[H8735] to the CanaaniteH3669: fiveH2568 lordsH5633 of the PhilistinesH6430; the GazathitesH5841, and the AshdothitesH796, the EshkalonitesH832, the GittitesH1663, and the EkronitesH6139; also the AvitesH5761: |
[3]From Nilus which is in Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward: this is counted of the Canaanites, even five lordships of the Phillistines, the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, and the Avites: |

[4]From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and the cave that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, and to the borders of the Amorites: |
| [5]And the landH776 of the GiblitesH1382, and all LebanonH3844, toward the sunrisingH4217[H8121], from BaalgadH1171 under mountH2022 HermonH2768 unto the enteringH935[H8800] into HamathH2574. |
[5]And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sun rising from Bahal-gad under mount Hermon, until one come to Hamath. |

[6]All the inhabitants of the mountains from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, I will cast them out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites, to inherit, as I have commanded thee. |

[7]Now therefore divide this land to inherit, unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe of Manasseh. |

[8]For with half thereof the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the Lord had given them, |

[10]And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the borders of the children of Ammon, |
| [11]And GileadH1568, and the borderH1366 of the GeshuritesH1651 and MaachathitesH4602, and all mountH2022 HermonH2768, and all BashanH1316 unto SalcahH5548; |
[11]And Gilead, and the borders of the Geshurites and of the Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, with all Bashan unto Salcah: |
| [12]All the kingdomH4468 of OgH5747 in BashanH1316, which reignedH4427[H8804] in AshtarothH6252 and in EdreiH154, who remainedH7604[H8738] of the remnantH3499 of the giantsH7497: for these did MosesH4872 smiteH5221[H8686], and cast them outH3423.[H8686] |
[12]All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei: (who remained of the rest of the giants) for these did Moses smite, and cast them out. |
| [13]Nevertheless the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 expelledH3423[H8689] not the GeshuritesH1651, nor the MaachathitesH4602: but the GeshuritesH1650 and the MaachathitesH4601 dwellH3427[H8799] amongH7130 the IsraelitesH3478 until this dayH3117. |
[13]But the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites even unto this day. |
| [14]Only unto the tribeH7626 of LeviH3878 he gaveH5414[H8804] none inheritanceH5159; the sacrificesH801 of the LORDH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 made by fireH801 are their inheritanceH5159, as he saidH1696 unto themH8765. |
[14]Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance, but the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel are his inheritance, as he said unto him. |
| [15]And MosesH4872 gaveH5414[H8799] unto the tribeH4294 of the childrenH1121 of ReubenH7205 inheritance according to their familiesH4940. |
[15]Moses then gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance, according to their families. |

[19]Kirjathaim also, and Sibmah, and Zerethshahar in the mount of Emek: |

[20]And Beth-peor, and Ashdoth-pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth: |

[21]And all the cities of the plain: and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country. |
| [22]BalaamH1109 also the sonH1121 of BeorH1160, the soothsayerH7080[H8802], did the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 slayH2026[H8804] with the swordH2719 among themH413 that were slain by themH2491. |
[22]And Balaam the son of Beor the soothsayer did the children of Israel slay with the sword, among them that were slain. |
| [23]And the borderH1366 of the childrenH1121 of ReubenH7205 was JordanH3383, and the borderH1366 thereof. This was the inheritanceH5159 of the childrenH1121 of ReubenH7205 after their familiesH4940, the citiesH5892 and the villages thereofH2691. |
[23]And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan with the coasts. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, with the cities and their villages. |
| [24]And MosesH4872 gaveH5414[H8799] inheritance unto the tribeH4294 of GadH1410, even unto the childrenH1121 of GadH1410 according to their familiesH4940. |
[24]Also Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families. |
| [25]And their coastH1366 was JazerH3270, and all the citiesH5892 of GileadH1568, and halfH2677 the landH776 of the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983, unto AroerH6177 that is beforeH6440 RabbahH7237; |
[25]And their coasts were Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead and half the land of the children of Ammon unto Aroer, which is before Rabbah: |
| [26]And from HeshbonH2809 unto RamathmizpehH7434, and BetonimH993; and from MahanaimH4266 unto the borderH1366 of DebirH1688; |
[26]And from Heshbon unto Ramath, Mizpeh, and Betonim: and from Mahanaim unto the borders of Debir: |
| [27]And in the valleyH6010, BetharamH1027, and BethnimrahH1039, and SuccothH5523, and ZaphonH6829, the restH3499 of the kingdomH4468 of SihonH5511 kingH4428 of HeshbonH2809, JordanH3383 and his borderH1366, even unto the edgeH7097 of the seaH3220 of ChinnerethH3672 on the other sideH5676 JordanH3383 eastwardH4217. |
[27]And in the valley Beth-aram, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, unto Jordan and the borders even unto the Sea coast of Cinnereth, beyond Jordan eastward. |
| [28]This is the inheritanceH5159 of the childrenH1121 of GadH1410 after their familiesH4940, the citiesH5892, and their villagesH2691. |
[28]This is the inheritance of the children of Gad, after their families, with the cities, and their villages. |
| [29]And MosesH4872 gaveH5414[H8799] inheritance unto the halfH2677 tribeH7626 of ManassehH4519: and this was the possession of the halfH2677 tribeH4294 of the childrenH1121 of ManassehH4519 by their familiesH4940. |
[29]Also Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this belonged to the half tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families. |
| [30]And their coastH1366 was from MahanaimH4266, all BashanH1316, all the kingdomH4468 of OgH5747 kingH4428 of BashanH1316, and all the townsH2333 of JairH2971, which are in BashanH1316, threescoreH8346 citiesH5892: |
[30]And their border was from Mahanaim, even all Bashan, to wit, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair which are in Bashan, threescore cities, |
| [31]And halfH2677 GileadH1568, and AshtarothH6252, and EdreiH154, citiesH5892 of the kingdomH4468 of OgH5747 in BashanH1316, were pertaining unto the childrenH1121 of MachirH4353 the sonH1121 of ManassehH4519, even to the one halfH2677 of the childrenH1121 of MachirH4353 by their familiesH4940. |
[31]And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were given unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, to half of the children of Machir after their families. |
| [32]These are the countries which MosesH4872 did distribute for inheritanceH5157[H8765] in the plainsH6160 of MoabH4124, on the other sideH5676 JordanH3383, by JerichoH3405, eastwardH4217. |
[32]These are the heritages, which Moses did distribute in the plain of Moab beyond Jordan, toward Jericho eastward. |
| [33]But unto the tribeH7626 of LeviH3878 MosesH4872 gaveH5414[H8804] not any inheritanceH5159: the LORDH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 was their inheritanceH5159, as he saidH1696 unto themH8765. |
[33]But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave none inheritance: for the Lord God of Israel is their inheritance, as he said unto them. |
