[1]ܘܝܼܫܘܿܥ ܩܲܫ ܘܥܲܠ ܒܲܫܢܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ: ܘܐܸܡܲܪ ܠܹܗ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܗܵܐ ܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ ܩܲܫܬ̇ ܘܥܲܠܬ̇ ܒܲܫܢܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ: ܘܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܐܸܫܬܲܚܪܲܬ̤ ܣܲܓ̇ܝܼܵܐܐ ܗ̄ܝ̣ ܛܵܒ̣ ܠܡܹܐܪܬܵܗ̇. |
| [2]And this is the land that is left: the borders of the Phylistines, the Gesirite, and the Chananite, |
[2]ܗܕܲܐ ܗ̄ܝ̣ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܐܸܫܬܲܚܪܲܬ̤ ܒܟ݂ܠܹܗ ܓܠܝܼܠܵܐ ܕܲܦܠܸܫܬܵܝܹ̈ܐ ܘܲܒ̣ܟ݂ܠܹܗ ܐܲܬ̣ܪܵܐ ܕܥܝܼܢܕ̇ܘܿܪ. |
| [3]from the wilderness before Egypt, as far as the borders of Accaron on the left of the Chananites the land is reckoned to the five principalities of the Phylistines, to the inhabitant of Gaza, and of Azotus, and of Ascalon, and of Geth, and of Accaron, and to the Evite; |
[3]ܡ̣ܢ ܫܝܼܚܘܿܪ ܕܲܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܸܨܪܹܝܢ: ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܲܬ̣ܚܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܥܸܩܪܘܿܢ ܕܲܒ̣ܓܲܪܒ̇ܝܵܐ: ܕܲܟ݂ܢܲܥܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ ܡܸܬ̣ܚܲܫܒܵܐ: ܘܚܲܡܫܵܐ ܛܪ̈ܘܿܢܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܕܲܦܠܸܫ̈ܬܵܝܹܐ: ܓܲܙܬ̣ܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܐܲܫܕ̇ܘܿܕ݂ܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܐܲܫܩܵܠܘܿܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܓ̣ܵܬ̣ܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܥܸܩܪ̈ܘܿܢܵܝܹܐ: ܘܥܵܘܵܝܹ̈ܐ ܕܡ̣ܢ ܬܲܝ̱ܡܢܵܐ. |
| [4]from Thaeman even to all the land of Chanaan before Gaza, and the Sidonians as far as Aphec, as far as the borders of the Amorites. |
[4]ܘܟ݂ܠܵܗ̇ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܲܟ݂ܢܲܥܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܲܡܥܲܪܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܨܲܝܕ̇ܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܐܵܦܵܩ: ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܲܬ̣ܚܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܐܵܡܘܿܪ̈ܵܝܹܐ. |
| [5]And all the land of Galiath of the Phylistines, and all Libanus eastward from Galgal, under the mountain Aermon as far as the entering in of Emath; |
[5]ܘܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܲܓ̣ܒܸܠ ܘܟ݂ܠܹܗ ܠܸܒ̣ܢܵܢ: ܡ̣ܢ ܡܲܕ݂ܢܵܚܲܝ̈ ܫܸܡܫܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܓܸܠܥܵܕ݂: ܕܲܬ̣ܚܹܝܬ̣ ܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܚܸܪܡܘܿܢ: ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܡܲܥܠܵܢܵܐ ܕܲܚܡܵܬ̣. |
| [6]every one that inhabits the hill country from Libanus as far as Masereth Memphomaim. All the Sidonians, I will destroy them from before Israel; but do thou give them by inheritance to Israel, as I charged thee. |
[6]ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܵܡܘܿܪܹ̈ܐ ܕܛܘܼܪܹ̈ܐ: ܡ̣ܢ ܠܸܒ̣ܢܵܢ ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܐܲܬ̣ܪܵܐ ܕܡܲـ̈ـܝܵܐ ܚܲܡܝܼܡܹ̈ܐ: ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܨܲܝܕ̇ܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܐܸܢܵܐ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܐܵܘܒܸ̇ܕ݂ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܒ̈ܢܲܝ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ. ܒܲܠܚܘܿܕ݂ ܕܹܝܢ ܠܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܐܲܝܟܲܢܵܐ ܕܦܲܩܸܕܬܵܟ݂. |
| [7]And now divide this land by lot to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe of Manasse. |
[7]ܦܲܠܓܹܝܗ̇ ܠܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܗܵܕܹܐ ܒܝܵܪ̈ܬ̇ܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܠܬܸܫܥܵܐ ܫܲܒ̣̈ܛܹܐ: ܘܲܠܦܸܠܓܹ̇ܗ ܕܫܲܒ̣ܛܵܐ ܕܲܡܢܲܫܹܐ ܥܲܡܗܘܿܢ. |
| [8]From Jordan to the great sea westward thou shalt give it them: the great sea shall be the boundary. But to the two tribes and to the half tribe of Manasse, to Ruben and to Gad Moses gave an inheritance beyond Jordan: Moses the servant of the Lord gave it to them eastward, |
[8]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܪܘܼܒܹܝܠ: ܘܓ̣ܵܕ݂: ܘܦܸܠܓܹ̇ܗ ܕܫܲܒ̣ܛܵܐ ܕܲܡܢܲܫܹܐ: ܩܲܒܸ̇ܠܘ ܝܵܪܬ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ ܕܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ ܒܥܸܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܕܝܘܿܪܕ̇ܢܵܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܡܲܕ݂ܢ̱ܚܵܐ: ܐܲܝܟܲܢܵܐ ܕܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܒ̣ܕ̇ܝ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ. |
| [9]from Aroer, which is on the bank of the brook of Arnon, and the city in the midst of the valley, and all Misor from Maedaban. |
[9]ܡܢ ܥܲܕ݂ܘܵܥܝܼܪ ܕܥܲܠ ܣܸܦܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܢܲܚܠܵܐ ܕܐܲܪܢܘܿܢ: ܘܲܩܪܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܓܵܘܹܗ ܕܢܲܚܠܵܐ: ܘܟ݂ܠܵܗ̇ ܦܩܲܥܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܡܲܥ̱ܪܒ̣ܵܐ: ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܪܝܼܒ̣ܘܼܢ. |
| [10]All the cities of Seon king of the Amorites, who reigned from Esebon to the coasts of the children of Ammon; |
[10]ܘܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܕܣܝܼܚܘܿܢ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܐܵܡܘܿܪ̈ܵܝܹܐ ܕܐܲܡ̣ܠܸܟ݂ ܒܚܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܢ: ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܲܬ̣ܚܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܥܲܡܘܿܢ. |
| [11]and the region of Galaad, and the borders of the Gesirites and the Machatites, the whole mount of Aermon, and all the land of Basan to Acha. |
[11]ܘܓ̣ܠܥܵܕ݂: ܘܲܬ̣ܚܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܥܝܼܢܕ̇ܘܿܪ: ܘܲܕ݂ܩܘܼܪܘܿܣ: ܘܟ݂ܠܹܗ ܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܚܹܪܡܘܿܢ: ܘܟ݂ܠܵܗ̇ ܡܲܬ̣ܢܝܼܢ ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܣܲܠܟܵܐ. |
| [12]All the kingdom of Og in the region of Basan, who reigned in Astaroth and in Edrain: he was left of the giants; and Moses smote him, and destroyed him. |
[12]ܟܠܵܗ̇ ܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܬܹܗ ܕܥܘܿܓ̣ ܕܲܒ̣ܡܲܬ̣ܢܝܼܢ: ܕܐܲܡܠܸܟ݂ ܒܥܸܣܬ̇ܪܘܼܬ̣ ܘܒܲܐܪܕ̇ܥܝܼ. ܘܗ̤ܘ ܐܸܫܬ̇ܚܲܪ ܡ̣ܢ ܫܲܪܟܵܐ ܕܓܲܢ̄ܒܵܪܹ̈ܐ: ܕܩܲܛܸܠ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ ܘܝܼܪܹܬ̣ ܐܲܪ̱ܥܗܘܿܢ. |
| [13]But the children of Israel destroyed not the Gesirite and the Machatite and the Chananite; and the king of the Gesiri and the Machatite dwelt among the children of Israel until this day. |
[13]ܘܠܵܐ ܚܪܲܒ̣ܘ ܒ̈ܢܲܝ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܠܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܕܥܝܼܢܕ̇ܘܿܪ: ܘܲܕ݂ܩܘܼܪܘܿܣ ܘܝܼܬܸܒ̣ܘ ܥܝܼܢܕ̇ܘܿܪ̈ܵܝܹܐ ܘܩܘܼܪ̈ܘܿܣܵܝܹܐ ܒܓ̣ܵܘ ܒ̈ܢܲܝ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܝܵܘܡܵܢܵܐ. |
| [14]Only no inheritance was given to the tribe of Levi: the Lord God of Israel, he is their inheritance, as the Lord said to them; and this is the division which Moses made to the children of Israel in Araboth Moab, on the other side of Jordan, by Jericho. |
[14]ܒܲܠܚܘܿܕ݂ ܠܫܲܒ̣ܛܵܐ ܕܠܹܘܝܼ ܠܵܐ ܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܦܵܠܓܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܩܘܼܪ̈ܒܵܢܵܘܗܝ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܕܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܗܸܢܘܿܢ ܝܵܪܬ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ: ܐܲܝܟܲܢܵܐ ܕܐܸܡܲܪ ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ. |
| [15]And Moses gave the land to the tribe of Ruben according to their families. |
[15]ܘܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ ܠܫܲܒ̣ܛܵܐ ܕܪܘܼܒܹܝܠ ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [16]And their borders were from Aroer, which is opposite the brook of Arnon, and theirs is the city that is in the valley of Arnon; and all Misor, |
[16]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܬܚܘܼܡܗܘܿܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܥܲܕ݂ܘܵܥܝܼܪ ܕܥܲܠ ܓܹܢ̄ܒ̣ ܣܸܦܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܢܲܚܠܵܐ ܕܐܲܪܢܘܿܢ: ܘܲܩܪܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܓ̣ܵܘ ܢܲܚܠܵܐ: ܘܟ݂ܠܵܗ̇ ܦܩܲܥܬ̣ܵܐ: ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܪܝܼܒ̣ܵܐ. |
| [17]to Esebon, and all the cities in Misor, and Daebon, and Baemon-Baal, and the house of Meelboth; |
[17]ܘܚܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܢ: ܘܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܕܐܝܼܬ̣ ܒܲܦܩܲܥܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܪܝܼܒ̣ܘܿܢ ܘܡܲܬ̣ܒ̇ܥܸܠ: ܘܒܹܝܬ̣ ܒ̈ܢܲܝ ܥܲܡܘܿܢ. |
| [18]and Basan, and Bakedmoth, and Maephaad, |
[18]ܘܝܵܗܵܨ: ܘܩܸܪܡܘܼܬ̣: ܘܲܥܢܵܬ̣. |
| [19]and Kariathaim, and Sebama, and Serada, and Sion in mount Enab; |
[19]ܘܩܘܼܪܝܲܬ̇ܝܼܡ: ܘܫܲܡܡܵܐ: ܘܝܲܨܪܲܬ̣: ܘܣܵܥܝܼܪ ܕܲܒ̣ܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܥܘܼܡܩܵܐ. |
| [20]and Baethphogor, and Asedoth Phasga, and Baetthasinoth, |
[20]ܘܒܹܝܬ̣ ܦܥܘܿܪ: ܘܥܸܣܬ̇ܪܘܼܬ̣: ܘܦܲܣܓܵܐ: ܘܒܹܝܬ̣ ܐܲܚܫܡܘܿܬ̣. |
| [21]and all the cities of Misor, and all the kingdom of Seon king of the Amorites, whom Moses smote, even him and the princes of Madian, and Evi, and Roboc, and Sur, and Ur, and Robe prince of the spoils of Sion, and the inhabitants of Sion. |
[21]ܘܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܕܒܲܦܩܲܥܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܟ݂ܠܵܗ̇ ܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܬܹܗ ܕܣܝܼܚܘܿܢ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܐܵܡܘܿܪ̈ܵܝܹܐ ܕܐܲܡܠܸܟ݂ ܒܚܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܢ: ܕܩܲܛܠܹܗ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ ܘܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܒ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܒܡܸܕܝܼܢ: ܠܹܗ ܘܲܠܪܵܘ̱ܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܢܵܘܗܝ: ܠܐܘܿܝ: ܘܠܲܪܩܸܡ: ܘܲܠܨܘܿܪ: ܘܲܠܚܘܿܪ: ܘܠܲܪܒ̣ܵܥ: ܚܲܡܫܵܐ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܫܲܠܝܼܛܵܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܣܝܼܚܘܿܢ ܕܥܵܡ̇ܪܝܼܢ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ. |
| [22]And Balaam the son of Baeor the prophet they slew in the battle. |
[22]ܘܲܠܒܸܠܥܵܡ ܒܲܪ ܒܥܘܿܠ ܩܵܨܘܿܡܵܐ: ܩܲܛܠܘܼܗܝ ܒ̈ܢܲܝ ܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܒܚܲܪܒܵܐ ܥܲܡ ܩܛܝܼܠܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [23]And the borders of Ruben were—even Jordan was the boundary; this is the inheritance of the children of Ruben according to their families, these were their cities and their villages. |
[23]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܬܚܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܪܘܼܒܹܝܠ ܝܘܿܪܕ̇ܢܵܢ. ܗܵܕܲܐ ܗ̄ܝ̣ ܝܵܪܬ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܪܘܼܒܹܝܠ ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ: ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܘܐܵܓ̣ܘܼܪ̈ܣܲܝܗܹܝܢ. |
| [24]And Moses gave inheritance to the sons of Gad according to their families. |
[24]ܘܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ܘ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ ܠܫܲܒ̣ܛܵܐ ܕܓ̣ܵܕ݂ ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [25]And their borders were Jazer, all the cities of Galaad, and half the land of the children of Ammon to Araba, which is before Arad. |
[25]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܬܚܘܼܡܗܘܿܢ: ܝܲܥܙܝܼܪ ܘܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܕܓܸܠܥܵܕ݂: ܘܦܸܠܓܵܗ̇ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܥܲܡܘܿܢ: ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܥܲܕ݂ܘܵܥܝܼܪ ܕܐܝܼܬ̣ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܪܲܒܲܬ̣. |
| [26]And from Esebon to Araboth by Massepha, and Botanim, and Maan to the borders of Daebon, |
[26]ܘܡ̣ܢ ܚܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܢ ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܪܵܡܲܬ̣ ܡܲܨܦܝܵܐ ܘܒܲܛܢܝܼܢ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܡܲܚܢܝܼܡ ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܲܬ̣ܚܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܕ݂ܵܒܝܼܪ. |
| [27]and Enadom, and Othargai, and Baenthanabra, and Soccotha, and Saphan, and the rest of the kingdom of Sean king of Esebon: and Jordan shall be the boundary as far as part of the sea of Chenereth beyond Jordan eastward. |
[27]ܘܲܒ̣ܥܘܼܡܩܵܐ: ܒܹܝܬ̣ ܐܲܬ̣ܝܼܡ: ܘܒܹܝܬ̣ ܢܲܡܪܵܐ: ܘܣܵܟ݂ܘܼܬ̣: ܘܓܲܪܒ̇ܝܵܐ: ܘܫܲܪܟܵܐ ܕܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܬܹܗ ܕܣܸܚܘܿܢ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܚܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܢ: ܘܲܬ̣ܚܘܼܡܗܘܿܢ ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܝܘܿܪܕ̇ܢܵܢ: ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܣܵܘܦܵܐ ܕܝܲܡܵܐ ܕܟܸܢܪܲܬ̣. ܠܥܸܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܕܝܘܿܪܕ̇ܢܵܢ ܕܲܒ̣ܡܲܕ݂ܢ̱ܚܵܐ. |
| [28]This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families and according to their cities: according to their families they will turn their backs before their enemies, because their cities and their villages were according to their families. |
[28]ܗܵܕܲܐ ܗ̄ܝ̣ ܝܵܪܬ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܓܵܕ݂ ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ: ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܘܐܲܓ̣ܘܼܪ̈ܣܲܝܗܹܝܢ. |
| [29]And Moses gave to half the tribe of Manasse according to their families. |
[29]ܘܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ ܠܦܸܠܓܘܼܬ̣ ܫܲܒ̣ܛܵܐ ܕܲܡܢܲܫܹܐ: ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܬ̣ ܦܵܠܓ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ ܕܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܡܢܲܫܹܐ ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [30]And their borders were from Maan, and all the kingdom of Basan, and all the kingdom of Og king of Basan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in the region of Basan, sixty cities: |
[30]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܬܚܘܼܡܗܘܿܢ: ܡ̣ܢ ܡܲܚܢܝܼܡ ܘܟ݂ܠܵܗ̇ ܡܲܬ̣ܢܝܼܢ: ܘܟ݂ܠܵܗ̇ ܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܬܹܗ ܕܥܘܿܓ̣ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܡܲܬ̣ܢܝܼܢ: ܘܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܟܲܦܪ̈ܘܿܢܹܐ ܕܝܵܐܝܼܪ ܕܲܒ̣ܡܲܬ̣ܢܹܝܢ: ܫܬ̇ܝܼܢ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ. |
| [31]and the half of Galaad, and in Astaroth, and in Edrain, royal cities of Og in the land of Basan, Moses gave to the sons of Machir the sons of Manasse, even to the half-tribe sons of Machir the sons of Manasse, according to their families. |
[31]ܘܦܸܠܓܵܗ̇ ܕܓܸܠܥܵܕ݂ ܘܲܕ݂ܥܸܣܬ̇ܪܘܼܬ̣: ܘܕܲܐܪܕ̇ܥܝܼ: ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܕܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܬܹܗ ܕܥܘܿܓ ܕܲܒ̣ܡܲܬ̣ܢܝܼܢ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܩܘܼܪ̈ܝܵܐ ܘܟܲܦܪ̈ܘܿܢܲܝܗܹܝܢ: ܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܡܘܼܫܹܐ ܠܲܒ̣ܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܡܵܟ݂ܝܼܪ ܒܲܪ ܡܢܲܫܹܐ: ܠܦܸܠܓܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣̈ܢܲܝ ܡܵܟ݂ܝܼܪ ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [32]These are they whom Moses caused to inherit beyond Jordan in Araboth Moab, beyond Jordan by Jericho eastward. |
