[1]And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| [2]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559[H8800], If a womanH802 have conceived seedH2232[H8686], and bornH3205[H8804] a man childH2145: then she shall be uncleanH2930[H8804] sevenH7651 daysH3117; according to the daysH3117 of the separationH5079 for her infirmityH1738[H8800] shall she be uncleanH2930.[H8799] |
[2]Speak unto the children of Israel, and say, When a woman hath brought forth seed, and born a man child, she shall be unclean seven days, like as she is unclean when she is put apart for her disease. |
| [3]And in the eighthH8066 dayH3117 the fleshH1320 of his foreskinH6190 shall be circumcisedH4135.[H8735] |
[3](And in the eighth day, the foreskin of the child's flesh shall be circumcised) |
| [4]And she shall then continueH3427[H8799] in the bloodH1818 of her purifyingH2893 threeH7969 and thirtyH7970 daysH3117; she shall touchH5060[H8799] no hallowedH6944 thing, nor comeH935[H8799] into the sanctuaryH4720, until the daysH3117[H3117] of her purifyingH2892 be fulfilledH4390.[H8800] |
[4]And she shall continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days: she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the time of her purifying be out. |
| [5]But if she bearH3205[H8799] a maid childH5347, then she shall be uncleanH2930[H8804] two weeksH7620, as in her separationH5079: and she shall continueH3427[H8799] in the bloodH1818 of her purifyingH2893 threescoreH8346 and sixH8337 daysH3117. |
[5]But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as when she hath her disease: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days. |
| [6]And when the daysH3117 of her purifyingH2892 are fulfilledH4390[H8800], for a sonH1121, or for a daughterH1323, she shall bringH935[H8686] a lambH3532 of the firstH1121 yearH8141 for a burnt offeringH5930, and a youngH1121 pigeonH3123, or a turtledoveH8449, for a sin offeringH2403, unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, unto the priestH3548: |
[6]Now when the days of her purifying are out, (whether it be for a son or for a daughter) she shall bring to the priest a lamb of one year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle dove for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, |
| [7]Who shall offerH7126[H8689] it beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, and make an atonementH3722[H8765] for her; and she shall be cleansedH2891[H8804] from the issueH4726 of her bloodH1818. This is the lawH8451 for her that hath bornH3205[H8802] a maleH2145 or a femaleH5347. |
[7]Who shall offer it before the Lord, and make an atonement for her: so she shall be purged of the issue of her blood this is the law for her that hath born a male or female. |
| [8]And if she be not able to bringH4672[H8799][H1767][H3027] a lambH7716, then she shall bringH3947[H8804] twoH8147 turtlesH8449, or two youngH1121 pigeonsH3123; the oneH259 for the burnt offeringH5930, and the otherH259 for a sin offeringH2403: and the priestH3548 shall make an atonementH3722[H8765] for her, and she shall be cleanH2891.[H8804] |
[8]But if she be not able to bring a lamb, she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons: the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her: so she shall be clean. |
