| [1]וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר׃ |
[1]And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696[H8762] unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,[H8800] |
| [2]דַּבֵּר אֶל־אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל־בָּנָיו וְאֶל כָּל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה לֵאמֹר׃ |
[2]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto AaronH175, and unto his sonsH1121, and unto all the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559[H8804] unto them; This is the thingH1697 which the LORDH3068 hath commandedH6680[H8765], sayingH559,[H8800] |
| [3]אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחַט שֹׁור אֹו־כֶשֶׂב אֹו־עֵז בַּמַּחֲנֶה אֹו אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחַט מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה׃ |
[3]WhatH376 manH376 soever there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, that killethH7819[H8799] an oxH7794, or lambH3775, or goatH5795, in the campH4264, or that killethH7819[H8799] it outH2351 of the campH4264, |
| [4]וְאֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד לֹא הֱבִיאֹו לְהַקְרִיב קָרְבָּן לַיהוָה לִפְנֵי מִשְׁכַּן יְהוָה דָּם יֵחָשֵׁב לָאִישׁ הַהוּא דָּם שָׁפָךְ וְנִכְרַת הָאִישׁ הַהוּא מִקֶּרֶב עַמֹּו׃ |
[4]And bringethH935[H8689] it not unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, to offerH7126[H8687] an offeringH7133 unto the LORDH3068 beforeH6440 the tabernacleH4908 of the LORDH3068; bloodH1818 shall be imputedH2803[H8735] unto that manH376; he hath shedH8210[H8804] bloodH1818; and that manH376 shall be cut offH3772[H8738] from amongH7130 his peopleH5971: |
| [5]לְמַעַן אֲשֶׁר יָבִיאוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־זִבְחֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר הֵם זֹבְחִים עַל־פְּנֵי הַשָּׂדֶה וֶהֱבִיאֻם לַיהוָה אֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן וְזָבְחוּ זִבְחֵי שְׁלָמִים לַיהוָה אֹותָם׃ |
[5]To the end that the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 may bringH935[H8686] their sacrificesH2077, which they offerH2076[H8802] in the openH6440 fieldH7704, even that they may bringH935[H8689] them unto the LORDH3068, unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, unto the priestH3548, and offerH2076[H8804] them for peaceH8002 offeringsH2077 unto the LORDH3068. |
| [6]וְזָרַק הַכֹּהֵן אֶת־הַדָּם עַל־מִזְבַּח יְהוָה פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וְהִקְטִיר הַחֵלֶב לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה׃ |
[6]And the priestH3548 shall sprinkleH2236[H8804] the bloodH1818 upon the altarH4196 of the LORDH3068 at the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, and burnH6999[H8689] the fatH2459 for a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068. |
| [7]וְלֹא־יִזְבְּחוּ עֹוד אֶת־זִבְחֵיהֶם לַשְּׂעִירִם אֲשֶׁר הֵם זֹנִים אַחֲרֵיהֶם חֻקַּת עֹולָם תִּהְיֶה־זֹּאת לָהֶם לְדֹרֹתָם׃ |
[7]And they shall no more offerH2076[H8799] their sacrificesH2077 unto devilsH8163, afterH310 whom they have gone a whoringH2181[H8802]. This shall be a statuteH2708 for everH5769 unto them throughout their generationsH1755. |
| [8]וַאֲלֵהֶם תֹּאמַר אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַגֵּר אֲשֶׁר־יָגוּר בְּתֹוכָם אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲלֶה עֹלָה אֹו־זָבַח׃ |
[8]And thou shalt sayH559[H8799] unto them, Whatsoever manH376 there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangersH1616 which sojournH1481[H8799] amongH8432 you, that offerethH5927[H8686] a burnt offeringH5930 or sacrificeH2077, |
| [9]וְאֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד לֹא יְבִיאֶנּוּ לַעֲשֹׂות אֹתֹו לַיהוָה וְנִכְרַת הָאִישׁ הַהוּא מֵעַמָּיו׃ |
[9]And bringethH935[H8686] it not unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, to offerH6213[H8800] it unto the LORDH3068; even that manH376 shall be cut offH3772[H8738] from among his peopleH5971. |
| [10]וְאִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכָם אֲשֶׁר יֹאכַל כָּל־דָּם וְנָתַתִּי פָנַי בַּנֶּפֶשׁ הָאֹכֶלֶת אֶת־הַדָּם וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתָהּ מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּהּ׃ |
[10]And whatsoever manH376 there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangersH1616 that sojournH1481[H8802] amongH8432 you, that eatethH398[H8799] any manner of bloodH1818; I will even setH5414[H8804] my faceH6440 against that soulH5315 that eatethH398[H8802] bloodH1818, and will cut him offH3772[H8689] from amongH7130 his peopleH5971. |
| [11]כִּי נֶפֶשׁ הַבָּשָׂר בַּדָּם הִוא וַאֲנִי נְתַתִּיו לָכֶם עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לְכַפֵּר עַל־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם כִּי־הַדָּם הוּא בַּנֶּפֶשׁ יְכַפֵּר׃ |
[11]For the lifeH5315 of the fleshH1320 is in the bloodH1818: and I have givenH5414[H8804] it to you upon the altarH4196 to make an atonementH3722[H8763] for your soulsH5315: for it is the bloodH1818 that maketh an atonementH3722[H8762] for the soulH5315. |
| [12]עַל־כֵּן אָמַרְתִּי לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ םִכֶּם לֹא־תֹאכַל דָּם וְהַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכְכֶם לֹא־יֹאכַל דָּם׃ |
[12]Therefore I saidH559[H8804] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, No soulH5315 of you shall eatH398[H8799] bloodH1818, neither shall any strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481[H8802] amongH8432 you eatH398[H8799] bloodH1818. |
| [13]וְאִישׁ אִישׁ מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכָם אֲשֶׁר יָצוּד צֵיד חַיָּה אֹו־עֹוף אֲשֶׁר יֵאָכֵל וְשָׁפַךְ אֶת־דָּמֹו וְכִסָּהוּ בֶּעָפָר׃ |
[13]And whatsoever manH376 there be of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangersH1616 that sojournH1481[H8802] amongH8432 you, which huntethH6679[H8799] and catchethH6718 any beastH2416 or fowlH5775 that may be eatenH398[H8735]; he shall even pourH8210[H8804] out the bloodH1818 thereof, and coverH3680[H8765] it with dustH6083. |
| [14]כִּי־נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂר דָּמֹו בְנַפְשֹׁו הוּא וָאֹמַר לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל דַּם כָּל־בָּשָׂר לֹא תֹאכֵלוּ כִּי נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂר דָּמֹו הִוא כָּל־אֹכְלָיו יִכָּרֵת׃ |
[14]For it is the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320; the bloodH1818 of it is for the lifeH5315 thereof: therefore I saidH559[H8799] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, Ye shall eatH398[H8799] the bloodH1818 of no manner of fleshH1320: for the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320 is the bloodH1818 thereof: whosoever eatethH398[H8802] it shall be cut offH3772.[H8735] |
| [15]וְכָל־נֶפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תֹּאכַל נְבֵלָה וּטְרֵפָה בָּאֶזְרָח וּבַגֵּר וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעֶרֶב וְטָהֵר׃ |
[15]And every soulH5315 that eatethH398[H8799] that which diedH5038 of itself, or that which was tornH2966 with beasts, whether it be one of your own countryH249, or a strangerH1616, he shall both washH3526[H8765] his clothesH899, and batheH7364[H8804] himself in waterH4325, and be uncleanH2930[H8804] until the evenH6153: then shall he be cleanH2891.[H8804] |
| [16]וְאִם לֹא יְכַבֵּס וּבְשָׂרֹו לֹא יִרְחָץ וְנָשָׂא עֲוֹנֹו׃ |
[16]But if he washH3526[H8762] them not, nor batheH7364[H8799] his fleshH1320; then he shall bearH5375[H8804] his iniquityH5771. |
