[1]And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| [2]CommandH6680[H8761] the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they bringH3947[H8799] unto thee pureH2134 oilH8081 oliveH2132 beatenH3795 for the lightH3974, to cause the lampsH5216 to burnH5927[H8687] continuallyH8548. |
[2]Command the children of Israel that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten, for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually. |
| [3]WithoutH2351 the vailH6532 of the testimonyH5715, in the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, shall AaronH175 orderH6186[H8799] it from the eveningH6153 unto the morningH1242 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 continuallyH8548: it shall be a statuteH2708 for everH5769 in your generationsH1755. |
[3]Without the veil of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron dress them, both even and morning before the Lord always: this shall be a law forever through your generations. |
| [4]He shall orderH6186[H8799] the lampsH5216 upon the pureH2889 candlestickH4501 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 continuallyH8548. |
[4]He shall dress the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the Lord perpetually. |
| [5]And thou shalt takeH3947[H8804] fine flourH5560, and bakeH644[H8804] twelveH6240 cakesH2471 thereof: twoH8147 tenth dealsH6241 shall be in oneH259 cakeH2471. |
[5]Also thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake. |
| [6]And thou shalt setH7760[H8804] them in twoH8147 rowsH4634, sixH8337 on a rowH4635, upon the pureH2889 tableH7979 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. |
[6]And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row upon the pure table before the Lord. |
| [7]And thou shalt putH5414[H8804] pureH2134 frankincenseH3828 upon each rowH4635, that it may be on the breadH3899 for a memorialH234, even an offering made by fireH801 unto the LORDH3068. |
[7]Thou shalt also put pure incense upon the rows, that instead of the bread it may be for a remembrance, and an offering made by fire to the Lord. |
| [8]Every sabbathH7676 he shall set itH3117 in orderH6186[H8799] beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 continuallyH8548, being taken from the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 by an everlastingH5769 covenantH1285. |
[8]Every Sabbath he shall put them in rows before the Lord evermore, receiving them of the children of Israel for an everlasting covenant. |
| [9]And it shall be Aaron'sH175 and his sonsH1121 '; and they shall eatH398[H8804] it in the holyH6918 placeH4725: for it is mostH6944 holyH6944 unto him of the offeringsH801 of the LORDH3068 made by fireH801 by a perpetualH5769 statuteH2706. |
[9]And the bread shall be Aaron's and his sons', and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the Lord made by fire by a perpetual ordinance. |
| [10]And the sonH1121 of an IsraelitishH3482 womanH802, whose fatherH1121 was an EgyptianH376[H4713], went outH3318[H8799] amongH8432 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478[H3481]: and this sonH1121 of the IsraelitishH3482 woman and a manH376 of IsraelH3478 strove togetherH5327[H8735] in the campH4264; |
[10]And there went out among the children of Israel the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian: and this son of the Israelitish woman, and a man of Israel strove together in the host. |
| [11]And the IsraelitishH3482 woman'sH802 sonH1121 blasphemedH5344[H8799] the nameH8034 of the LORD, and cursedH7043[H8762]. And they broughtH935[H8686] him unto MosesH4872: (and his mother'sH517 nameH8034 was ShelomithH8019, the daughterH1323 of DibriH1704, of the tribeH4294 of DanH1835:) |
[11]So the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed, and they brought him unto Moses (his mother's name also was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan) |
| [12]And they putH3240[H8686] him in wardH4929, that the mindH6310 of the LORDH3068 might be shewedH6567 themH8800. |
[12]And they put him inward, till he told them the mind of the Lord. |
| [13]And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696[H8762] unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,[H8800] |
[13]Then the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| [14]Bring forthH3318[H8685] him that hath cursedH7043[H8764] withoutH2351 the campH4264; and let all that heardH8085[H8802] him layH5564[H8804] their handsH3027 upon his headH7218, and let all the congregationH5712 stoneH7275 himH8804. |
[14]Bring the blasphemer without the host, and let all that heard him, put their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him. |
| [15]And thou shalt speakH1696[H8762] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559[H8800], WhosoeverH376 cursethH3588[H7043][H8762] his GodH430 shall bearH5375[H8804] his sinH2399. |
[15]And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God, shall bear his sin. |
| [16]And he that blasphemethH5344[H8802] the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068, he shall surelyH4191[H8800] be put to deathH4191[H8714], and all the congregationH5712 shall certainlyH7275[H8800] stoneH7275[H8799] him: as well the strangerH1616, as he that is born in the landH249, when he blasphemethH5344[H8800] the nameH8034 of the LORD, shall be put to deathH4191.[H8714] |
[16]And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him to death: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land: when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, let him be slain. |
| [17]And heH376 that killethH5221[H8686] anyH5315 manH120 shall surelyH4191[H8800] be put to deathH4191.[H8714] |
[17]He also that killeth any man, he shall be put to death. |
| [18]And he that killethH5221[H8688] a beastH5315[H929] shall make it goodH7999[H8762]; beastH5315 for beastH5315. |
[18]And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it, beast for beast. |
| [19]And if a manH376 causeH5414[H8799] a blemishH3971 in his neighbourH5997; as he hath doneH6213[H8804], so shall it be doneH6213 to himH8735; |
[19]Also if a man cause any blemish in his neighbor: as he hath done, so shall it be done to him. |
| [20]BreachH7667 for breachH7667, eyeH5869 for eyeH5869, toothH8127 for toothH8127: as he hath causedH5414[H8799] a blemishH3971 in a manH120, so shall it be doneH5414 to him againH8735. |
[20]Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: such a blemish as he hath made in any, such shall be repaid to him. |
| [21]And he that killethH5221[H8688] a beastH929, he shall restoreH7999[H8762] it: and he that killethH5221[H8688] a manH120, he shall be put to deathH4191.[H8714] |
[21]And he that killeth a beast shall restore it: but he that killeth a man shall be slain. |
| [22]Ye shall have oneH259 manner of lawH4941, as well for the strangerH1616, as for one of your own countryH249: for I am the LORDH3068 your GodH430. |
[22]Ye shall have one law: it shall be as well for the stranger as for one born in the country: for I am the Lord your God. |
| [23]And MosesH4872 spakeH1696[H8762] to the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they should bring forthH3318[H8686] him that had cursedH7043[H8764] outH2351 of the campH4264, and stoneH7275[H8799] him with stonesH68. And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 didH6213[H8804] as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680[H8765] MosesH4872. |
[23]Then Moses told the children of Israel, and they brought the blasphemer out of the host, and stoned him with stones: so the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses. |
