| [2]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559[H8804] unto them, When a manH376 shall make a singularH6381[H8686] vowH5088, the personsH5315 shall be for the LORDH3068 by thy estimationH6187. |
[2]Loquere filiis Israël, et dices ad eos: Homo qui votum fecerit, et spoponderit Deo animam suam, sub æstimatione dabit pretium. |
| [3]And thy estimationH6187 shall be of the maleH2145 from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 oldH1121 even unto sixtyH8346 yearsH8141 oldH1121, even thy estimationH6187 shall be fiftyH2572 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701, after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944. |
[3]Si fuerit masculus a vigesimo anno usque ad sexagesimum annum, dabit quinquaginta siclos argenti ad mensuram sanctuarii: |
| [4]And if it be a femaleH5347, then thy estimationH6187 shall be thirtyH7970 shekelsH8255. |
[4]si mulier, triginta. |
| [5]And if it be from fiveH2568 yearsH8141 oldH1121 even unto twentyH6242 yearsH8141 oldH1121, then thy estimationH6187 shall be of the maleH2145 twentyH6242 shekelsH8255, and for the femaleH5347 tenH6235 shekelsH8255. |
[5]A quinto autem anno usque ad vigesimum, masculus dabit viginti siclos: femina, decem. |
| [6]And if it be from a monthH2320 oldH1121 even unto fiveH2568 yearsH8141 oldH1121, then thy estimationH6187 shall be of the maleH2145 fiveH2568 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701, and for the femaleH5347 thy estimationH6187 shall be threeH7969 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701. |
[6]Ab uno mense usque ad annum quintum, pro masculo dabuntur quinque sicli: pro femina, tres. |
| [7]And if it be from sixtyH8346 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and aboveH4605; if it be a maleH2145, then thy estimationH6187 shall be fifteenH2568[H6240] shekelsH8255, and for the femaleH5347 tenH6235 shekelsH8255. |
[7]Sexagenarius et ultra masculus dabit quindecim siclos: femina, decem. |
| [8]But if he be poorerH4134[H8802] than thy estimationH6187, then he shall presentH5975[H8689] himself beforeH6440 the priestH3548, and the priestH3548 shall valueH6186[H8689] him; according toH6310 his abilityH3027[H5381][H8686] that vowedH5087[H8802] shall the priestH3548 valueH6186 himH8686. |
[8]Si pauper fuerit, et æstimationem reddere non valebit, stabit coram sacerdote: et quantum ille æstimaverit, et viderit eum posse reddere, tantum dabit. |
| [9]And if it be a beastH929, whereof men bringH7126[H8686] an offeringH7133 unto the LORDH3068, all that any man givethH5414[H8799] of such unto the LORDH3068 shall be holyH6944. |
[9]Animal autem, quod immolari potest Domino, si quis voverit, sanctum erit, |
| [10]He shall not alterH2498[H8686] it, nor changeH4171[H8686] it, a goodH2896 for a badH7451, or a badH7451 for a goodH2896: and if he shall at allH4171[H8687] changeH4171[H8686] beastH929 for beastH929, then it and the exchangeH8545 thereof shall be holyH6944. |
[10]et mutari non poterit, id est, nec melius malo, nec pejus bono: quod si mutaverit, et ipsum quod mutatum est, et illud pro quo mutatum est, consecratum erit Domino. |
| [11]And if it be any uncleanH2931 beastH929, of which they do not offerH7126[H8686] a sacrificeH7133 unto the LORDH3068, then he shall presentH5975[H8689] the beastH929 beforeH6440 the priestH3548: |
[11]Animal immundum, quod immolari Domino non potest, si quis voverit, adducetur ante sacerdotem: |
| [12]And the priestH3548 shall valueH6186[H8689] it, whetherH996 it be goodH2896 orH996 badH7451: as thou valuestH6187 it, who art the priest, so shall it beH3548. |
[12]qui judicans utrum bonum an malum sit, statuet pretium. |
| [13]But if he will at allH1350[H8800] redeemH1350[H8799] it, then he shall addH3254[H8804] a fifthH2549 part thereof unto thy estimationH6187. |
[13]Quod si dare voluerit is qui offert, addet supra æstimationem quintam partem. |
| [14]And when a manH376 shall sanctifyH6942[H8686] his houseH1004 to be holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068, then the priestH3548 shall estimateH6186[H8689] it, whether it be goodH2896 or badH7451: as the priestH3548 shall estimateH6186[H8686] it, so shall it standH6965.[H8799] |
[14]Homo si voverit domum suam, et sanctificaverit Domino, considerabit eam sacerdos utrum bona an mala sit, et juxta pretium, quod ab eo fuerit constitutum, venundabitur: |
| [15]And if he that sanctifiedH6942[H8688] it will redeemH1350[H8799] his houseH1004, then he shall addH3254[H8804] the fifthH2549 part of the moneyH3701 of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be hisH6187. |
[15]sin autem ille qui voverat, voluerit redimere eam, dabit quintam partem æstimationis supra, et habebit domum. |
| [16]And if a manH376 shall sanctifyH6942[H8686] unto the LORDH3068 some part of a fieldH7704 of his possessionH272, then thy estimationH6187 shall be accordingH6310 to the seedH2233 thereof: an homerH2563 of barleyH8184 seedH2233 shall be valued at fiftyH2572 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701. |
[16]Quod si agrum possessionis suæ voverit, et consecraverit Domino, juxta mensuram sementis æstimabitur pretium: si triginta modiis hordei seritur terra, quinquaginta siclis venundetur argenti. |
| [17]If he sanctifyH6942[H8686] his fieldH7704 from the yearH8141 of jubileH3104, according to thy estimationH6187 it shall standH6965.[H8799] |
[17]Si statim ab anno incipientis jubilæi voverit agrum, quanto valere potest, tanto æstimabitur. |
| [18]But if he sanctifyH6942[H8686] his fieldH7704 afterH310 the jubileH3104, then the priestH3548 shall reckonH2803[H8765] unto him the moneyH3701 according toH6310 the yearsH8141 that remainH3498[H8737], even unto the yearH8141 of the jubileH3104, and it shall be abatedH1639[H8738] from thy estimationH6187. |
[18]Sin autem post aliquantum temporis, supputabit sacerdos pecuniam juxta annorum, qui reliqui sunt, numerum usque ad jubilæum, et detrahetur ex pretio. |
| [19]And if he that sanctifiedH6942[H8688] the fieldH7704 will in any wiseH1350[H8800] redeemH1350[H8799] it, then he shall addH3254[H8804] the fifthH2549 part of the moneyH3701 of thy estimationH6187 unto it, and it shall be assuredH6965 to himH8804. |
[19]Quod si voluerit redimere agrum ille qui voverat, addet quintam partem æstimatæ pecuniæ, et possidebit eum. |
| [20]And if he will not redeemH1350[H8799] the fieldH7704, or if he have soldH4376[H8804] the fieldH7704 to anotherH312 manH376, it shall not be redeemedH1350 any moreH8735. |
[20]Sin autem noluerit redimere, sed alteri cuilibet fuerit venundatus, ultra eum qui voverat redimere non poterit. |
| [21]But the fieldH7704, when it goeth outH3318[H8800] in the jubileH3104, shall be holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068, as a fieldH7704 devotedH2764; the possessionH272 thereof shall be the priest'sH3548. |
[21]Quia cum jubilæi venerit dies, sanctificatus erit Domino, et possessio consecrata ad jus pertinet sacerdotum. |
| [22]And if a man sanctifyH6942[H8686] unto the LORDH3068 a fieldH7704 which he hath boughtH4736, which is not of the fieldsH7704 of his possessionH272; |
[22]Si ager emptus est, et non de possessione majorum sanctificatus fuerit Domino, |
| [23]Then the priestH3548 shall reckonH2803[H8765] unto him the worthH4373 of thy estimationH6187, even unto the yearH8141 of the jubileH3104: and he shall giveH5414[H8804] thine estimationH6187 in that dayH3117, as a holy thingH6944 unto the LORDH3068. |
[23]supputabit sacerdos juxta annorum numerum usque ad jubilæum, pretium: et dabit ille qui voverat eum, Domino. |
| [24]In the yearH8141 of the jubileH3104 the fieldH7704 shall returnH7725[H8799] unto him of whom it was boughtH7069[H8804], even to him to whom the possessionH272 of the land did belongH776. |
[24]In jubilæo autem revertetur ad priorem dominum, qui vendiderat eum, et habuerat in sorte possessionis suæ. |
| [25]And all thy estimationsH6187 shall be according to the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944: twentyH6242 gerahsH1626 shall be the shekelH8255. |
[25]Omnis æstimatio siclo sanctuarii ponderabitur. Siclus viginti obolos habet. |
| [26]Only the firstlingH1060 of the beastsH929, which should be the LORD'SH3068 firstlingH1069[H8792], no manH376 shall sanctifyH6942[H8686] it; whether it be oxH7794, or sheepH7716: it is the LORD'SH3068. |
[26]Primogenita, quæ ad Dominum pertinent, nemo sanctificare poterit et vovere: sive bos, sive ovis fuerit, Domini sunt. |
| [27]And if it be of an uncleanH2931 beastH929, then he shall redeemH6299[H8804] it according to thine estimationH6187, and shall addH3254[H8804] a fifthH2549 part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemedH1350[H8735], then it shall be soldH4376[H8738] according to thy estimationH6187. |
[27]Quod si immundum est animal, redimet qui obtulit, juxta æstimationem tuam, et addet quintam partem pretii: si redimere noluerit, vendetur alteri quantocumque a te fuerit æstimatum. |
| [28]Notwithstanding no devoted thingH2764, that a manH376 shall devoteH2763[H8686] unto the LORDH3068 of all that he hath, both of manH120 and beastH929, and of the fieldH7704 of his possessionH272, shall be soldH4376[H8735] or redeemedH1350[H8735]: every devoted thingH2764 is mostH6944 holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068. |
[28]Omne quod Domino consecratur, sive homo fuerit, sive animal, sive ager, non vendetur, nec redimi poterit. Quidquid semel fuerit consecratum, Sanctum sanctorum erit Domino: |
| [29]None devotedH2764, which shall beH3808 devotedH2763[H8714] of menH120, shall be redeemedH6299[H8735]; but shall surelyH4191[H8800] be put to deathH4191.[H8714] |
[29]et omnis consecratio, quæ offertur ab homine, non redimetur, sed morte morietur. |
| [30]And all the titheH4643 of the landH776, whether of the seedH2233 of the landH776, or of the fruitH6529 of the treeH6086, is the LORD'SH3068: it is holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068. |
[30]Omnes decimæ terræ, sive de frugibus, sive de pomis arborum, Domini sunt, et illi sanctificantur. |
| [31]And if a manH376 will at allH1350[H8800] redeemH1350[H8799] ought of his tithesH4643, he shall addH3254[H8686] thereto the fifth part thereofH2549. |
[31]Si quis autem voluerit redimere decimas suas, addet quintam partem earum. |
| [32]And concerning the titheH4643 of the herdH1241, or of the flockH6629, even of whatsoever passethH5674[H8799] under the rodH7626, the tenthH6224 shall be holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068. |
[32]Omnium decimarum bovis et ovis et capræ, quæ sub pastoris virga transeunt, quidquid decimum venerit, sanctificabitur Domino. |
| [33]He shall not searchH1239[H8762] whether it be goodH2896 or badH7451, neither shall he changeH4171[H8686] it: and if he changeH4171[H8686] it at allH4171[H8687], then both it and the changeH8545 thereof shall be holyH6944; it shall not be redeemedH1350.[H8735] |
[33]Non eligetur nec bonum nec malum, nec altero commutabitur, si quis mutaverit: et quod mutatum est, et pro quo mutatum est, sanctificabitur Domino, et non redimetur. |
| [34]These are the commandmentsH4687, which the LORDH3068 commandedH6680[H8765] MosesH4872 for the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 in mountH2022 SinaiH5514. |
[34]Hæc sunt præcepta, quæ mandavit Dominus Moysi ad filios Israël in monte Sinai. |
