[1]Nearing was but the feast of unleavened bread which is called Passover [1]And the feast of unleavened cakes, which is called the passover, drew near.
[2]And seeking were Chief the Priests and the Scribes that how? they might kill Him were afraid they were for of the people [2]And the chief priests and Scribes sought how they might kill him, for they were afraid of the people.
[3]Entered had but Satan Yehuda who is called Skariota he who been had of the number of the twelve [3]And Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.
[4]And he went he spoke with Chief the Priests and the Scribes and the commanders of the forces of the temple so as to deliver Him to them [4]And he went and conferred with the chief priests and Scribes, and the military commanders of the temple, how he might betray him to them.
[5]And they rejoiced and they promised to give to him money [5]And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
[6]And he made an agreement with them and seeking he was occasion to deliver Him to them without any gathering [6]And he promised them, and sought opportunity to betray him to them, in the absence of the multitude.
[7]And arrived The Day of Unleavened Bread in which it was the custom for to be slain the Passover lamb [7]And the day of unleavened cakes arrived, on which it was customary for the passover to be slain.
[8]And sent Ieshu Kaypha and Yokhanan and He said to them go prepare for us the Passover to eat [8]And Jesus sent Cephas and John, and said to them; Go, prepare for us the passover, that we may eat it.
[9]They but said to Him where? desire You us to prepare it [9]And they said to him: Where wilt thou, that we prepare?
[10]He said to them behold when enter you the city shall meet you a man who bears a jug of water go after him [10]He said to them: Lo, when ye enter the city, there will a man meet you, bearing a vessel of water. Go after him;
[11]And wherever he enters say to the owner of the house our Rabbi says is there? a place of dwelling where? I may eat Passover with My disciples [11]and where he entereth, say ye to the lord of the house: Our Rabbi saith, Is there a place of refreshment, in which I may eat the Passover, with my disciples?
[12]And behold he shall show to you upper room one great that is furnished there prepare [12]And lo, he will show you a large upper room that is furnished; there prepare ye.
[13]And they went and they found as He told them and they prepared the Passover [13]And they went, and found as he had said to them: and they made ready the passover.
[14]And when it was time came Ieshu and He reclined and twelve the apostles with Him [14]And when the time arrived, Jesus came and reclined; and the twelve Legates with him.
[15]And He said to them desiring I have desired that this Passover I should eat with you before I shall suffer [15]And he said to them: I have greatly desired to eat this passover with you, before I suffer.
[16]Say I to you for from now not I shall eat it until it shall be fulfilled in the Kingdom of Alaha [16]For I say to you, That henceforth I shall not eat it, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
[17]And He took a cup and He gave thanks and He said take this and divide it among yourselves [17][And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said: Take this, and divide it among you.]
[18]Say I for to you that not I shall drink from the fruit of the vine until shall come the Kingdom of Alaha [18][For I say to you, That I shall not drink of the product of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.]
[19]And He took bread and He gave thanks and He broke and He gave to them and He said this is My body which for the sake of your persons shall be given this you shall be doing to commemorate Me [19]And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to them, and said: This is my body, which is given for your sakes. This do ye, in remembrance of me.
[20]And thus also about the cup from after they had dined He said this cup the covenant new in My blood which for your sakes shall be shed [20]And in like manner also concerning the cup, after they had supped, he said: This cup is the new testament in my blood, which, for your sakes, is poured out !
[21]However behold the hand of him who shall betray Me is on the table [21]But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is on the table.
[22]And The Son of Man goes just as it was appointed yet woe! to that man by whose hand He shall be betrayed [22]And the Son of man goeth, as it was determined; but woe to that man, by whom he is betrayed.
[23]And they began to inquire among themselves who? indeed of them he was who this was going to commit [23]And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was, that would do this.
[24]There was but also a dispute among them of who was among them great [24]And there was contention also among them, who among them would be greatest.
[25]He but Ieshu said to them the kings of the nations their lords are and they ruling over them doers of good are called [25]And Jesus said to them: The kings of the nations, are their lords; and those exercising authority over them, are called benefactors.
[26]You are but not so but whoever is great among you shall be as the small and whoever chief is shall be like a waiter [26]But ye, not so: but he that is great among you, must be as the least; and he that is chief, as the servitor.
[27]Who is? for greater he who sits or he who serves dinner not? is it he who sits I but am among you as He who serves dinner [27]For, which is the greater, he that reclineth, or he that serveth? Is not he that reclineth? But I am among you, as he that serveth.
[28]You are but they who have remained with Me in My trials [28]Ye are they who have continued with me in my trials:
[29]And I promising am you as promised Me My Father a kingdom [29]and I promise to you, as my Father hath promised to me, a kingdom:
[30]That you shall eat and you shall drink at the table of Kingdom My and you shall sit on thrones and you shall judge twelve the tribes of Israel [30]that ye may eat and drink at the table of my kingdom, and may sit on thrones, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.
[31]And said Ieshu to Shimeon Shimeon behold Satan has requested that he may sift you like wheat [31]And Jesus said to Simon: Simon, lo, Satan hath desired to sift thee, as wheat:
[32]And I have prayed for you that not shall fail your faith also you in the time it is restored confirm your brethren [32]but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith may not fail. And thou also, in time, turn; and confirm thy brethren.
[33]Shimeon but said to Him my Lord with You prepared I am even for the house of prisoners and for death [33]And Simon said to him: My Lord, with thee I am ready, both for prison and for death.
[34]Said to him Ieshu say I to you Shimeon that not shall crow a rooster today until three times you shall deny that know you Me [34]Jesus said to him: 1 tell thee, Simon, the cock will not crow this day, until thou hast three times denied that thou knowest me.
[35]And He said to them when I sent you without moneybag and without wallet and shoes was? there lacking to you anything they were saying to Him and not anything [35]And he said to them: When I sent you without purses, without wallets and shoes, lacked ye any thing? They say to him: Nothing.
[36]He said to them from this hour whoever has to him a moneybag should take it and thus also a wallet and whoever lacks to him a sword let him sell his tunic and buy for himself a sword [36]He said to them: Henceforth, let him that hath a purse, take it; and so likewise a wallet. And let him that hath no sword, sell his garment, and buy himself a sword.
[37]Say I to you for that also this that is written must be fulfilled in Me with evil doers He was numbered all for that concerns Me shall be fulfilled [37]For I say to you, That this also, which was written, must be fulfilled in me: I shall be numbered with transgressors. For, all that relates to me, will be fulfilled.
[38]And they were saying to Him our Lord behold here are two swords He said to them they are enough [38]And they said to him: Our Lord, lo, here are two swords. He said to them: They are sufficient.
[39]And He went out and He went on as accustomed he was to the Mount D'Byth Zytha and went after him also His disciples [39]And he went out, and proceeded, as was his custom, to the mount of the place of Olives; and his disciples followed him.
[40]And when He arrived at the place He said to them pray lest you enter temptation [40]And when he arrived at the place, he said to them: Pray ye, that ye enter not into temptation.
[41]And He withdrew from them about a throw stone's and He bowed His knees and prayed He [41]And he retired from them, about a stone's throw; and kneeled down, and prayed,
[42]And He said Father if are willing You let pass from Me cup this however not My will but Yours be done [42]and said: Father, if it please thee, let this cup pass from me. Yet not my pleasure, but thine, be done.
[43]And appeared to Him an angel from Heaven who strengthened Him [43]And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, who strengthened him.
[44]And as He was in fear urgently prayed He and was His sweat like drops of blood and He fell upon the ground [44]And as he was in fear, he prayed earnestly; and his sweat was like drops of blood; and it fell on the ground.
[45]And He arose from His prayer and He came to His disciples and He found them while they were sleeping from the anguish [45]And he arose from his prayer, and came to his disciples: and he found them sleeping, from sorrow.
[46]And He said to them why? sleeping are you arise pray lest you enter temptation [46]And he said to them: Why sleep ye? Arise, and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
[47]And while He was speaking behold a crowd and he who is called Yehuda one of the twelve came he went before them and he came to Ieshu and he kissed Him this one for a sign given had to them whomever kiss I is He [47]And while he was speaking, lo, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, came at their head. And he came up to Jesus, and kissed him. For he had given them this sign: Whom I shall kiss, he it is.
[48]Said to him Ieshu Yehuda with a kiss? betray you Him The Son of Man [48]Jesus said to him: Judas, is it with a kiss thou betrayest the Son of man?
[49]When saw but those who with Him the thing that occurred they were saying to Him our Lord shall we strike? them with swords [49]And when they that were with him, saw what occurred, they said to him: Our Lord, shall we smite them with the sword?
[50]And struck one of them the servant of High The Priest and took it off his ear of his right side [50]And one of them smote a servant of the high priest, and took off his right ear.
[51]Answered but Ieshu and He said enough for now and he touched the ear of him who was wounded and He healed him [51]And Jesus answered and said: Sufficient, thus far. And he touched the ear of him that was smitten, and healed him.
[52]And said Ieshu to those who had come upon Him Chief Priests and Elders and Commanders of the army of the temple as? upon a robber you went out for Me with swords and with clubs to seize Me [52]And Jesus said to those who had come upon him, the chief priests and Elders and military captains of the temple: Have ye come out against me, as against a robber, with swords, and with clubs, to take me?
[53]Every day with you I was in the temple and not you stretched forth against Me hands but this is your hour and of the Prince of Darkness [53]I was with you daily in the temple, and ye laid not hands upon me. But this is your hour, and the reign of darkness.
[54]And they seized they brought Him to the house of the High Priest and Shimeon coming was after Him from a distance [54]And they took him, and conducted him to the house of the high priest. And Simon followed after him, at a distance.
[55]They kindled but a fire in the midst of the courtyard and sitting they were around it and sitting was also he Shimeon among them [55]And they kindled a fire in the middle of the court, and sat around it; and Simon also sat among them.
[56]And saw him a maidservant a certain as he sat at the fire and she stared at him and she said also this man with Him was [56]And a certain maid saw him sitting at the fire, and she looked upon him, and said: This man also was with him.
[57]He but denied and he said woman not know I Him [57]But he denied, and said: Woman, I have not known him.
[58]And after a little while saw him another and he said to him also you of them are Kaypha but said not I am [58]And a little after, another [person] saw him, and said to him: Thou too art one of them. And Cephas said: I am not.
[59]And after hour one another disputing was and he said surely also this man with Him was also a Galilean he is for [59]And an hour after, another contended and said: Certainly, this man also was with him, for he likewise is a Galilean.
[60]Said Kaypha man not know I what? saying you are and at once while he was speaking crowed a rooster [60]Cephas said: Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he was speaking, the cock crew.
[61]And turned Ieshu and He gazed at Kaypha and remembered Shimeon the saying of our Lord that told He had him that before shall crow a rooster you shall deny Me three times [61]And Jesus turned, and looked upon Cephas. And Simon remembered the word of our Lord, which he spoke to him: Before the cock shall crow, thou wilt deny me three times.
[62]And went out outside Shimeon he wept bitterly [62]And Simon went out, and wept bitterly.
[63]And the men who holding were Ieshu mocking were Him and covering they were Him [63]And the men who had taken Jesus, insulted him , and blinded him,
[64]And striking they were Him on His face and they were saying prophesy who? strikes You [64]and smote him on his face, and said: Prophesy thou, who smote thee?
[65]And other things many blaspheming they were and they were speaking against Him [65]And many other things they revilingly uttered, and spoke against him.
[66]And when day had dawned were gathered The Elders and Chief The Priests and The Scribes and they brought Him to the place of their assembly [66]And when the day dawned, the Elders and chief priests and Scribes assembled together; and they led him to the place of their meeting,
[67]And they were saying to Him if You are The Messiah tell us He said to them if I tell you not you will believe Me [67]and said to him: If thou art the Messiah, tell us. He said to them: If I tell you, ye will not believe in me.
[68]And if I will ask you not will return you to Me an answer nor will release you Me [68]And if I should ask you, ye will not return me an answer; nor will ye release me.
[69]From this hour shall be The Son of Man sitting at the right side of the power of Alaha [69]From this time, the Son of man will sit on the right hand of the majesty of God.
[70]They were saying but all of them You? are therefore The Son of Alaha said to them Ieshu you saying are that I AM The Living Alaha [70]And they all said: Thou art then, the Son of God? Jesus said to them: Ye say that I am.
[71]They were saying why? again are needed to us witnesses we for are hearing from His mouth [71]They say: What further need have we of witnesses? For we have heard from his own mouth.
