[1]The beginning of the gospel of Ieshu The Messiah the Son of Alaha [1]THE beginning of the gospel of Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.
[2]As it is written in Isaiah the prophet behold shall send I My messenger before your presence to prepare your way [2]As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way.
[3]A voice that cries in the wilderness prepare the way of The Lord the Lord and make level His paths [3]The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare ye the way of the Lord; make smooth his paths.
[4]Was Yohanan in the wilderness baptizing and preaching the baptism of repentance for the release of sins [4]John baptized in the wilderness, and proclaimed the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
[5]And going out were to him all the country of Judea and all the children of Jerusalem and baptized he them in the Jordan when they confessed their sins [5]And there went out to him all the region of Judaea, and all the people of Jerusalem; and he baptized them in the river Jordan, while they confessed their sins.
[6]The same but Yohanan clothed was with clothing of hair of the camel and bound he was with a belt of leather at his waist and his food it was locusts and honey of the field [6]And this John was clad in raiment of camels' hair; and was girded with a cincture of skin about his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
[7]And preaching he was and he said behold shall come after me He Who mightier than I is of Whom not worthy I am to stoop to loose the strap of His sandals [7]And he proclaimed, and said: Behold, after me cometh one more powerful than I, of whom I am not worthy to stoop and untie the fastenings of his shoes.
[8]I have immersed you in water He but will immerse you in The Spirit of Holiness [8]I have baptized you with water; but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
[9]And it was in days those came Ieshu from Nazareth of Galila and was immersed in the Jordan by Yohanan [9]And it occurred, in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and was baptized in Jordan by John.
[10]And at once as He came up from the waters He saw that were ripped opened the heavens and The Spirit as a dove Who was descending upon Him [10]And immediately on his coming from the water, he saw the heavens cleft, and the Spirit descending like a dove upon him.
[11]And a voice there was from the heavens You are My Son beloved with you I am delighted [11]And there was a voice from the heavens: Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I delight.
[12]And at once drove Him The Spirit into the wilderness [12]And directly the Spirit carried him into the wilderness:
[13]And he was there in the wilderness days forty when being tempted by Satan and he was with the animals and ministering were to Him the angels [13]and he was there in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild beasts; and angels ministered to him.
[14]After was delivered up but Yohanan came to it Ieshu to Galila and preaching was the gospel of the kingdom of Alaha [14]After John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, and proclaimed the tidings, of the kingdom of God,
[15]And He said has come to an end of itself time and has arrived the kingdom of Alaha repent and believe in the good news [15]and said: The time is completed, and the kingdom of God is near. Repent ye, and believe the tidings.
[16]And when He walked around the Sea of Galila He saw Shimeon and Andraeus his brother who were casting a net into the sea they were for fishermen [16]And as he walked near the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
[17]And said to them Ieshu come after Me and I will make you fishers of the children of men [17]And Jesus said to them: Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.
[18]And at once they left their nets and they went after Him [18]And immediately they left their nets, and went after him.
[19]And when He passed by a little He saw Yaqob son of Zebedee and Yohanan his brother and also those in the ship who were setting in order their nets [19]And as he passed on a little, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in a ship, and mending their nets.
[20]And he called them and at once they left Zebedee their father in the boat with the hired servants and they went after Him [20]And he called them: and immediately they left Zebedee their father in the ship, with the hired servants, and went after him.
[21]And when they entered Kapernakhum at once taught He on the Sabbath in their synagogue [21]And when they entered Capernaum, he immediately taught on the sabbath in their synagogues.
[22]And dumbfounded they were at His teaching teaching He was them for as one having authority and not like their scribes [22]And they were astonished at his doctrine; for he taught them, as having authority, and not as their Scribes.
[23]And there was in their synagogue a man who had in him a spirit vile and he cried out [23]And in their synagogue was a man, in whom was an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
[24]And he said what? to us and to You Ieshu Nazarene have You come? to destroy us know I You Who You are The Holy One of Alaha [24]and said: What have we to do with thee? Jesus thou Nazarean. Hast thou come to destroy us? I know thee, who thou art, the Holy One of God.
[25]And rebuked him Ieshu and said shut your mouth and come out from him [25]And Jesus rebuked him, and said: Shut thy mouth, and come out of him.
[26]And threw him down the spirit foul and he cried out in a voice loud and came out of him [26]And the unclean spirit threw him down, and cried with a loud voice, and came out of him.
[27]And were astonished all of them and inquiring they were one with another and they were saying what? is this and what is? teaching this new for with authority and even the spirits foul He commands and they obey Him [27]And they were all amazed, and inquired one of another, and said: What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they obey him.
[28]And at once went out His fame in the whole region of Galila [28]And immediately his fame spread into all the land of Galilee.
[29]And they went out from the synagogue and they came to the house of Shimeon and Andraeus with Yaqob and Yohanan [29]And he retired from the synagogue, and entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
[30]And the Mother-in-law of Shimeon lying ill was with fever and they told Him about her [30]And Simon's mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever: and they told him about her.
[31]And he came near took her by her hand and raised her up and at once left her her fever and waiting she was on them [31]And he came, and took her hand, and raised her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them.
[32]In the evening but at the going down of the sun they brought to Him all of them who ill had been and the demon possessed [32]And in the evening at the setting of the sun, they brought to him all them that were diseased, and demoniacs.
[33]And the city whole assembled was at the door [33]And all the city was collected at the door.
[34]And He healed multitudes who ill become had with diseases various and evil spirits many He cast out and not allow He did them the evil spirits to speak because know they did Him [34]And he healed many who labored under divers diseases, and cast out many demons; and he suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him.
[35]And in the morning early He arose very and went on to a place desolate and there prayed He [35]And in the morning, he rose much before others, and retired to a solitary place, and there prayed.
[36]And seeking were for him Shimeon and His companions [36]And Simon and his associates sought for him.
[37]And when they found Him they were saying to Him all of them the people are seeking You [37]And when they found him, they said to him: Every body is seeking for thee.
[38]He said to them walk to the villages and to the cities near to us so that also there I may preach because of this for I have come [38]And he said to them: Go into the adjacent villages and towns; for there also I will preach, because therefore have I come.
[39]And preaching He was in all their synagogues in all Galila and casting out demons [39]And he preached in all their synagogues, in all Galilee, and cast out demons.
[40]And came to Him a leper and fell at His feet and begged he of Him and said to Him if are willing You are able You to make me clean [40]And a leper came to him, and fell at his feet, and entreated him, and said to him: If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
[41]Himself but Ieshu was moved with compassion for him and reaching out His hand He touched him and He said willing I am be cleansed [41]And Jesus had compassion on him, and stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said: I will; be thou clean.
[42]And in it in the moment went his leprosy from him and he was cleansed [42]And in that hour, his leprosy departed from him, and he became clean.
[43]And He reproved him and sent him out [43]And he charged him, and sent him away,
[44]And He said to him see that not a man tell you but go show yourself to the priest and bring gifts for the sake of your being cleansed just as commanded Moshe for their testimony [44]and he said to him: See that thou tell no person; but go, show thyself to the priests, and offer an oblation on account of thy purification, as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
[45]He but when he went out began he preaching much and he reported the event so that not able was Ieshu openly to enter the cities but outside He was in places deserted and coming they were to Him from every place [45]And he, as he went out, began to proclaim [it] much, and to divulge the matter; so that Jesus could not openly go into the city, but was without, in desert places; and they came to him from every quarter.
