| [1]בהנונ דינ יומתא כד כנשׁא סגיאא אית הוא ולא אית הוא מדמ דנאכלונ קרא לתלמידוהי ואמר להונ |
[1]In those but days when a crowd great ? there was and not ? was anything for them to eat He called His disciples and He said to them |
| [2]מתרחמ אנא על כנשׁא הנא דהא תלתא יומינ קויו לותי ולית להונ מנא נאכלונ |
[2]Have pity I on crowd this for behold three days they have continued with Me and there is not for them something they may eat |
| [3]ואנ הו דשׁרא אנא להונ כד צימינ לבתיהונ עיפינ באורחא אנשׁא גיר מנהונ מנ רוחקא אתיאינ |
[3]And if it is that send away I them when they are fasting to their houses they will faint in the road people for among them from afar have come |
| [4]אמרינ לה תלמידוהי אימכא משׁכח אנשׁ הרכא בחורבא דנסבע לחמא להלינ כלהונ |
[4]Were saying to Him His disciples from where? is able a man here in the desert to supply enough bread for these all of them |
| [5]ושׁאל אנונ הו כמא לחמינ אית לכונ אמרינ לה שׁבעא |
[5]Asked them He how many? loaves are to you they were saying to Him seven |
| [6]ופקד לכנשׁא דנסתמכונ על ארעא ונסב הנונ שׁבעא לחמינ וברכ וקצא ויהב לתלמידוהי דנסימונ וסמו לכנשׁא |
[6]And He commanded the crowds to recline on the ground and He took those seven loaves and blessed and broke and He gave to His disciples that they may be set out and they set them out to the crowd |
| [7]ואית הוו נונא קליל ואפ עליהונ ברכ ואמר דנסימונ אנונ |
[7]? and there were fish a few and also over them He blessed and said that they may set out them |
| [8]ואכלו וסבעו ושׁקלו תותרא דקציא שׁבעא אספרידינ |
[8]And they ate and they were filled and they took up the leftovers of fragments seven baskets |
| [9]איתיהונ הוו דינ אנשׁא דאכלו איכ ארבעא אלפינ |
[9]? there were but men who ate about four thousand |
| [10]ושׁרא אנונ וסלק מחדא לספינתא עמ תלמידוהי ואתא לאתרא דדלמנותא |
[10]And He sent away them and came up at once to the ship with His disciples and came to the region of Dalmanutha |
| [11]ונפקו פרישׁא ושׁריו למבעא עמה ושׁאלינ הוו לה אתא מנ שׁמיא כד מנסינ לה |
[11]And they came out the Pharisees and they began to inquire with Him and asking they were Him a sign from heaven while tempting Him |
| [12]ואתתנח ברוחה ואמר מנא בעיא אתא שׁרבתא הדא אמינ אמר אנא לכונ דלא תתיהב לה אתא לשׁרבתא הדא |
[12]And He groaned in His Spirit and He said why? does seek a sign generation this amen say I to you that not shall be given to it a sign to generation this |
| [13]ושׁבק אנונ וסלק לספינתא ואזלו להו עברא |
[13]And He left them and boarded the ship and they went to that other side |
| [14]וטעו דנסבונ לחמא ואלא חדא גריצתא לית הוא עמהונ בספינתא |
[14]They had forgotten to take bread and except for one cake there nothing was with them in the ship |
| [15]ופקד אנונ ואמר להונ חזו אזדהרו מנ חמירא דפרישׁא ומנ חמירה דהרודס |
[15]And He commanded them and said to them Behold beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the leaven of Herodus |
| [16]ומתחשׁבינ הוו חד עמ חד ואמרינ דלחמא לית לנ |
[16]And reasoning they were one with another and they were saying it is because bread there is not for us |
| [17]ישׁוע דינ ידע ואמר להונ מנא רנינ אנתונ דלחמא לית לכונ לא עדמא להשׁא ידעינ אנתונ ולא מסתכלינ אנתונ עדכיל לבא קשׁיא אית לכונ |
[17]Ieshu but knew and He said to them why? considering are you that bread there is no for you not? until now knowing are you and not? understanding are you still the heart hard is to you |
| [18]ועינא אית לכונ ולא חזינ אנתונ ואדנא אית לכונ ולא שׁמעינ אנתונ ולא עהדינ אנתונ |
[18]And eyes are with you and not? seeing you are and ears are with you and not? hearing you are and not? remembering you are |
| [19]כד הלינ חמשׁא לחמינ קצית לחמשׁא אלפינ כמא קופינינ דקציא כד מלינ שׁקלתונ אמרינ לה תרעסר |
[19]When those five loaves I broke for the five thousand how many? baskets of fragments after they were full did you take up they were saying to Him twelve |
| [20]אמר להונ וכד שׁבעא לארבעא אלפינ כמא אספרידינ דקציא כד מלינ שׁקלתונ אמרינ שׁבעא |
[20]He said to them and when the seven to the four thousand how many? baskets of fragments when they were full did you take up they were saying seven |
| [21]אמר להונ איכו לא עדמא להשׁא מסתכלינ אנתונ |
[21]He said to them How is it? not until this hour understanding you are |
| [22]ואתא לבית-צידא ואיתיו לה סמיא ובעינ הוו מנה דנקרוב לה |
[22]And He came to Bayth-Tsayda and they brought to Him a blind man and begging they were from Him that He would touch him |
| [23]ואחד באידה דסמיא ואפקה לבר מנ קריתא ורק בעינוהי וסמ אידה ושׁאלה דמנא חזא |
[23]And He grasped the hand of the blind man and took him outside of the town and He spat in his eyes and laid on His hand and He asked him what he saw |
| [24]חר ואמר חזא אנא בני אנשׁא איכ אילנא דמהלכינ |
[24]He gazed and he said see I children of men like trees that are walking |
| [25]תוב סמ אידה על עינוהי ותקנ וחזא הוא כל מדמ נהיראית |
[25]Again He laid His hand on his eyes and he was healed and saw he every thing clearly |
| [26]ושׁדרה לביתה ואמר אפ לא לקריתא תעול ולא תאמר לאנשׁ בקריתא |
[26]And He sent him to his house and He said ? neither to the town will you enter nor will you tell a person in the town |
| [27]ונפק ישׁוע ותלמידוהי לקוריא דקסריא-דפיליפוס ומשׁאל הוא לתלמידוהי באורחא ואמר להונ מנו אמרינ עלי אנשׁא דאיתי |
[27]And went out Ieshu and His disciples to the villages of Qasria-D'Phillipus and asking He was His disciples in the road and He said to them what is it are saying about Me the people Who I am? |
| [28]הנונ דינ אמרו דיוחננ מעמדנא ואחרנא דאליא ואחרנא חד מנ נביא |
[28]Some but they said that Yokhanan the Baptizer and others that Elia and others one of the prophets |
| [29]אמר להונ ישׁוע אנתונ דינ מנו אמרינ אנתונ עלי דאיתי ענא שׁמעונ ואמר לה אנת הו משׁיחא ברה דאלהא חיא |
[29]And said to them Ieshu you but what is it? are saying you about Me Who I am answered Shimeon and he said to Him You are The Messiah the Son of Alaha The Living One |
| [30]וכאא בהונ דלאנשׁ לא נאמרונ עלוהי |
[30]And He admonished them that to a person not they should speak about Him |
| [31]ושׁרי הוא למלפו אנונ דעתיד הו ברה דאנשׁא דנחשׁ סגי ודנסתלא מנ קשׁישׁא ומנ רבי כהנא ומנ ספרא ונתקטל ולתלתא יומינ נקומ |
[31]And began He to teach them that was prepared He the Son of Man that He would suffer many things and that He would be rejected from the elders and from chief the priests and from the scribes and He would be killed and in three days He would rise |
| [32]ועינ בגלא מלתא ממלל הוא ודברה כאפא ושׁרי למכאא בה |
[32]And an eye in the open the word speaking He was and took Him aside Kaypha and he began to rebuke Him |
| [33]הו דינ אתפני וחר בתלמידוהי וכאא בשׁמעונ ואמר זל לכ לבסתרי סטנא דלא רנא אנת דאלהא אלא דבני אנשׁא |
[33]He but turned and gazed at His disciples and rebuked Shimeon and said go you behind Me Satan for not reason you of Alaha but of the children of men |
| [34]וקרא ישׁוע לכנשׁא עמ תלמידוהי ואמר להונ מנ דצבא דנאתא בתרי נכפור בנפשׁה ונשׁקול זקיפה ונאתא בתרי |
[34]And He called Ieshu the crowds with His disciples and He said to them whoever is willing that he shall come after Me let him renounce himself and let him take up his cross and let him come after Me |
| [35]כל מנ דצבא גיר דנחא נפשׁה נובדיה וכל דנובד נפשׁה מטלתי ומטל סברתי נחיה |
[35]Everyone whoever is willing for that he should save his soul will lose it and everyone who will lose his life for Me and for My gospel he will save it |
| [36]מנא גיר נתעדר ברנשׁא אנ עלמא כלה נאתר ונפשׁה נחסר |
[36]How? for is benefited a son of man if the world the whole he should gain and his soul he should lose |
| [37]או מנא נתל ברנשׁא תחלופא דנפשׁה |
[37]Or what? shall give a son of man exchange for his soul |
| [38]כל גיר דנבהת בי ובמלי בשׁרבתא הדא חטיתא וגירתא ואפ ברה דאנשׁא נבהת בה מא דאתא בשׁובחא דאבוהי עמ מלאכוהי קדישׁא |
[38]Everyone for who shall be ashamed of Me and of my words in generation this sinning and adultery commiting also The Son of Man shall be ashamed of him whenever He comes in the glory of His Father with His angels holy |
