Vulgata Clementina (1592)
Vul
[1]And He called twelve His disciples and He gave to them authority over spirits filthy to cast them out and to heal every ailment and disease [1]Et convocatis duodecim discipulis suis, dedit illis potestatem spirituum immundorum, ut ejicerent eos, et curarent omnem languorem, et omnem infirmitatem.
[2]Their but of the twelve apostles names were these the first of them Shimeon which is called The Stone and Andraus his brother and Yaqob son of Zebedee and Yohanan his brother [2]Duodecim autem Apostolorum nomina sunt hæc. Primus, Simon, qui dicitur Petrus: et Andreas frater ejus,
[3]And Phillipus and Bar-Tolmay and Thoma and Mattai the tax collector and Yaqob son of Halphi and Lebai who was called Thadi [3]Jacobus Zebedæi, et Joannes frater ejus, Philippus, et Bartholomæus, Thomas, et Matthæus publicanus, Jacobus Alphæi, et Thaddæus,
[4]And Shimeon the Zealot and Yehuda Skariota he who betrayed Him [4]Simon Chananæus, et Judas Iscariotes, qui et tradidit eum.
[5]These twelve sent Ieshu and He commanded them and He said by a road of the heathen not you shall go and to a city of the Samaritans not you shall enter [5]Hos duodecim misit Jesus, præcipiens eis, dicens: In viam gentium ne abieritis, et in civitates Samaritanorum ne intraveritis:
[6]Go you but especially to the sheep that have been lost from the house of Israel [6]sed potius ite ad oves quæ perierunt domus Israël.
[7]And when are going you preach and say that has come near the Kingdom of Heaven [7]Euntes autem prædicate, dicentes: Quia appropinquavit regnum cælorum.
[8]The sick heal and the lepers purify and demons cast out freely you have received freely give [8]Infirmos curate, mortuos suscitate, leprosos mundate, dæmones ejicite: gratis accepistis, gratis date.
[9]Not you shall retain gold neither silver nor copper in your money bags [9]Nolite possidere aurum, neque argentum, neque pecuniam in zonis vestris:
[10]Neither scrip for the way nor two coats neither shoes nor a staff worthy is for a laborer of his provisions [10]non peram in via, neque duas tunicas, neque calceamenta, neque virgam: dignus enim est operarius cibo suo.
[11]To whichever but city or village enter you it ask who is? worthy in it and there stay until leave you [11]In quamcumque autem civitatem aut castellum intraveritis, interrogate, quis in ea dignus sit: et ibi manete donec exeatis.
[12]And when enter you a household invoke the peace of the househould [12]Intrantes autem in domum, salutate eam, dicentes: Pax huic domui.
[13]And if that is worthy household your blessing of peace will come upon it if but not it is worthy your blessing of peace unto you will return [13]Et siquidem fuerit domus illa digna, veniet pax vestra super eam: si autem non fuerit digna, pax vestra revertetur ad vos.
[14]Whoever not but does receive you neither listens to your words when depart you from the house or from village that shake the sand from your feet [14]Et quicumque non receperit vos, neque audierit sermones vestros: exeunte foras de domo, vel civitate, excutite pulverem de pedibus vestris.
[15]And truly say I to you for land that of Sadom and of Ammora it will be tranquil in the day of judgment rather than for city that [15]Amen dico vobis: Tolerabilius erit terræ Sodomorum et Gomorrhæorum in die judicii, quam illi civitati.
[16]Behold I sending am you as lambs among wolves be therefore crafty as snakes and innocent as doves [16]Ecce ego mitto vos sicut oves in medio luporum. Estote ergo prudentes sicut serpentes, et simplices sicut columbæ.
[17]Be on guard but from the children of men they will deliver you for to the house of judgment and in their assemblies they will scourge you [17]Cavete autem ab hominibus. Tradent enim vos in conciliis, et in synagogis suis flagellabunt vos:
[18]And before governors and kings they will bring you for My sake for testimony their and that of the nations [18]et ad præsides, et ad reges ducemini propter me in testimonium illis, et gentibus.
[19]When but they arrest you not you shall be anxious how? or what? you will speak it will be given to you for in that hour whatever you should speak [19]Cum autem tradent vos, nolite cogitare quomodo, aut quid loquamini: dabitur enim vobis in illa hora, quid loquamini:
[20]Not it will be for you speaking but The Spirit of your Father speaking in you [20]non enim vos estis qui loquimini, sed Spiritus Patris vestri, qui loquitur in vobis.
[21]Will deliver but brother his brother to death and father his son and will rise children against their parents and they will put to death them [21]Tradet autem frater fratrem in mortem, et pater filium: et insurgent filii in parentes, et morte eos afficient:
[22]And you will be hated of everyman because of My Name whoever but will endure until the end he will be saved [22]et eritis odio omnibus propter nomen meum: qui autem perseveraverit usque in finem, hic salvus erit.
[23]When they persecute you but in city this flee you to another truly for say I to you that not you will have finished these all cities of the house of Israel until will come The Son of Man [23]Cum autem persequentur vos in civitate ista, fugite in aliam. Amen dico vobis, non consummabitis civitates Israël, donec veniat Filius hominis.
[24]There is not a disciple greater than his master neither a servant than his lord [24]Non est discipulus super magistrum, nec servus super dominum suum:
[25]It is enough for him for a disciple that he would be like his master and for a servant like his lord if the lord of the house they have called Beelzebub more how much? the children of his household [25]sufficit discipulo ut sit sicut magister ejus, et servo, sicut dominus ejus. Si patremfamilias Beelzebub vocaverunt, quanto magis domesticos ejus?
[26]Not therefore you shall be afraid of them there is not for anything covered that not will be revealed and hidden that not will be known [26]Ne ergo timueritis eos. Nihil enim est opertum, quod non revelabitur: et occultum, quod non scietur.
[27]Whatever tell I to you in the darkness say it you in the light and anything that with your ears hear you preach on the rooftops [27]Quod dico vobis in tenebris, dicite in lumine: et quod in aure auditis, prædicate super tecta.
[28]And not you shall be afraid of those who kill the body the soul but not are able to kill be afraid but rather of Him which can what is soulish and the body destroy in Gehenna [28]Et nolite timere eos qui occidunt corpus, animam autem non possunt occidere: sed potius timete eum, qui potest et animam et corpus perdere in gehennam.
[29]Not two sparrows are sold for a penny and one of them apart from your Father not falls on the ground [29]Nonne duo passeres asse veneunt? et unus ex illis non cadet super terram sine Patre vestro.
[30]Your but also hairs of your head all numbered are [30]Vestri autem capilli capitis omnes numerati sunt.
[31]Not therefore you shall be afraid than sparrows many are greater you [31]Nolite ergo timere: multis passeribus meliores estis vos.
[32]Everyone therefore who will confess Me before children of men I shall confess him also I before My Father Who is in Heaven [32]Omnis ergo qui confitebitur me coram hominibus, confitebor et ego eum coram Patre meo, qui in cælis est.
[33]Whoever but will deny Me before children of men I shall deny him also I before My Father in Heaven [33]Qui autem negaverit me coram hominibus, negabo et ego eum coram Patre meo, qui in cælis est.
[34]Not think that I have come to bring peace in the earth not I have come to bring peace but a sword [34]Nolite arbitrari quia pacem venerim mittere in terram: non veni pacem mittere, sed gladium:
[35]I have come for to divide a man against his father and a daughter against her mother and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law [35]veni enim separare hominem adversus patrem suum, et filiam adversus matrem suam, et nurum adversus socrum suam:
[36]And the enemies of a man will be the children of his household [36]et inimici hominis, domestici ejus.
[37]Whoever loves father or mother more than Me not is worthy to Me and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me not is worthy to Me [37]Qui amat patrem aut matrem plus quam me, non est me dignus: et qui amat filium aut filiam super me, non est me dignus.
[38]And everyone who does not take his cross and come after Me not is worthy to Me [38]Et qui non accipit crucem suam, et sequitur me, non est me dignus.
[39]And whoever will lose his life-himself for My sake will find it whoever will find his life-himself will lose it [39]Qui invenit animam suam, perdet illam: et qui perdiderit animan suam propter me, inveniet eam.
[40]Whoever receives you Me receives and whoever Me receives Him Who sent Me receives [40]Qui recipit vos, me recipit: et qui me recipit, recipit eum qui me misit.
[41]Whoever receives a prophet in the name of The Prophet a reward of The Prophet receives and whoever receives a righteous one in the Name of The Righteous One a reward of The Righteous One receives [41]Qui recipit prophetam in nomine prophetæ, mercedem prophetæ accipiet: et qui recipit justum in nomine justi, mercedem justi accipiet.
[42]And everyone who gives a drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water alone in the name of a disciple amen say I to you that not he will lose his reward [42]Et quicumque potum dederit uni ex minimis istis calicem aquæ frigidæ tantum in nomine discipuli: amen dico vobis, non perdet mercedem suam.
