[1]THE LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the first month of the second year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, |
| [2]εἶπονVB-AAD2S καίC ποιέωV2-PAD3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-ASN πασχαN--ASN κατάP ὥραN1A-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSN |
[2]Let the children of Israel keep the passover at its appointed time. |
| [3]ὁRA-DSF οςτεσσαρεσκαιδέκατA1-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὁRA-GSM μήνN3-GSM ὁRA-GSM πρῶτοςA1-GSMS πρόςP ἑσπέραN1A-ASF ποιέωVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASN κατάP καιρόςN2-APM κατάP ὁRA-ASM νόμοςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSN καίC κατάP ὁRA-ASF σύγκρισιςN3I-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM ποιέωVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASN |
[3]On the fourteenth day of this month, in the evening, you shall keep it at its appointed time; according to all its rites, and according to all its ceremonies, shall you keep it. |
| [4]καίC λαλέωVAI-AAI3S *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ποιέωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN πασχαN--ASN |
[4]And Moses told the children of Israel that they should keep the passover. |
| [5]ἐνἄρχωV1-PMPGSM ὁRA-DSF οςτεσσαρεσκαιδέκατA1-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὁRA-GSM μήνN3-GSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἔρημοςN2-DSF ὁRA-GSM *σιναN--GS καθάD συντάσσωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-DSM *μωυσῆςN1M-DSM οὕτωςD ποιέωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[5]And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel. |
| [6]καίC παραγίγνομαιVBI-AMI3P ὁRA-NPM ἀνήρN3-NPM ὅςRR-NPM εἰμίV9-IAI3P ἀκάθαρτοςA1B-NPM ἐπίP ψυχήN1-DSF ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM καίC οὐD δύναμαιV6I-IMI3P ποιέωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN πασχαN--ASN ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF καίC προςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P ἐναντίονP *μωυσῆςN1M-GSM καίC *ἀαρώνN--GSM ἐνP ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF |
[6]And there were certain men who were defiled by touching the dead body of a man so that they could not keep the passover on that day; and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day. |
| [7]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM ἀνήρN3-NPM ἐκεῖνοςRD-NPM πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐγώRP-NP ἀκάθαρτοςA1B-NPM ἐπίP ψυχήN1-DSF ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM μήD οὖνX ὑστερέωVA-AAS1P προςφέρωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN δῶρονN2N-ASN κύριοςN2-DSM κατάP καιρόςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[7]And those men said unto them, We are defiled by touching the dead body of a man; why are we kept back from offering the offering of the LORD at the appointed time among the children of Israel? |
| [8]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-APM *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ἵστημιVH-AAD2P αὐτοῦD καίC ἀκούωVF-FMI1S τίςRI-ASN ἐντελέωV2-PMI3S κύριοςN2-NSM περίP σύRP-GP |
[8]And Moses said to them, Stay where you are, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you. |
| [9]καίC λαλέωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
[9]And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, |
| [10]λαλέωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM ὅςRR-NSM ἐάνC γίγνομαιVB-AMS3S ἀκάθαρτοςA1B-NSM ἐπίP ψυχήN1-DSF ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM ἤC ἐνP ὁδόςN2-DSF μακράνD σύRP-DP ἤC ἐνP ὁRA-DPF γενεάN1A-DPF σύRP-GP καίC ποιέωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASN πασχαN--ASN κύριοςN2-DSM |
[10]Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by touching a dead body, or is on a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover to the LORD. |
| [11]ἐνP ὁRA-DSM μήνN3-DSM ὁRA-DSM δεύτεροςA1A-DSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF οςτεσσαρεσκαιδέκατA1-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὁRA-ASN πρόςP ἑσπέραN1A-ASF ποιέωVF-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASN ἐπίP ἄζυμοςA1B-GPM καίC πικρίςN3D-GPF ἐσθίωVF-FMI3P αὐτόςRD-ASN |
[11]On the fourteenth day of the second month at the evening they shall keep it, and shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. |
| [12]οὐD καταλείπωVF-FAI3P ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD καίC ὀστέονN2N-ASN οὐD συντρίβωVF-FAI3P ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GSM κατάP ὁRA-ASM νόμοςN2-ASM ὁRA-GSN πασχαN--GSN ποιέωVF-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASN |
[12]They shall leave none of it to the morning, nor break any bone of it; according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it. |
| [13]καίC ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM ὅςRR-NSM ἐάνC καθαρόςA1A-NSM εἰμίV9-PAS3S καίC ἐνP ὁδόςN2-DSF μακρόςA1A-DSF οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S καίC ὑστερέωVA-AAS3S ποιέωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN πασχαN--ASN ἐκὀλεθρεύωVC-FPI3S ὁRA-NSF ψυχήN1-NSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-NSF ἐκP ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSF ὅτιC ὁRA-ASN δῶρονN2N-ASN κύριοςN2-DSM οὐD προςφέρωVAI-AAI3S κατάP ὁRA-ASM καιρόςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἁμαρτίαN1A-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM λαμβάνωVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM ἐκεῖνοςRD-NSM |
[13]But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and yet fails to keep the passover, at its appointed time, that person shall be cut off from among his people; because he brought not the offering of the LORD at its appointed time, that man shall suffer for his sin. |
| [14]ἐάνC δέX προςἔρχομαιVB-AAS3S πρόςP σύRP-AP προσήλυτοςN2-NSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF σύRP-GP καίC ποιέωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASN πασχαN--ASN κύριοςN2-DSM κατάP ὁRA-ASM νόμοςN2-ASM ὁRA-GSN πασχαN--GSN καίC κατάP ὁRA-ASF σύνταξιςN3I-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM ποιέωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASN νόμοςN2-NSM εἷςA3-NSM εἰμίVF-FMI3S σύRP-DP καίC ὁRA-DSM προσήλυτοςN2-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSN αὐτόχθωνN3N-DSM ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[14]And if a proselyte shall sojourn among you and will keep the passover to the LORD, according to the ordinance of the passover and according to its statutes, so shall he do; you shall have one ordinance, both for the proselyte and for the native of the land |
| [15]καίC ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὅςRR-DSF ἵστημιVCI-API3S ὁRA-NSF σκηνήN1-NSF καλύπτωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ὁRA-ASF σκηνήN1-ASF ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM ὁRA-GSN μαρτύριονN2N-GSN καίC ὁRA-ASN ἑσπέραN1A-GSF εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF σκηνήN1-GSF ὡςC εἶδοςN3E-NSN πῦρN3-GSN ἕωςC πρωΐD |
[15]And on the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle of the congregation; in front of the door of the tent of the testimony at evening there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. |
| [16]οὕτωςD γίγνομαιV1I-IMI3S διάP πᾶςA3-GSN ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF καλύπτωV1I-IAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF ἡμέραN1A-APF καίC εἶδοςN3E-NSN πῦρN3-GSN ὁRA-ASF νύξN3-ASF |
[16]So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night; |
| [17]καίC ἡνίκαD ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF σκηνήN1-GSF καίC μετάP οὗτοςRD-APN ἀποαἴρωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DSM τόποςN2-DSM οὗD ἄνX ἵστημιVHI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ἐκεῖD παρα ἐνβάλλωVBI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[17]And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, after that the children of Israel journeyed and at the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel encamped. |
| [18]διάP πρόσταγμαN3M-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM παρα ἐνβάλλωVF2-FAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC διάP πρόσταγμαN3M-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM ἀποαἴρωVF2-FAI3P πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF ἐνP ὅςRR-DPF σκιάζωV1-PAI3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF σκηνήN1-GSF παρα ἐνβάλλωVF2-FAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[18]At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they encamped; all the days that the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they remained in their tents. |
| [19]καίC ὅτανD ἐπιἕλκωV1-PMS3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF σκηνήN1-GSF ἡμέραN1A-APF πολύςA3C-APF καίC φυλάσσωVF-FMI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-ASF φυλακήN1-ASF ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM καίC οὐD μήD ἐκαἴρωVA-AAS3P |
[19]And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD and journeyed not. |
| [20]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὅτανD σκεπάζωVF-FAO3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ἡμέραN1A-APF ἀριθμόςN2-DSM ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF σκηνήN1-GSF διάP φωνήN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM παρα ἐνβάλλωVF2-FAI3P καίC διάP πρόσταγμαN3M-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM ἀποαἴρωVF2-FAI3P |
[20]Sometimes the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of the LORD they remained in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. |
| [21]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὅτανD γίγνομαιVB-AMS3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ἀπόP ἑσπέραN1A-GSF ἕωςC πρωΐD καίC ἀναβαίνωVZ-AAS3S ὁRA-NSF νεφέληN1-NSF ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD καίC ἀποαἴρωVF2-FAI3P ἡμέραN1A-GSF ἤC νύξN3-GSF |
[21]And sometimes the cloud was upon the tabernacle from evening to morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed; whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. |
| [22]μήνN3-GSM ἡμέραN1A-GSF πλεονάζωV1-PAPGSF ὁRA-GSF νεφέληN1-GSF σκιάζωV1-PAPGSF ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-GSF παρα ἐνβάλλωVF2-FAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC οὐD μήD ἀποαἴρωVA-AAS3P |
[22]And whether it was a few days or months or a year, as long as the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, resting thereon, the children of Israel remained in their tents and journeyed not; but when the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. |
| [23]ὅτιC διάP πρόσταγμαN3M-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM ἀποαἴρωVF2-FAI3P ὁRA-ASF φυλακήN1-ASF κύριοςN2-GSM φυλάσσωVAI-AMI3P διάP πρόσταγμαN3M-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM ἐνP χείρN3-DSF *μωυσῆςN1M-GSM |
[23]At the commandment of the LORD they encamped, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed; they kept the ordinances of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses |
