[1]ܡ̣ܢ ܒܲܪܢܵܫܵܐ ܬܲܪ̈ܥܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܠܸܒܵܐ. ܘܡ̣ܢ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܡܲܡܠܠܵܐ ܕܠܸܫܵܢܵܐ. [1]A man may wel purpose a thyng in his heart: but the aunswere of the tongue commeth of the Lorde
[2]ܟܠܗܹܝܢ ܐܘܼܪ̈ܚܵܬܹܗ ܕܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܕܲܟ݂̈ܝܵܢ ܐܸܢܹܝܢ ܒܥܲܝܢܲܝ̈ ܢܲܦ̮ܫܹܗ. ܘܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܡܲܬ̣ܩܸܢ ܐܘܼܪ̈ܚܵܬܹܗ. [2]A man thynketh all his wayes to be cleane: but it is the Lorde that iudgeth the myndes
[3]ܓܠܝܼ ܠܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܥܒ̣ܵܕܲܝ̈ܟ: ܘܢܲܬ̣ܩܸܢ ܡܲܚܫ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܵܟ݂. [3]Commit thy workes vnto the Lorde: and what thou deuisest it shall prosper
[4]ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܒ̣ܵܕ݂ܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܠܐܲܝܠܹܝܢ ܕܡܸܫܬܲܡܥܝܼܢ ܠܹܗ. ܘܥܵܘܵܠܵܐ ܢܛܝܼܪ ܠܝܵܘܡܵܐ ܒܝܼܫܵܐ. [4]The Lorde hath made all thynges for his owne sake: yea, the vngodly for the day of wrath
[5]ܛܡܲܐܗ̄ܘܼ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܟܠ ܕܪܵܡ ܒܠܸܒܹ̇ܗ. ܘܲܕ݂ܡܵܘܫܸܛ ܐܝܼܕܹܗ ܥܲܠ ܚܲܒ̣ܪܹܗ: ܠܵܐ ܢܸܬ̣ܚܲܣܹܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ. [5]The Lorde abhorreth all such as be of a proude heart: and though hande be ioyned in hande, yet they shall not be vnpunished
[6]ܒܛܲܝܒ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܘܲܒ̣ܩܘܼܫܬܵܐ ܡܸܣܬ̇ܒܸܩ ܥܵܘܼܠܵܐ. ܘܕܸܚ̱ܠܬܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܡܲܣ̄ܛܝܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ. [6]With mercie and faythfulnesse sinnes be forgeuen: and by the feare of the Lorde euyll is eschewed
[7]ܒܨܸܒ̣ܝܵܢܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܐܘܼܪ̈ܚܵܬܹܗ ܕܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ. ܘܐܵܦ ܠܲܒ̣ܥܸܠܕ̇ܒ̣ܵܒ̣ܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܢܸܦܪܘܿܥ. [7]When a mans wayes please the Lord, he maketh his very enemies to be his frendes
[8]ܛܵܒ̣ ܗ̄ܘܼ ܩܲܠܝܼܠ ܒܙܲܕ̇ܝܼܩܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ: ܡ̣ܢ ܣܘܿܓ̣ܵܐܐ ܕܥܲܠ̈ܠܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܠܵܐ ܒܕ݂ܝܼܢܵܐ. [8]Better it is to haue a litle with ryghteousnesse, then great rentes wrongfully gotten
[9]ܠܸܒܹ̇ܗ ܕܒܲܪܢܵܫܵܐ ܡܸܬ̣ܚܲܫܲܒ̣ ܐܘܼܪ̈ܚܵܬܹܗ. ܘܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܡܲܬ̣ܩܸܢ ܗܲܠܟ݂ܵܬܹ̈ܗ. [9]A man deuiseth a way in his heart: but it is the Lorde that ordereth his goynges
[10]ܩܸܨܡܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܣܸܦ̈ܘܵܬܹܗ ܕܡܲܠܟܵܐ. ܘܲܒ̣ܕ݂ܝܼܢܵܐ ܠܵܐ ܢܸܛܥܹܐ ܦܘܼܡܹܗ. [10]When the prophecie is in the lippes of the kyng, his mouth shall not go wrong in iudgement
[11]ܡܲܬ̣ܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܡܲܣܲܐܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܝܼܢܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܘܲܥܒ̣ܵܕ݂ܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܬ̣ܩܵܠܹ̈ܐ ܕܩܘܼܫܬܵܐ. [11]A true wayght and ballaunce are the Lordes iudgement: all the wayghtes of the bagge are his worke
[12]ܛܲܡܐܝܼܢ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܡܲܠܟܹ̈ܐ ܕܥܵܒ̣ܕ̇ܝܼܢ ܥܵܘܼܠܵܐ. ܡܸܛܠ ܕܲܒ̣ܙܲܕ̇ܝܼܩܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܗ̄ܘܼ ܡܲܬ̣ܩܲܢ ܟܘܼܪܣܝܵܐ. [12]Wicked doers are an abhomination to the kyng, for a kynges seate shoulde be holden vp with ryghteousnesse
[13]ܨܸܒ̣ܝܵܢܹܗ ܕܡܲܠܡܵܐ ܣܸܦ̈ܘܵܬܹܗ ܕܙܲܕ̇ܝܼܩܵܐ. ܘܡܸܠܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܬ̣ܪ̈ܝܼܨܹܐ ܪܵܚܹ̇ܡ. [13]Ryghteous lippes are pleasaunt vnto kynges, and them that speaketh the trueth shall he loue
[14]ܚܸܡܬܹܗ ܕܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܡܲܠܲܐܟܹ̈ܐ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܕܡܵܘܬܵܐ. ܘܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܚܲܟ̇ܝܼܡܵܐ ܢܕܲܥܟ݂ܝܼܗ̇. [14]The kinges displeasure is a messenger of death: but a wise man wyll pacifie hym
[15]ܒܢܘܼܗܪܵܐ ܕܦܲܪܨܘܿܦܹܗ ܕܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܚܲܝܹ̈ܐ. ܘܨܸܒ̣ܝܵܢܹܗ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܥܢܵܢܵܐ ܒܟ݂ܝܼܪܵܝܬܵܐ. [15]The chearfull countenaunce of the kyng is life: and his louyng fauour is as a cloude of the latter rayne
[16]ܕܩܵܢܹ̇ܐ ܚܸܟ݂ܡ̱ܬ̣ܵܐ ܛܵܒܹ̇ܐ ܗ̄ܝܼ ܠܹܗ ܡ̣ܢ ܕܲܗܒ̣ܵܐ: ܘܲܕ݂ܩܵܢܹ̇ܐ ܣܘܼܟܵܠܵܐ: ܡܝܲܬܲܪ ܗ̄ܘܼ ܠܹܗ ܡ̣ܢ ܣܹܐܡܵܐ. [16]To haue wisdome in possession, is better then to haue golde: and to get vnderstandyng, is rather to be chosen then to haue siluer
[17]ܫܒ̣ܝܼܠܵܐ ܕܲܬ̣ܪ̈ܝܼܨܹܐ ܡܲܣܛܹܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ. ܘܕܲܙܗܝܼܪ ܒܢܲܦ̮ܫܹܗ: ܢܵܛܲܪ ܐܘܼܪܚܹܗ. [17]The path of the ryghteous is to eschewe euyll, and who so loketh well to his wayes, kepeth his owne soule
[18]ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܬܒ̣ܵܪܵܐ ܨܲܥܪܵܐ. ܘܲܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܟܘܼܪܗܵܢܵܐ ܪܵܡܘܼܬ̣ ܪܘܼܚܵܐ. [18]Pryde goeth before destruction, and an hygh mynde before the fall
[19]ܛܵܒ̣ ܗ̄ܘܼ ܡܲܟ̇ܝܼܟ݂ ܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܘܡܲܟ̇ܝܼܟ݂ ܥܲܝ̈ܢܹܐ: ܡ̣ܢ ܗܵܘܿ ܕܲܡܦܲܠܸܓ̣ ܒܸܙܬ̣ܵܐ ܥܲܡ ܥܲܫܝܼܢܹ̈ܐ. [19]Better it is to be of humble mynde with the lowly, the to deuide the spoyles with the proude
[20]ܕܡܸܣܬܲܟܲܠ ܡܸܠܬ̣ܵܐ: ܡܸܫܟܲܚ ܛܵܒ̣ܬ̣ܵܐ ܘܕܲܬ̣ܟ݂ܝܼܠ ܥܲܠ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܛܘܼܒ̣ܵܘܗܝ. [20]He that handleth a matter wisely obteyneth good: and blessed is he that putteth his trust in the Lorde
[21]ܚܲܟ̇ܝܼܡ ܠܸܒܵܐ ܝܵܕܲܥ ܣܘܼܟܵܠܵܐ ܘܲܕ݂ܚܲܠ̈ܝܵܢ ܣܸܦ̈ܘܵܬܹܗ ܡܵܘܣܸܦ ܝܘܼܠܦܵܢܵܐ. [21]Who so is wyse in heart, shalbe called prudent: and the sweetnesse of his lippes encreaseth learnyng
[22]ܡܲܒ̇ܘܼܥܵܐ ܕܚܲܝܹ̈ܐ ܣܘܼܟܵܠܵܐ ܗ̄ܘܼ ܠܐܲܝܠܹܝܢ ܕܝܵܕ݂ܥܝܼܢ ܠܹܗ. ܘܡܲܪܕ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܣܲܟ݂ܠܹ̈ܐ ܫܵܛܝܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܗ̄ܝܼ. [22]Vnderstandyng is a well of lyfe vnto hym that hath it: as for the chastenyng of fooles it is but foolishnesse
[23]ܠܸܒܵܐ ܚܲܟ̇ܝܼܡܵܐ ܝܵܕܲܥ ܡܹܐܡܪܵܐ ܕܦܘܼܡܹܗ ܘܥܲܠ ܣܸܦ̈ܘܵܬܹܗ ܡܵܘܣܸܦ ܝܘܼܠܦܵܢܵܐ. [23]A wyse heart ordereth his mouth wisely, and ministreth learnyng vnto his lippes
[24]ܟܲܟܵܪܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܕܸܒ̣ܫܵܐ ܡܹܐܡܪܹܗ ܕܚܲܟ̇ܝܼܡܵܐ: ܘܚܲܠܝܵܐܗ̄ܝܼ ܠܢܲܦ̮ܫܹܗ: ܘܐܵܣܝܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܗ̄ܝܼ ܠܓܲܪ̈ܡܵܘܗܝ. [24]Fayre wordes are an hony combe, a refresshyng of the mynde, and health of the bones
[25]ܐܝܼܬ̣ ܐܘܼܪܚܵܐ ܕܡܸܬ̣ܚܲܙܝܵܐ ܒܥܲܝܢܲܝ̈ ܒܢܲܝ̈ܢܵܫܵܐ: ܕܲܬ̣ܪܝܼܨܵܐ ܗ̄ܝܼ. ܘܐܘܼܪ̈ܚܵܬ̣ܵܗ̇ ܐܘܼܪ̈ܚܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܐܸܢܹܝܢ ܕܡܵܘܬܵܐ. [25]There is a way that men thynke to be ryght: but the ende therof leadeth vnto death
[26]ܢܲܦ̮ܫܵܐ ܡܲܟ݂ܐܲܒ̣ܬܵܐ ܟܹܐܒܹ̈ܝܗ̇ ܠܵܗ̇. ܘܡ̣ܢ ܦܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܢܲܦ̮ܫܵܗ̇ ܐܵܬܹܐ ܠܵܗ̇ ܐܲܒ̣ܕܵܢܵܐ. [26]A troublous soule disquieteth her selfe, for her owne mouth hath brought her therto
[27]ܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܥܵܘܿܠܵܐ ܚܵܫܹ̇ܠ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ. ܘܡ̣ܢ ܦܘܼܡܹܗ ܝܵܩܕܵܐ ܢܘܼܪܵܐ. [27]An vngodly person stirreth vp euyll, and in his lippes he is as an hotte burnyng fyre
[28]ܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܥܵܘܿܠܵܐ ܡܓܲܪܸܓ̣ ܕܝܼܢܵܐ ܘܲܣܪܝܼܩܵܐ ܪܵܕܹܦ ܪ̈ܵܚܡܹܐ ܪ̈ܵܚܡܵܘܗܝ. [28]A frowarde body causeth strife: and he that is a blabbe of his tongue maketh deuision among princes
[29]ܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܥܵܘܿܠܵܐ ܡܫܲܕܸ̇ܠ ܚܲܒ̣ܪܹܗ ܘܡܵܘܒܸ̇ܠ ܠܹܗ ܒܐܘܼܪܚܵܐ ܕܠܵܐ ܫܲܦܝܼܪܵܐ. [29]A wicked man beguyleth his neyghbour, and leadeth hym into the way that is not good
[30]ܘܪܵܡܹ̇ܙ ܒܥܲܝܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ: ܘܡܸܬ̣ܚܲܫܲܒ̣ ܗܦܝܼ̈ܟ݂ܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܡܸܬ̣ܪܲܥܹܐ ܒܣܸܦ̈ܘܵܬܹܗ: ܘܓ̣ܵܡܲܪ ܒܝܼ̈ܫܵܬ̣ܵܐ. [30]He shutteth his eyes to deuise mischiefe: and moueth his lippes to bryng euyll to passe
[31]ܟܠܝܼܠܵܐ ܕܬܸܫܒ̇ܘܿܚܬܵܐ ܣܲܝܒ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ. ܘܒ̣ܐܘܼܪܚܵܐ ܕܙܲܕ̇ܝܼܩܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܡܸܫܬܲܒ̇ܚܵܐ. [31]Age is a crowne of worshyp, yf it be founde in the way of ryghteousnesse
[32]ܛܵܒ̣ ܗ̄ܘܼ ܢܲܓ̇ܝܼܪ ܪܘܼܚܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܓܲܢ̄ܒܵܪܵܐ. ܘܕܲܡܟܲܒܸ̇ܫ ܢܲܦ̮ܫܹܗ ܡ̣ܢ ܗܵܘ̇ ܕܐܲܚܝܼܕ݂ ܡܕ݂ܝܼܢ̄ܬܵܐ. [32]A patient man is better the one strong: and he that can rule hym selfe, is more worth then he that wynneth a citie
[33]ܒܥܘܼܒܹ̇ܗ ܕܥܲܢܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܢܵܦ̇ܠܵܐ ܦܸܨܬܹܗ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܢܵܦܹ̇ܩ ܕܝܼܢܹܗ. [33]The lottes are cast into the lappe: but the orderyng therof standeth all in the Lorde
