| [1]O GIVE thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. |
[1]ܐܲܘܕܵܘ ܠܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܘܲܩܪܵܘ ܫܡܹܗ. |
| [2]Sing to him, sing psalms to him, talk of all his wondrous works. |
[2]ܘܚܲܘܵܘ ܒܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܥܒ̣ܵܕ݂ܵܘ̈ܗܝ. |
| [3]Glory in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. |
[3]ܫܲܒ̇ܚܘܼܗܝ ܘܲܙܡܲܪܘ ܠܹܗ. |
| [4]Seek the LORD, and be strong, seek his face evermore. |
[4]ܘܐܸܫܬܲܥܵܘ ܟܠܗܹܝܢ ܬܸܕ݂ܡ̱ܪ̈ܵܬܹܗ. |
| [5]Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, |
[5]ܫܲܒܲܚܘ ܠܲܫܡܵܐ ܕܩܘܼܕ݂ܫܹܗ. |
| [6]O you descendants of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen. |
[6]ܢܸܚܕܸ̇ܐ ܠܸܒܗܘܿܢ ܕܐܲܝܠܹܝܢ ܕܒ̣ܵܥܹ̇ܝܢ ܠܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [7]He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. |
[7]ܒܥܵܘ ܠܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܘܐܸܬ̣ܚܲܝܲܠܘ. |
| [8]He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. |
[8]ܘܲܒ̣ܥܵܘ ܐܲܦܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܒܟ̣ܠܙܒܲܢ. |
| [9]For he made his covenant with Abraham, and his oaths to Isaac; |
[9]ܐܸܬ̇ܕܲܟ̣ܪ̱ܘ ܬܸܕ݂ܡ̱ܪ̈ܵܬܹܗ ܕܲܥܒܲܕ݂. |
| [10]And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, |
[10]ܬܸܕ݂ܡ̱ܪ̈ܵܬܹܗ ܘܕ݂ܝܼܢܵܐ ܕܦܘܼܡܹܗ. |
| [11]Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance, |
[11]ܙܲܪܥܹܗ ܕܐܲܒ̣ܪܵܗܵܡ ܥܲܒ̣ܕܹ̇ܗ. |
| [12]When they were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and strangers in it. |
[12]ܘܲܒ̣ܢܲܝ̈ ܝܲܥܩܘܿܒ̣ ܓܒ̣ܵܘ̈ܗܝ. |
| [13]When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; |
[13]ܗܘ݀ܝܘܼ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܐܲܠܵܗܲܢ. |
| [14]He suffered no man to do them wrong; yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, |
[14]ܕܲܒ̣ܟ̣ܠܵܗ̇ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܝܼܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ. |
| [15]That they might touch not his anointed, and do his prophets no harm. |
[15]ܐܸܬ̇ܕ̇ܟܲܪ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ ܩܝܵܡܹܗ. |
| [16]Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole stalk of their wheat. |
[16]ܡܸܠܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܦܲܩܸܕ݂ ܠܐܵܠܹܦ ܕܵܪ̈ܝܼܢ. |
| [17]He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant, |
[17]ܕܐܲܩܝܼܡ ܩܝܵܡܹܗ ܥܲܡ ܐܲܒ̣ܪܵܗܵܡ. |
| [18]Whose feet they bound with fetters; he was laid in iron |
[18]ܘܡܲܘ̈ܡܵܬܹܗ ܥܲܡ ܐܝܼܣܚܵܩ. |
| [19]Until the time that his word came; the word of the LORD tried him. |
[19]ܘܣܵܗܕ̇ܘܼܬܹܗ ܥܲܡ ܝܲܥܩܘܿܒ̣. |
| [20]The king sent and released him, and made him a ruler over his people. |
[20]ܩܝܵܡܵܐ ܠܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ. |
| [21]He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions, |
[21]ܘܐܸܡܲܪ݂ ܕܠܵܟ݂ ܐܸܬ̇ܠܝܼܗ̇ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܲܟ̣ܢܲܥܢ. |
| [22]To discipline the governors at his pleasure and to teach the elders wisdom. |
[22]ܚܲܒ̣ܠܹ̈ܐ ܕܝܵܪܬ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܟ̣ܘܿܢ. |
| [23]Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. |
[23]ܟܲܕ݂ ܙܥܘܿܪܝܼܢ ܗ݀ܘܲܝܬ̇ܘܿܢ ܒܡܸܢܝܵܢܵܐ. |
| [24]And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies. |
[24]ܩܲܠܝܼܠ ܗ݀ܘܲܝܬ̇ܘܿܢ ܘܥܵܡܘܿܪܹ̈ܐ ܗ݀ܘܲܝܬ̇ܘܿܢ ܒܵܗ̇. |
| [25]He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants. |
[25]ܗܲܠܸܟ݂ ܡ̣ܢ ܥܲܡܵܐ ܠܥܲܡܵܐ. |
| [26]He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen. |
[26]ܘܡ̣ܢ ܡܲܠܟ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܠܥܲܡܵܐ ܐ̄ܚܪܹܢܵܐ. |
| [27]They showed his signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham. |
[27]ܘܠܵܐ ܫܒܲܩ݂ ܠܒܲܪܢܵܫܵܐ ܕܢܸܛܠܘܿܡ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ. |
| [28]He sent darkness, and made it dark; and yet they rebelled against his word. |
[28]ܐܲܟܸ̇ܣ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܦܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ. |
| [29]He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish. |
[29]ܕܠܵܐ ܬܸܬ̣ܩܲܪܒ̣ܘܼܢ ܠܲܡܫܝܼܚܲܝ̈. |
| [30]Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the inner chambers of their kings. |
[30]ܘܠܲܢܒ̣ܝܲܝ̈ⓘ ܠܵܐ ܬܲܒ̣ܐ̱ܫܘܼܢ. |
| [31]He spoke, and there came different sorts of flies and lice in all their borders. |
[31]ܘܲܩ̣ܪܵܐ ܟܲܦܢܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ. |
| [32]He turned their rain into hail; and brought flaming fire into their land. |
[32]ܘܟ̣ܠܹܗ ܩܲܢܝܵܐ ܕܲܥܒ̣ܘܼܪܗܘܿܢ ܬܒܲܪ. |
| [33]He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and broke the trees within their borders. |
[33]ܫܲܕܲܪ ܩܕ݂ܵܡܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܓܲܒ̣ܪܵܐ. |
| [34]He spoke and the locusts came and caterpillars, and that without numbers throughout their land. |
[34]ܠܥܲܒ̣ܕ̇ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܐܸܙܕܲܒܲܢ ܝܲܘܣܸܦ. |
| [35]And they devoured all the herbs and the fruit of their lands. |
[35]ܐܸܣܲܪܘ ܒܣܘܼܛܡܹ̈ܐ ܪܸ̈ܓ̣ܠܵܘܗܝ. |
| [36]He smote also all the first-born of Egypt, the first-born of all their boys. |
[36]ܘܲܒ̣ܦܲܪ̈ܙܠܹܐ ܥܸܠܲܬ݀ ܢܲܦ̮ܫܹܗ. |
| [37]He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. |
[37]ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܕܫܸܪܲܬ݀ ܡܸܠܬܹܗ. |
| [38]Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them fell upon them. |
[38]ܡܹܐܡܪܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܒܩܵܝܗܝ. |
| [39]He spread a cloud to shade them, and fire to give light in the night. |
[39]ܫܲܕܲܪ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܘܲܫܪܵܝܗܝ. |
| [40]The people asked, and he brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. |
[40]ܘܥܲܒ̣ܕܹ̇ܗ ܫܲܠܝܼܛܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܥܲܡܹܗ. |
| [41]He opened the rock and the waters gushed out; and water flowed in the dry land. |
[41]ܡܵܪܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܒܲܝܬܹ̇ܗ ܘܫܲܠܝܼܛܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܟܠܹܗ ܩܸܢܝܵܢܹܗ. |
| [42]For he remembered his holy promise which he had given to Abraham his servant. |
[42]ܕܢܸܪܕܸ̇ܐ ܠܫܲܠܝܼܛܹ̈ܐ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܕܨܵܒܹ̇ܐ. |
| [43]And he brought forth his people with joy, and his young men with gladness, |
[43]ܘܲܠܩܲܫܝܼܫܹ̈ܐ ܢܚܲܟܸ̇ܡ. |
| [44]And gave them the lands of the Gentiles; and they inherited the labor of the people. |
