Vulgata Clementina (1592)
Vul
[1]The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. [1]Alleluja. Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo, in consilio justorum, et congregatione.
[2]The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. [2]Magna opera Domini, exquisita in omnes voluntates ejus.
[3]Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. [3]Confessio et magnificentia opus ejus; et justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.
[4]The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. [4]Memoriam fecit mirabilium suorum, misericors et miserator Dominus.
[5]The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. [5]Escam dedit timentibus se; memor erit in sæculum testamenti sui.
[6]He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. [6]Virtutem operum suorum annuntiabit populo suo,
[7]He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head. [7]ut det illis hæreditatem gentium. Opera manuum ejus veritas et judicium;
8[No verse] [8]fidelia omnia mandata ejus, confirmata in sæculum sæculi, facta in veritate et æquitate.
9[No verse] [9]Redemptionem misit populo suo; mandavit in æternum testamentum suum. Sanctum et terribile nomen ejus.
10[No verse] [10]Initium sapientiæ timor Domini; intellectus bonus omnibus facientibus eum, laudatio ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.
