[1]When Israel came out of Egypt: & the house of Iacob from among the barbarous people [1]When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of a foreign language;
[2]Iuda was his holynesse: and Israel his dominion [2]Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
[3]The sea sawe that and fled: Iordane was driuen backe [3]The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
[4]The mountaynes skypped lyke rammes: and the litle hilles like young lambes [4]The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
[5]What ayleth thee O thou sea that thou fleddest? and thou Iordane that thou wast driuen backe [5]What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
