[1]A Song of the Ascents. Those trusting in Jehovah [are] as Mount Zion, It is not moved -- to the age it abideth. [1]A SongH7892 of degreesH4609. They that trustH982[H8802] in the LORDH3068 shall be as mountH2022 ZionH6726, which cannot be removedH4131[H8735], but abidethH3427[H8799] for everH5769.
[2]Jerusalem! mountains [are] round about her, And Jehovah [is] round about His people, From henceforth even unto the age. [2]As the mountainsH2022 are round aboutH5439 JerusalemH3389, so the LORDH3068 is round aboutH5439 his peopleH5971 from henceforth even forH5704 everH5769.
[3]For the rod of wickedness resteth not On the lot of the righteous, That the righteous put not forth on iniquity their hands. [3]For the rodH7626 of the wickedH7562 shall not restH5117[H8799] upon the lotH1486 of the righteousH6662; lestH4616 the righteousH6662 put forthH7971[H8799] their handsH3027 unto iniquityH5766.
[4]Do good, O Jehovah, to the good, And to the upright in their hearts. [4]Do goodH2895[H8685], O LORDH3068, unto those that be goodH2896, and to them that are uprightH3477 in their heartsH3826.
[5]As to those turning [to] their crooked ways, Jehovah causeth them to go with workers of iniquity. Peace on Israel!
