[1]שיר המעלות לדוד יהוה לא־גבה לבי ולא־רמו עיני ולא־הלכתי בגדלות ובנפלאות ממני [1]LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I deal in great matters, nor in things too high for me.
[2]אם־לא שויתי ודוממתי נפשי כגמל עלי אמו כגמל עלי נפשי [2]Surely I have humbled and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of its mother; my soul is even as a weaned child.
[3]יחל ישראל אל־יהוה מעתה ועד־עולם [3]Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
