The Septuagint in English by Brenton
LXX(EN)
Peshitta (Lamsa, 1933)
Pes(Lam)
[A Song of Degrees.]
[1]O Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have mine eyes been haughtily raised: neither have I exercised myself in great matters, nor in things too wonderful for me. [1]LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I deal in great matters, nor in things too high for me.
[2]I shall have sinned if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul: according to the relation of a weaned child to his mother, so wilt thou recompense my soul. [2]Surely I have humbled and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of its mother; my soul is even as a weaned child.
[3]Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for ever. [3]Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
