[[A song of degrees or Psalm Chapter of David.]]
[1]A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. [1]Lord, mine heart is not haughty, neither are mine eyes lofty, neither have I walked in great matters and hid from me.
[2]Surely I have behaved and quieted myself as a child that is weaned by his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. [2]Surely I have behaved myself, like one weaned from his mother, and kept silence: I am in myself as one that is weaned.
[3]Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever. [3]Let Israel wait on the Lord from henceforth and forever.
