Peshitta (Lamsa, 1933)
Pes(Lam)
[1]The title of the hundrid and oon and thrittithe salm. The song of greces. Lord, haue thou mynde on Dauid; and of al his myldenesse. [1]LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I deal in great matters, nor in things too high for me.
[2]As he swoor to the Lord; he made a vowe to God of Jacob. [2]Surely I have humbled and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of its mother; my soul is even as a weaned child.
[3]I schal not entre in to the tabernacle of myn hous; Y schal not stie in to the bed of mi restyng. [3]Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
