[1]ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܥܲܘܵܠܵܐ ܒܠܸܒܹܗ ܕܠܲܝܬ̇ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ. |
[1]THE fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have been defiled by their own devices; there is none that does good. |
[2]ܐܸܬ̣ܚܲܒܲܠܘ ܘܐܸܬ̇ܛܲܢܲܦܘ ܒܨܸܢ̈ܥܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
[2]The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God. |
[3]ܘܠܲܝܬ̇ ܕܥܵܒܸܕ݂ ܛܵܒ̣ܬ̣ܵܐ. |
[3]They are all gone astray and have been rejected all together; there is none that does good; no, not one. |
[4]ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܐܲܕ݂ܝܼܩ ܡ̣ܢ ܫܡܲܝܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܒܢܲܝ̈ܢܵܫܵܐ. |
[4]They recognized not the workers of iniquity, who devour my people as one eats bread; and they called not upon the LORD. |
[5]ܕܢܸܚܙܸܐ ܐܸܢ ܐܝܼܬ̣ ܕܣܲܟ̇ܘܼܠܬ̣ܵܢ ܘܒ̣ܵܥܹܐ ܠܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ. |
[5]There were they in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous. |
[6]ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܣܛܵܘ ܐܲܟ̣ܚ̄ܕ݂ܵܐ ܘܐܸܣܬ̇ܠܝܼܘ. |
[6]They have reproached the counsel of the poor, because he trusts on the LORD. |
[7]ܘܠܲܝܬ̇ ܕܥܵܒܹܕ݂ ܛܵܒ̣ܬ̣ܵܐ ܘܐܵܦܠܵܐ ܚܲܕ݂. |
[7]Who shall give out of Zion the salvation to Israel? When the LORD brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad. |
[8]ܘܠܵܐ ܝܑܼܕܲܥܘ ܟܠ ܥܵܒ̣ܕܲܝ̈ ܥܲܘܠܵܐ. |
