Vulgata Clementina (1592)
Vul
[1]Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. [1]Alleluja. Laudate Dominum, quoniam bonus est psalmus; Deo nostro sit jucunda, decoraque laudatio.
[2]While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. [2]Ædificans Jerusalem Dominus, dispersiones Israëlis congregabit;
[3]Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. [3]qui sanat contritos corde, et alligat contritiones eorum;
[4]His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. [4]qui numerat multitudinem stellarum, et omnibus eis nomina vocat.
[5]Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: [5]Magnus Dominus noster, et magna virtus ejus; et sapientiæ ejus non est numerus.
[6]Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: [6]Suscipiens mansuetos Dominus; humilians autem peccatores usque ad terram.
[7]Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners: [7]Præcinite Domino in confessione, psallite Deo nostro in cithara.
[8]The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: [8]Qui operit cælum nubibus, et parat terræ pluviam; qui producit in montibus fœnum, et herbam servituti hominum;
[9]The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. [9]qui dat jumentis escam ipsorum, et pullis corvorum invocantibus eum.
[10]The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD. [10]Non in fortitudine equi voluntatem habebit, nec in tibiis viri beneplacitum erit ei.
11[No verse] [11]Beneplacitum est Domino super timentes eum, et in eis qui sperant super misericordia ejus.
