[[Praise ye the Lord.]]
[1]Praise ye the Lord from the heaven: praise ye him in the high places. [1]PRAISE the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights.
[2]Praise ye him, all ye his angels: praise him, all his army. [2]Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts.
[3]Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise ye him all bright stars. [3]Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all stars and light.
[4]Praise ye him, heavens of heavens, and waters, that be above the heavens. [4]Praise him, heavens of heavens, and waters that are above the heavens.
[5]Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. [5]Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he spoke and they were made, he commanded and they were created.
[6]And he hath established them forever and ever: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not pass. [6]He has also established them for ever and ever; he has made a decree which shall not pass.
[7]Praise ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths: [7]Praise the LORD from the earth, you great serpents and all deeps;
[8]Fire and hail, snow and vapors, stormy wind, which execute his word: [8]Fire and hail, snow and ice, stormy wind fulfilling his word,
[9]Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars: [9]Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,
[10]Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and feathered fouls: [10]Wild beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying fowl,
[11]Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the world: [11]Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth,
[12]Young men and maidens, also old men and children: [12]Both boys and maidens, old men and young men, let them praise the name of the LORD;
[13]Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name only is to be exalted, and his praise above the earth and the heavens. [13]For his name alone is excellent; his glory is on earth and in heaven.
[14]For he hath exalted the horn of his people, which is a praise for all his saints, even for the children of Israel, a people that is near unto him. Praise ye the Lord. [14]He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise the LORD.
