| [1]BE merciful to me, O God; for man has trodden me under foot; all the day long the fighting oppresses me. |
[1]לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל־יֹונַת אֵלֶם רְחֹקִים לְדָוִד מִכְתָּם בֶּאֱחֹז אֹתֹו פְלִשְׁתִּים בְּגַת׃ |
| [2]Mine enemies have daily trodden me under foot; for many warriors have risen against me. |
[2]חָנֵּנִי אֱלֹהִים כִּי־שְׁאָפַנִי אֱנֹושׁ כָּל־הַיֹּום לֹחֵם יִלְחָצֵנִי׃ |
| [3]I fear not during the day, because I trust in thee. |
[3]שָׁאֲפוּ שֹׁורְרַי כָּל־הַיֹּום כִּי־רַבִּים לֹחֲמִים לִי מָרֹום׃ |
| [4]In God I will be glorified, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what man can do to me. |
[4]יֹום אִירָא אֲנִי אֵלֶיךָ אֶבְטָח׃ |
| [5]All the day long they conspired against me and they devised evil against me. |
[5]בֵּאלֹהִים אֲהַלֵּל דְּבָרֹו בֵּאלֹהִים בָּטַחְתִּי לֹא אִירָא מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂה בָשָׂר לִי׃ |
| [6]They will wait in hiding, they will watch my steps, inasmuch as they wish for my death. |
[6]כָּל־הַיֹּום דְּבָרַי יְעַצֵּבוּ עָלַי כָּל־מַחְשְׁבֹתָם לָרָע׃ |
| [7]He has no deliverer, they have said. Condemn them with the condemnation of the Gentiles. |
[7]יָגוּרוּ יַצְפִּינוּ [Q: יִצְפֹּונוּ] הֵמָּה עֲקֵבַי יִשְׁמֹרוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר קִוּוּ נַפְשִׁי׃ |
| [8]O God, I have declared my faith unto thee; record thou my tears before thee in thy book. |
[8]עַל־אָוֶן פַּלֶּט־לָמֹו בְּאַף עַמִּים הֹורֵד אֱלֹהִים׃ |
| [9]Then shall mine enemies turn back; and I will know I have a God. |
[9]נֹדִי סָפַרְתָּה אָתָּה שִׂימָה דִמְעָתִי בְנֹאדֶךָ הֲלֹא בְּסִפְרָתֶךָ׃ |
| [10]In God will I praise his word; in the LORD will I praise his word. |
[10]אָז יָשׁוּבוּ אֹויְבַי אָחֹור בְּיֹום אֶקְרָא זֶה־יָדַעְתִּי כִּי־אֱלֹהִים לִי׃ |
| [11]In God have I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do to me. |
[11]בֵּאלֹהִים אֲהַלֵּל דָּבָר בַּיהוָה אֲהַלֵּל דָּבָר׃ |
| [12]To thee shall I perform my vows, O God; I will offer them to thee with thank offering. |
[12]בֵּאלֹהִים בָּטַחְתִּי לֹא אִירָא מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂה אָדָם לִי׃ |
| [13]For thou hast delivered my soul from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may be pleasing in thy sight, O God, in the land of the living. |
[13]עָלַי אֱלֹהִים נְדָרֶיךָ אֲשַׁלֵּם תֹּודֹת לָךְ׃ |

[14]כִּי הִצַּלְתָּ נַפְשִׁי מִמָּוֶת הֲלֹא רַגְלַי מִדֶּחִי לְהִתְהַלֵּךְ לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים בְּאֹור הַחַיִּים׃ |
