[1]εἰς τὸ τέλος ἐν ὕμνοις τῷ δαυιδ |
[1]O GOD, thou hast forsaken us, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased with us; O turn thyself to us again. |
[2]εἰσάκουσον ὁ θεός τῆς δεήσεώς μου πρόσχες τῇ προσευχῇ μου |
[2]Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it; heal the breaches thereof, for it hath weakened. |
[3]ἀπὸ τῶν περάτων τῆς γῆς πρὸς σὲ ἐκέκραξα ἐν τῷ ἀκηδιάσαι τὴν καρδίαν μου ἐν πέτρᾳ ὕψωσάς με |
[3]Thou hast shown thy people hardships; thou hast made us to drink the dregs of wine. |
[4]ὡδήγησάς με ὅτι ἐγενήθης ἐλπίς μου πύργος ἰσχύος ἀπὸ προσώπου ἐχθροῦ |
[4]Thou hast wrought a miracle to them that reverence thee, so that they need not flee from the bow. |
[5]παροικήσω ἐν τῷ σκηνώματί σου εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας σκεπασθήσομαι ἐν σκέπῃ τῶν πτερύγων σου διάψαλμα |
[5]That thy beloved may be prepared, save with thy right hand, and hear me. |
[6]ὅτι σύ ὁ θεός εἰσήκουσας τῶν εὐχῶν μου ἔδωκας κληρονομίαν τοῖς φοβουμένοις τὸ ὄνομά σου |
[6]God has spoken in his holiness: I will be strong, I will divide Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth. |
[7]ἡμέρας ἐφ ἡμέρας βασιλέως προσθήσεις ἔτη αὐτοῦ ἕως ἡμέρας γενεᾶς καὶ γενεᾶς |
[7]Gilead is mine and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my king. |
[8]διαμενεῖ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ ἔλεος καὶ ἀλήθειαν αὐτοῦ τίς ἐκζητήσει |
[8]Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I levy tribute; over Philistia will I triumph. |
[9]οὕτως ψαλῶ τῷ ὀνόματί σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος τοῦ ἀποδοῦναί με τὰς εὐχάς μου ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας |
[9]Who will lead me into Edom? Who will bring me into the strong city? |

[10]For behold, O God, thou hadst cast us off, and thou didst not go before us with our armies. |

[11]Give us strength against our enemies; for vain is the help of man. |

[12]Through God we shall do valiantly; for he it is who shall tread down our enemies. |
