| [1]לַ֭מְנַצֵּחַ עַל־שׁוּשַׁ֣ן עֵד֑וּת מִכְתָּ֖ם לְדָוִ֣ד לְלַמֵּֽד׃ |
[1]O GOD, thou hast forsaken us, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased with us; O turn thyself to us again. |
| [2]בְּהַצֹּותֹ֨ו ׀ אֶ֥ת אֲרַ֣ם נַהֲרַיִם֮ וְאֶת־אֲרַ֪ם צֹ֫ובָ֥ה וַיָּ֤שָׁב יֹואָ֗ב וַיַּ֣ךְ אֶת־אֱדֹ֣ום בְּגֵיא־מֶ֑לַח שְׁנֵ֖ים עָשָׂ֣ר אָֽלֶף׃ |
[2]Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it; heal the breaches thereof, for it hath weakened. |
| [3]אֱ֭לֹהִים זְנַחְתָּ֣נוּ פְרַצְתָּ֑נוּ אָ֝נַ֗פְתָּ תְּשֹׁ֣ובֵ֥ב לָֽנוּ׃ |
[3]Thou hast shown thy people hardships; thou hast made us to drink the dregs of wine. |
| [4]הִרְעַ֣שְׁתָּה אֶ֣רֶץ פְּצַמְתָּ֑הּ רְפָ֖ה שְׁבָרֶ֣יהָ כִי־מָֽטָה׃ |
[4]Thou hast wrought a miracle to them that reverence thee, so that they need not flee from the bow. |
| [5]הִרְאִ֣יתָה עַמְּךָ֣ קָשָׁ֑ה הִ֝שְׁקִיתָ֗נוּ יַ֣יִן תַּרְעֵלָֽה׃ |
[5]That thy beloved may be prepared, save with thy right hand, and hear me. |
| [6]נָ֘תַ֤תָּה לִּירֵאֶ֣יךָ נֵּ֭ס לְהִתְנֹוסֵ֑ס מִ֝פְּנֵ֗י קֹ֣שֶׁט סֶֽלָה׃ |
[6]God has spoken in his holiness: I will be strong, I will divide Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth. |
| [7]לְ֭מַעַן יֵחָלְצ֣וּן יְדִידֶ֑יךָ הֹושִׁ֖יעָה יְמִֽינְךָ֣ [וַעֲנֵנוּ כ] (וַעֲנֵֽנִי׃ ק) |
[7]Gilead is mine and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my king. |
| [8]אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ דִּבֶּ֥ר בְּקָדְשֹׁ֗ו אֶ֫עְלֹ֥זָה אֲחַלְּקָ֥ה שְׁכֶ֑ם וְעֵ֖מֶק סֻכֹּ֣ות אֲמַדֵּֽד׃ |
[8]Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I levy tribute; over Philistia will I triumph. |
| [9]לִ֤י גִלְעָ֨ד ׀ וְלִ֬י מְנַשֶּׁ֗ה וְ֭אֶפְרַיִם מָעֹ֣וז רֹאשִׁ֑י יְ֝הוּדָ֗ה מְחֹֽקְקִי׃ |
[9]Who will lead me into Edom? Who will bring me into the strong city? |
| [10]מֹואָ֤ב ׀ סִ֬יר רַחְצִ֗י עַל־אֱ֭דֹום אַשְׁלִ֣יךְ נַעֲלִ֑י עָ֝לַ֗י פְּלֶ֣שֶׁת הִתְרֹעָֽעִֽי׃ |
[10]For behold, O God, thou hadst cast us off, and thou didst not go before us with our armies. |
| [11]מִ֣י יֹ֭בִלֵנִי עִ֣יר מָצֹ֑ור מִ֖י נָחַ֣נִי עַד־אֱדֹֽום׃ |
[11]Give us strength against our enemies; for vain is the help of man. |
| [12]הֲלֹֽא־אַתָּ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים זְנַחְתָּ֑נוּ וְֽלֹא־תֵצֵ֥א אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים בְּצִבְאֹותֵֽינוּ׃ |
[12]Through God we shall do valiantly; for he it is who shall tread down our enemies. |
| [13]הָֽבָה־לָּ֣נוּ עֶזְרָ֣ת מִצָּ֑ר וְ֝שָׁ֗וְא תְּשׁוּעַ֥ת אָדָם ׃ |
