[1]Hear my cry, O God: give ear unto my prayer. |
| [2]Whether my soule schal not be suget to God; for myn heelthe is of hym. |
[2]From the ends of the earth will I cry unto thee: when mine heart is oppressed, bring me upon the rock that is higher then I. |
| [3]For whi he is bothe my God, and myn heelthe; my `taker vp, Y schal no more be moued. |
[3]For thou hast been mine hope, and a strong tower against the enemy. |
| [4]Hou longe fallen ye on a man? alle ye sleen; as to a wal bowid, and a wal of stoon with out morter cast doun. |
[4]I will dwell in thy tabernacle forever, and my trust shall be under the covering of thy wings. Selah. |
| [5]Netheles thei thouyten to putte awei my prijs, Y ran in thirst; with her mouth thei blessiden, and in her herte thei cursiden. |
[5]For thou, O God, hast heard my desires: thou hast given an heritage unto those that fear thy name. |
| [6]Netheles, my soule, be thou suget to God; for my pacience is of hym. |
[6]Thou shalt give the king a long life: his years shall be as many ages. |
| [7]For he is my God, and my saueour; myn helpere, Y schal not passe out. |
[7]He shall dwell before God forever: prepare mercy and faithfulness that they may preserve him. |
| [8]Myn helthe, and my glorie is in God; God is the yyuer of myn help, and myn hope is in God. |
[8]So will I alway sing praise unto thy name in performing daily my vows. |
