Pes(Lam)
The Septuagint in English by Brenton
LXX(EN)
[For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me.]
[1]MAKE haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD. [1]Draw nigh, O God, to my help.
[2]Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward and put to confusion that desire my hurt. [2]Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.
[3]Let them be confounded by their recurring shame that say to me, Aha, aha! [3]Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.
[4]Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. [4]Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
[5]But I am poor and needy; make haste unto me, O God; thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, tarry not. [5]But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.
