[[A Psalm Chapter or song committed to the sons of Korah.]]
[1]By sons of Korah. -- A Psalm, a song. His foundation [is] in holy mountains. [1]God laid his foundations among the holy mountains.
[2]Jehovah is loving the gates of Zion Above all the tabernacles of Jacob. [2]The Lord loveth the gates of Zion above all the habitations of Jacob.
[3]Honourable things are spoken in Thee, O city of God. Selah. [3]Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
[4]I mention Rahab and Babel to those knowing Me, Lo, Philistia, and Tyre, with Cush! This [one] was born there. [4]I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon among them that know me: behold Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia, There is he born.
[5]And of Zion it is said: Each one was born in her, And He, the Most High, doth establish her. [5]And of Zion it shall be said, Many are born in her: and he, even the Most High shall stablish her.
[6]Jehovah doth recount in the describing of the peoples, `This [one] was born there.' Selah. [6]The Lord shall count, when he writeth the people, He was born there. Selah.
[7]Singers also as players on instruments, All my fountains [are] in Thee! [7]As well the singers as the players on instruments shall praise thee: all my springs are in thee.
