Vulgata Clementina (1592)
Vul
[1]O sing unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ a new song; sing unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, all the earth. [1]Huic David, quando terra ejus restituta est. Dominus regnavit; exsultet terra; lætentur insulæ multæ.
[2]Sing unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, bless His name; proclaim His salvation from day to day. [2]Nubes et caligo in circuitu ejus; justitia et judicium correctio sedis ejus.
[3]Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples. [3]Ignis ante ipsum præcedet, et inflammabit in circuitu inimicos ejus.
[4]For great is ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, and highly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. [4]Illuxerunt fulgura ejus orbi terræ; vidit, et commota est terra.
[5]For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; but ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ made the heavens. [5]Montes sicut cera fluxerunt a facie Domini; a facie Domini omnis terra.
[6]Honour and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. [6]Annuntiaverunt cæli justitiam ejus; et viderunt omnes populi gloriam ejus.
[7]Ascribe unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, ye kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ glory and strength. [7]Confundantur omnes qui adorant sculptilia, et qui gloriantur in simulacris suis. Adorate eum omnes angeli ejus.
[8]Ascribe unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ the glory due unto His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts. [8]Audivit, et lætata est Sion; et exsultaverunt filiæ Judæ, propter judicia tua, Domine.
[9]O worship ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ in the beauty of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. [9]Quoniam tu Dominus altissimus super omnem terram; nimis exaltatus es super omnes deos.
[10]Say among the nations: '‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ reigneth.' The world also is established that it cannot be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity. [10]Qui diligitis Dominum, odite malum; custodit Dominus animas sanctorum suorum, de manu peccatoris liberabit eos.
[11]Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; [11]Lux orta est justo, et rectis corde lætitia.
[12]Let the field exult; and all that is therein; then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy; [12]Lætamini, justi, in Domino, et confitemini memoriæ sanctificationis ejus.
[13]Before ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, for He is come; for He is come to judge the earth; He will judge the world righteousness, and the peoples in His faithfulness. 13[No verse]
