| [1]Μετὰ ταῦτα εἶδον, καὶ ἰδοὺ θύρα ἠνεῳγμένη ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, καὶ ἡ φωνὴ ἡ πρώτη ἣν ἤκουσα ὡς σάλπιγγος λαλούσης μετʼ ἐμοῦ, λέγων· Ἀνάβα ὧδε, καὶ δείξω σοι ἃ δεῖ γενέσθαι. μετὰ ταῦτα |
[1]From after these I saw and behold a door opened in Heaven and a voice that which I heard like a trumpet speaking with me saying come up here and I shall show you whatever is granted to happen after these things |
| [2]⸀εὐθέως ἐγενόμην ἐν πνεύματι· καὶ ἰδοὺ θρόνος ἔκειτο ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον καθήμενος, |
[2]And at once I was in The Spirit and behold a throne fixed in Heaven and upon The Throne sat He |
| [3]⸂καὶ ὁ καθήμενος⸃ ὅμοιος ὁράσει λίθῳ ἰάσπιδι καὶ σαρδίῳ, καὶ ἶρις κυκλόθεν τοῦ θρόνου ⸂ὅμοιος ὁράσει σμαραγδίνῳ⸃. |
[3]And He Who sat was as the likeness of the appearance of stone of Jasper Red Quartz and of Red and White Sardius and a rainbow of the clouds which encircled it which throne was like the appearance of an emerald |
| [4]καὶ κυκλόθεν τοῦ θρόνου ⸀θρόνοι εἴκοσι τέσσαρες, καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ⸀θρόνους εἴκοσι τέσσαρας πρεσβυτέρους καθημένους περιβεβλημένους ⸀ἐν ἱματίοις λευκοῖς, καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτῶν στεφάνους χρυσοῦς. |
[4]And around The Throne thrones twenty and four upon them but which thrones twenty and four Elders who sat who wore garments white and upon their heads crowns of gold |
| [5]καὶ ἐκ τοῦ θρόνου ἐκπορεύονται ἀστραπαὶ καὶ φωναὶ καὶ βρονταί· καὶ ἑπτὰ λαμπάδες πυρὸς καιόμεναι ἐνώπιον τοῦ θρόνου, ⸀ἅ εἰσιν ⸀τὰ ἑπτὰ πνεύματα τοῦ θεοῦ, |
[5]And from The Throne proceed thunders and lightnings and voices and seven lamps burning before it which Throne those that are The Seven Spirits of Alaha |
| [6]καὶ ἐνώπιον τοῦ θρόνου ὡς θάλασσα ὑαλίνη ὁμοία κρυστάλλῳ. Καὶ ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ κύκλῳ τοῦ θρόνου τέσσαρα ζῷα γέμοντα ὀφθαλμῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ὄπισθεν· |
[6]And before The Throne a sea of glass as a likeness of crystal and in the midst of The Throne and around it which Throne four Beasts that were full of eyes from in front of them and from behind them |
| [7]καὶ τὸ ζῷον τὸ πρῶτον ὅμοιον λέοντι, καὶ τὸ δεύτερον ζῷον ὅμοιον μόσχῳ, καὶ τὸ τρίτον ζῷον ⸀ἔχων ⸂τὸ πρόσωπον ὡς⸃ ἀνθρώπου, καὶ τὸ τέταρτον ζῷον ὅμοιον ἀετῷ πετομένῳ· |
[7]The beast first was like a lion and the beast second the likeness of a calf and the beast third had to him a face like a son of man and the beast fourth the likeness of an eagle flying |
| [8]καὶ τὰ τέσσαρα ζῷα, ἓν ⸂καθʼ ἓν⸃ ⸀αὐτῶν ⸀ἔχων ἀνὰ πτέρυγας ἕξ, κυκλόθεν καὶ ἔσωθεν γέμουσιν ὀφθαλμῶν· καὶ ἀνάπαυσιν οὐκ ἔχουσιν ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς λέγοντες· Ἅγιος ἅγιος ἅγιος κύριος, ὁ θεός, ὁ παντοκράτωρ, ὁ ἦν καὶ ὁ ὢν καὶ ὁ ἐρχόμενος. |
[8]These four Beasts each one of them stood and there was to it from its appendages and over it six wings surrounding and from within they are full of eyes and silence there is not to them day and night saying holy holy holy the Lord Alaha holding all He Who being was and is and is coming |
| [9]καὶ ὅταν ⸀δώσουσιν τὰ ζῷα δόξαν καὶ τιμὴν καὶ εὐχαριστίαν τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ ⸂τῷ θρόνῳ⸃, τῷ ζῶντι εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων, |
[9]And when give these four Beasts glory and honor and acceptance of grace to Him sitting on The Throne and to Him Who lives to the eternity of eternities truly |
| [10]πεσοῦνται οἱ εἴκοσι τέσσαρες πρεσβύτεροι ἐνώπιον τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου, καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν τῷ ζῶντι εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων, καὶ βαλοῦσιν τοὺς στεφάνους αὐτῶν ἐνώπιον τοῦ θρόνου, λέγοντες· |
[10]Fall down twenty and four The Elders in front of Him sitting on The Throne and worship to the eternity of eternities truly The One Living and will cast their crowns before The Throne while saying |
| [11]Ἄξιος εἶ, ὁ κύριος καὶ ὁ θεὸς ⸀ἡμῶν, λαβεῖν τὴν δόξαν καὶ τὴν τιμὴν καὶ τὴν δύναμιν, ὅτι σὺ ἔκτισας ⸀τὰ πάντα, καὶ διὰ τὸ θέλημά σου ἦσαν καὶ ἐκτίσθησαν. |
[11]"You worthy are our Lord and our Alaha to receive the glory and the honor and the power because You have created all things and by Your pleasure they exist and were created |
