[1]I beg therefore of you my brethren by the mercies of Alaha that you present your bodies sacrifices living and holy and acceptable to Alaha by a service logical |
[1]I BESEECH then of you, my brethren, by the mercies of Aloha, that you presentⓘ your bodies a sacrifice, living and holy and acceptable unto Aloha, in a rationalⓘ service. |
[2]And do not imitate you world this but be transformed by the renovation of your minds and you shall distinguish which? is the will of Alaha good and acceptable and perfect |
[2]And be not likened unto this world, but be changed by the renewing of your minds, that you may discern what is the will of Aloha, good, and acceptable, and perfect. |
[3]Say I but by the grace that is given to me to you all that not you should have self esteem outside of what is necessary to have self esteem but you should have self esteem in modesty every person as distributes to him Alaha faith by a measure |
[3]But I tell you all through the grace which is given to me, that you are not to think beyond what it is proper to think; but that you think with sobriety, every man as Aloha hath divided to him faith in measure. |
[4]Just as for in one body members many are to us and all of those members not have one function to them |
[4]For as in one body we have many members, and as all the members have not one work, |
[5]In this way also we who many are one we are body in The Messiah each one of us but members we are of each other |
[5]So also we who are many are one body in the Meshiha; but we are each of us members one of another. |
[6]But there are to us gifts of a variety according to the grace that is given us there is that of prophesy according to the measure of his faith |
[6]But we have various gifts according to the grace that is given to us: is it prophecy? [let him who has received it] prophesy according to the measure of the faith. |
[7]And there is that of ministry it is to one in his service and there is that of teacher that is in his learning |
[7]Hath [another the gift] of ministry? [let him be employed] in his ministry; he who is a teacher, [let him labour] in his teaching; |
[8]And there is that of a comforter which is in his comforting and a giver in generosity and a leader chief with diligence and that of caregiver with cheerfulness |
[8]He who is an exhorter, in his exhorting; as he who giveth, (let him give with simplicity;) and he who presideth,ⓘ [let it be] with diligence; and he who [is engaged in works] of mercy, with cheerfulness. |
[9]And not let be deceitful your love but be you hating evil and cleaving to the good |
[9]And let not your love be guileful; abhor things evil, cleave to the good. |
[10]Be you affectionate to your brethren and love one another be you preferring honoring one another |
[10]Be tender to your brethren, and love one another, being forward to honour one another. |
[11]Be you diligent and do not be lazy be you enthusiastic in spirit be you working for your Lord |
[11]Be diligent, and not slothful, be fervent in spirit, be serving your Lord. |
[12]Be you rejoicing in your hope be you enduring your afflictions be you persisting in prayer |
[12]Rejoice in your hope, sustain your afflictions, be constant in prayer; |
[13]Be you partakers with the needs of the holy ones be you be friends of strangers |
[13]Distributing to the necessity of the saints. Be kind to strangers. |
[14]Bless your persecutors bless and do not curse |
[14]Bless your persecutors; bless, and curse not. |
[15]Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep |
[15]Rejoice with them who rejoice, and weep with them who weep. |
[16]And whatever esteem you about yourselves do also about your brethren and do not esteem you opinions high but go out to those who are humble and not be you wise in opinions of yourselves |
[16]And what you think of yourselves, [that] also think of your brethren; nor think with a high mind, but incline to them who are humble; and be not wise in the conceit of your own mind. |
[17]And do not repay a person evil for evil but it should concern you to do good before the children of men all of them |
[17]And repay to no man evil for evil, but be careful to do good before all men. |
[18]And if it is possible according to what is from within you with every person peace make |
[18]And if possible, as much as is in you, with all men make peace. |
[19]And not be you avenging you yourselves beloved but give place to rage is written it for that if not you will execute judgment for yourself I I shall execute your judgment says Alaha |
[19]And avenge not yourselves, my beloved, but give place unto wrath; for it is written, that if thou execute not judgment for thyself, I will execute thy judgment, saith Aloha. |
[20]And if hungers your enemy feed him and if he thirsts give him drink and if these you do to him coals of fire you will heap on his skull |
[20]And if thy adversary hunger, feed him; and if he thirst, give him drink: and if these things thou do unto him, coals of fire thou wilt heap upon his head. |
[21]Not be you overcome by evil but overcome evil by good |
[21]Let not evil overcome you, but overcome evil with good. |
