| [1]You but speak what is fitting for teaching sound |
[1]אנת דינ מלל מדמ דיאא ליולפנא חלימא |
| [2]And teach that should be elders watchful in their minds and to be modest and to be pure and to be sound in faith and in love and in patience |
[2]ואלפ דנהוונ קשׁישׁא עירינ ברעיניהונ ונהוונ נכפינ ונהוונ דכינ ונהוונ חלימינ בהימנותא ובחובא ובמסיברנותא |
| [3]And also elder women in this way to be in appearance fitting for the worship of Alaha and not to be slanderers neither to be subservient to wine much and to be teachers of excellence |
[3]ואפ קשׁישׁתא הכנא דנהוינ באסכמא דיאא לדחלת אלהא ולא נהוינ אכלנ קרצא ולא נהוינ משׁעבדנ לחמרא סגיאא ונהוינ מלפנ שׁפירתא |
| [4]And chasten those who are young women to love their husbands and their children |
[4]ומנכפנ לאילינ דטלינ דנרחמנ בעליהינ ובניהינ |
| [5]And to be chaste and holy and to be taking caring good of their households and obeying their husbands lest anyone blaspheme against the word of Alaha |
[5]ונהוינ נכפנ וקדישׁנ ונהוינ יצפנ שׁפיר דבתיהינ ומשׁתעבדנ לבעליהינ דלא אנשׁ נגדפ על מלתה דאלהא |
| [6]And of those young men in this way beseech to be serious |
[6]ומנ אילינ דטלינ הכנא בעי דנהוונ נכפינ |
| [7]In all things but a model yourself show in all works good and in your teaching let be your speech wholesome |
[7]בכלמדמ דינ דמותא בנפשׁכ חוא בכל עבדא טבא ובמלפנותכ תהוא לכ מלתא חלימתא |
| [8]That is serious and not corrupt and not a man let despise it that he who stands against us may be ashamed as not he will be able to say against us anything adverse |
[8]דנכפא ולא מחבלא ולא אנשׁ בסר לה דאינא דקאמ לקובלנ נבהת כד לא נשׁכח דנאמר עלינ מדמ דסנא |
| [9]Servants to their masters let be subject in all things and be pleasing and not let them resist |
[9]עבדא למריהונ נשׁתעבדונ בכלמדמ ונשׁתפרונ ולא הוו מעצינ |
| [10]Neither let them steal but let them show their loyalty good in all things to adorn in all things the doctrine of Alaha our Lifegiver |
[10]ולא הוו גנבינ אלא נחוונ שׁררהונ טבא בכלמדמ דנצבתונ בכלמדמ יולפנה דאלהא מחיננ |
| [11]Has been revealed for the grace of Alaha giving life to all the children of men all of them |
[11]אתגלית גיר טיבותה דאלהא מחית כל לבנינשׁא כלהונ |
| [12]And it leads us to reject wickedness and lusts of the world and to live in world this in purity and in righteousness and in the worship of Alaha |
[12]ורדיא לנ דנכפור ברושׁעא וברגיגתא דעלמא ונחא בעלמא הנא בנכפותא ובכאנותא ובדחלת אלהא |
| [13]While we look for the hope blessed and the revelation of the glory of Alaha The Great and our Lifegiver Ieshu The Messiah |
[13]כד מסכיננ לסברא בריכא ולגלינא דתשׁבוחתה דאלהא רבא ומחיננ ישׁוע משׁיחא |
| [14]Who gave Himself in our place to redeem us from all evil and to purify for Himself a people new which is zealous of works good |
[14]דהו יהב נפשׁה חלפינ דנפרקנ מנ כל עולא ונדכינ לנפשׁה עמא חדתא דחסמ בעבדא טבא |
| [15]These things speak and seek and rebuke with all authority and not a man let despise you |
[15]הלינ מלל ובעי וכונ בכל פוקדנ ולא אנשׁ נבסא בכ |
