[1]AND I turned and lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. |
| [2]In the firstH7223 chariotH4818 were redH122 horsesH5483; and in the secondH8145 chariotH4818 blackH7838 horsesH5483; |
[2]In the first chariot were red horses; in the second chariot black horses; |
| [3]And in the thirdH7992 chariotH4818 whiteH3836 horsesH5483; and in the fourthH7243 chariotH4818 grisledH1261 and bayH554 horsesH5483. |
[3]In the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled horses. |
| [4]Then I answeredH6030[H8799] and saidH559[H8799] unto the angelH4397 that talkedH1696[H8802] with me, What are these, my lordH113? |
[4]Then I answered and said to the angel who talked with me, What are these, my lord? |
| [5]And the angelH4397 answeredH6030[H8799] and saidH559[H8799] unto me, These are the fourH702 spiritsH7307 of the heavensH8064, which go forthH3318[H8802] from standingH3320[H8692] before the LordH113 of all the earthH776. |
[5]And the angel answered and said to me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, who stand in the presence of the LORD of all the earth. |
| [6]The blackH7838 horsesH5483 which are therein go forthH3318[H8802] into the northH6828 countryH776; and the whiteH3836 go forthH3318[H8804] afterH310 them; and the grisledH1261 go forthH3318[H8804] toward the southH8486 countryH776. |
[6]The chariot in which are black horses goes forth to the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grizzled go forth to the south country, |
| [7]And the bayH554 went forthH3318[H8804], and soughtH1245[H8762] to goH3212[H8800] that they might walk to and froH1980[H8692] through the earthH776: and he saidH559[H8799], Get you henceH3212[H8798], walk to and froH1980[H8690] through the earthH776. [7]And the red horses went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth; and he said to them, Go, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. |

[8]Then he cried and said to me, Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country |

[9]And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |
| [10]TakeH3947[H8800] of them of the captivityH1473, even of HeldaiH2469, of TobijahH2900, and of JedaiahH3048, which are comeH935[H8804] from BabylonH894, and comeH935[H8804] thou the same dayH3117, and goH935[H8804] into the houseH1004 of JosiahH2977 the sonH1121 of ZephaniahH6846; |
[10]Take of them of the captivity, even of Holdai and of Tobijah and of Jedaiah, and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah who has come from Babylon; |
| [11]Then takeH3947[H8804] silverH3701 and goldH2091, and makeH6213[H8804] crownsH5850, and setH7760[H8804] them upon the headH7218 of JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of JosedechH3087, the highH1419 priestH3548; |
[11]Then take his silver and his gold, and make a crown and set it upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest; |
| [12]And speakH559[H8804] unto him, sayingH559[H8800], Thus speakethH559[H8804] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, sayingH559[H8800], Behold the manH376 whose nameH8034 is The BRANCHH6780; and he shall grow upH6779[H8799] out of his place, and he shall buildH1129[H8804] the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068: |
[12]And say to him, Thus says the LORD of hosts: Behold, the man whose name is Denkha shall rise up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD. |
| [13]Even he shall buildH1129[H8799] the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068; and he shall bearH5375[H8799] the gloryH1935, and shall sitH3427[H8804] and ruleH4910[H8804] upon his throneH3678; and he shall be a priestH3548 upon his throneH3678: and the counselH6098 of peaceH7965 shall be between them bothH8147. |
[13]Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. |
| [14]And the crownsH5850 shall be to HelemH2494, and to TobijahH2900, and to JedaiahH3048, and to HenH2581 the sonH1121 of ZephaniahH6846, for a memorialH2146 in the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068. |
[14]And the crown shall be to Holdai and to Tobiah and to Jedaiah and to Josiah the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD. |
| [15]And they that are far offH7350 shall comeH935[H8799] and buildH1129[H8804] in the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068, and ye shall knowH3045[H8804] that the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 hath sentH7971[H8804] me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligentlyH8085[H8800] obeyH8085[H8799] the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430. |
[15]And those who are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass if you will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God |
