| [1]Paul an Apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior, and of our Lord Jesus Christ our hope, |
[1]Paul an apostle of Ieshu The Messiah by the commandment of Alaha our Lifegiver and of The Messiah Ieshu our Hope |
| [2]Unto Timotheus my natural son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father, and from Christ Jesus our Lord. |
[2]To Timotheos a son true in faith grace and mercy and peace from Alaha our Father and The Messiah Ieshu our Lord |
| [3]As I besought thee to abide still in Ephesus, when I departed into Macedonia, so do, that thou mayest command some, that they teach none other doctrine, |
[3]Requesting I was of you when went I to Maqedonia that you remain in Ephesus and that you command certain men that not they teach teachings different |
| [4]Neither that they give heed to fables and genealogies which are endless, which breed questions rather than godly edifying which is by faith. |
[4]And not they should give heed to fables and to accounts of genealogies of which an end there is not to them these things contentions are producing all the more and not edification in the faith of Alaha |
| [5]For the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned. |
[5]The sum but of the commandments is love that from a heart pure and from a conscience good and from faith true |
| [6]From the which things some have erred, and have turned unto vain jangling. |
[6]And some of them from these things have strayed people they have turned away to words empty |
| [7]They would be doctors of the Law, and yet understand not what they speak, neither whereof they affirm. |
[7]In that they seek to be teachers of The Written Law while not they understand anything that they speak neither anything about which they contend |
| [8]And we know, that the Law is good, if a man use it lawfully, |
[8]We know but that The Written Law good is if a man according to The Written Law will be led by it |
| [9]Knowing this, that the Law is not given unto a righteous man, but unto the lawless and disobedient, to the ungodly, and to sinners, to the unholy, and to the profane, to murderers of fathers and mothers, to manslayers, |
[9]While he knows that for the righteous The Written Law not was appointed but for the evil and for the rebellious and for the wicked and for sinners and for the vicious and to those who not are pure and to those who hit their fathers and for those who hit their mothers and for murderers |
| [10]To whoremongers, to buggerers, to menstealers, to liars, to the perjured, and if there be any other thing, that is contrary to wholesome doctrine, |
| [11]Which is according to the glorious Gospel of the blessed God, which is committed unto me. |
[11]Of the Good News of the glory of Alaha The Blessed that with which I have been entrusted |
| [12]Therefore I thank him, which hath made me strong, that is, Christ Jesus our Lord: for he counted me faithful, and put me in his service: |
[12]And thank I Him Who has empowered me our Lord Ieshu The Messiah Who accounted me trustworthy and He has put me into His ministry |
| [13]When before I was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an oppressor: but I was received to mercy: for I did it ignorantly through unbelief. |
[13]To me who from the first a blasphemer I was and a persecutor and abusive but I obtained mercy because while not known I had what I did without faith |
| [14]But the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love, which is in Christ Jesus. |
[14]Abounded in me but the grace of our Lord and faith and love which are in Ieshu The Messiah |
| [15]This is a true saying, and by all means worthy to be received, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. |
[15]Trustworthy is this saying and worthy it is of its acceptance that Ieshu The Messiah came to the universe to save sinners of whom foremost I am |
| [16]Notwithstanding, for this cause was I received to mercy, that Jesus Christ should first show on me all long suffering unto the ensample of them, which shall in time to come believe in him unto eternal life. |
[16]But because of this He showed mercy to me that in me first may show Ieshu The Messiah all patience of His Spirit for the example of those who are going to believe in Him to life eternal |
| [17]Now unto the King everlasting, immortal, invisible, unto God only wise, be honor and glory forever, and ever, Amen. |
[17]To The King but of the universe to Him Who not is destructible and not seen Who is One Alaha honor and glory to the eternity of eternities Amen |
| [18]This commandment commit I unto thee, son Timotheus, according to the prophecies, which went before upon thee, that thou by them shouldest fight a good fight, |
[18]This decree commit I to you my son Timotheos according to the prophecies former that were about you that you may war by them warfare this excellent |
| [19]Having faith and a good conscience, which some have put away, and as concerning faith, have made shipwreck. |
[19]In faith and in conscience good those for who this have rejected from them of faith have been emptied |
| [20]Of whom is Hymeneus, and Alexander, whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they might learn not to blaspheme. |
[20]Like Humenayus and Alexandros these whom I delivered to Satan that they may be instructed that not they should blaspheme |
