[5]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, Go onH5674[H8798] beforeH6440 the peopleH5971, and takeH3947[H8798] with thee of the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478; and thy rodH4294, wherewith thou smotestH5221[H8689] the riverH2975, takeH3947[H8798] in thine handH3027, and goH1980.[H8804]
[6]Behold, I will standH5975[H8802] beforeH6440 thee there upon the rockH6697 in HorebH2722; and thou shalt smiteH5221[H8689] the rockH6697, and there shall comeH3318[H8804] waterH4325 out of it, that the peopleH5971 may drinkH8354[H8804]. And MosesH4872 didH6213[H8799] so in the sightH5869 of the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478.
[7]And he calledH7121[H8799] the nameH8034 of the placeH4725 MassahH4532, and MeribahH4809, because of the chidingH7379 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and because they temptedH5254[H8763] the LORDH3068, sayingH559[H8800], IsH3426 the LORDH3068 among us, or notH7130?
[8]Then cameH935[H8799] AmalekH6002, and foughtH3898[H8735] with IsraelH3478 in RephidimH7508.
[9]And MosesH4872 saidH559[H8799] unto JoshuaH3091, Choose us outH977[H8798] menH582, and go outH3318[H8798], fightH3898[H8734] with AmalekH6002: to morrowH4279 I will standH5324[H8737] on the topH7218 of the hillH1389 with the rodH4294 of GodH430 in mine handH3027.

[11]And it came to pass, when MosesH4872 held upH7311[H8686] his handH3027, that IsraelH3478 prevailedH1396[H8804]: and when he let downH5117[H8686] his handH3027, AmalekH6002 prevailedH1396.[H8804]
