| [1]Afterward he broughtH935[H8686] me to the templeH1964, and measuredH4058[H8799] the postsH352, sixH8337 cubitsH520 broadH7341 on the one sideH6311, and sixH8337 cubitsH520 broadH7341 on the other sideH6311, which was the breadthH7341 of the tabernacleH168. |
[1]Afterward, he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle. |
| [2]And the breadthH7341 of the doorH6607 was tenH6235 cubitsH520; and the sidesH3802 of the doorH6607 were fiveH2568 cubitsH520 on the one side, and fiveH2568 cubitsH520 on the other side: and he measuredH4058[H8799] the lengthH753 thereof, fortyH705 cubitsH520: and the breadthH7341, twentyH6242 cubitsH520. |
[2]And the breadth of the entry was ten cubits, and the sides of the entry were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side, and he measured the length thereof forty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits. |
| [3]Then wentH935[H8804] he inwardH6441, and measuredH4058[H8799] the postH352 of the doorH6607, twoH8147 cubitsH520; and the doorH6607, sixH8337 cubitsH520; and the breadthH7341 of the doorH6607, sevenH7651 cubitsH520. |
[3]Then went he in, and measured the posts of the entry two cubits, and the entry six cubits, and the breadth of the entry seven cubits. |
| [4]So he measuredH4058[H8799] the lengthH753 thereof, twentyH6242 cubitsH520; and the breadthH7341, twentyH6242 cubitsH520, beforeH6440 the templeH1964: and he saidH559[H8799] unto me, This is the mostH6944 holy placeH6944. |
[4]So he measured the length thereof twenty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits before the temple. And he said unto me, This is the most holy place. |
| [5]After he measuredH4058[H8799] the wallH7023 of the houseH1004, sixH8337 cubitsH520; and the breadthH7341 of every side chamberH6763, fourH702 cubitsH520, round aboutH5439 the houseH1004 on every sideH5439. |
[5]After, he measured the wall of the house, six cubits, and the breadth of every chamber four cubits round about the house, on every side. |
| [6]And the sideH6763 chambersH6763 were threeH7969, one over anotherH6763, and thirtyH7970 in orderH6471; and they enteredH935[H8802] into the wallH7023 which was of the houseH1004 for the side chambersH6763 round aboutH5439, that they might have holdH270[H8803], but they had not holdH270[H8803] in the wallH7023 of the houseH1004. |
[6]And the chambers were chamber upon chamber, three and thirty foot high, and they entered into the wall made for the chambers which was round about the house, that the posts might be fastened therein, and not be fastened in the wall of the house. |
| [7]And there was an enlargingH7337[H8804], and a winding aboutH5437[H8738] still upwardH4605 to the side chambersH6763: for the winding aboutH4141 of the houseH1004 went still upwardH4605 round aboutH5439 the houseH1004: therefore the breadthH7341 of the houseH1004 was still upwardH4605, and so increasedH5927[H8799] from the lowestH8481 chamber to the highestH5945 by the midstH8484. |
[7]And it was large and went round mounting upward to the chambers: for the stair of the house was mounting upward, round about the house: therefore the house was larger upward: so they went up from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst. |
| [8]I sawH7200[H8804] also the heightH1363 of the houseH1004 round aboutH5439: the foundationsH4328 of the side chambersH6763 were a fullH4393 reedH7070 of sixH8337 greatH679 cubitsH520. |
[8]I saw also the house high round about: the foundations of the chambers were a full reed of six great cubits. |
| [9]The thicknessH7341 of the wallH7023, which was for the side chamberH6763 withoutH2351, was fiveH2568 cubitsH520: and that which was leftH3240[H8716] was the placeH1004 of the side chambersH6763 that were withinH1004. |
[9]The thickness of the wall which was for the chamber without, was five cubits, and that which remained, was the place of the chambers that were within. |
| [10]And between the chambersH3957 was the widenessH7341 of twentyH6242 cubitsH520 round aboutH5439 the houseH1004 on every sideH5439. |
[10]And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side. |
| [11]And the doorsH6607 of the side chambersH6763 were toward the place that was leftH3240[H8716], oneH259 doorH6607 towardH1870 the northH6828, and anotherH259 doorH6607 toward the southH1864: and the breadthH7341 of the placeH4725 that was leftH3240[H8716] was fiveH2568 cubitsH520 round aboutH5439. |
[11]And the doors of the chambers were toward the place that remained, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south, and the breadth of the place that remained, was five cubits round about. |
| [12]Now the buildingH1146 that was beforeH6440 the separate placeH1508 at the endH6285 towardH1870 the westH3220 was seventyH7657 cubitsH520 broadH7341; and the wallH7023 of the buildingH1146 was fiveH2568 cubitsH520 thickH7341 round aboutH5439, and the lengthH753 thereof ninetyH8673 cubitsH520. |
[12]Now the building that was before the separate place toward the west corner, was seventy cubits broad, and the wall of the building was five cubits thick, round about, and the length ninety cubits. |
| [13]So he measuredH4058[H8804] the houseH1004, an hundredH3967 cubitsH520 longH753; and the separate placeH1508, and the buildingH1140, with the wallsH7023 thereof, an hundredH3967 cubitsH520 longH753; |
[13]So he measured the house an hundred cubits long, and the separate place and the building with the walls thereof were an hundred cubits long. |
| [14]Also the breadthH7341 of the faceH6440 of the houseH1004, and of the separate placeH1508 toward the eastH6921, an hundredH3967 cubitsH520. |
[14]Also the breadth of the forefront of the house and of the separate place toward the east, was an hundred cubits. |
| [15]And he measuredH4058[H8804] the lengthH753 of the buildingH1146 over againstH6440 the separate placeH1508 which was behindH310 it, and the galleriesH862 thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundredH3967 cubitsH520, with the innerH6442 templeH1964, and the porchesH197 of the courtH2691; |
[15]And he measured the length of the building, over against the separate place, which was behind it, and the chambers on the one side and on the other side an hundred cubits with the temple within, and the arches of the court. |
| [16]The door postsH5592, and the narrowH331[H8801] windowsH2474, and the galleriesH862 round aboutH5439 on their three storiesH7969, over againstH5048 the doorH5592, cieledH7824 with woodH6086 round aboutH5439, and from the groundH776 up to the windowsH2474, and the windowsH2474 H3680were coveredH8794 |
[16]The posts and the narrow windows, and the chambers round about, on three sides over against the posts, ceiled with cedar wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were ceiled. |
| [17]To that above the doorH6607, even unto the innerH6442 houseH1004, and withoutH2351, and by all the wallH7023 round aboutH5439 withinH6442 and withoutH2435, by measureH4060. |
[17]And from above the door unto the inner house and without, and by all the wall round about within and without it was ceiled according to the measure. |
| [18]And it was madeH6213[H8803] with cherubimsH3742 and palm treesH8561, so that a palm treeH8561 was between a cherubH3742 and a cherubH3742; and every cherubH3742 had twoH8147 facesH6440; |
[18]And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub: and every cherub had two faces. |
| [19]So that the faceH6440 of a manH120 was toward the palm treeH8561 on the one side, and the faceH6440 of a young lionH3715 toward the palm treeH8561 on the other side: it was madeH6213[H8803] through all the houseH1004 round aboutH5439. |
[19]So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a lion toward the palm tree on the other side: thus was it made through all the house round about. |
| [20]From the groundH776 unto above the doorH6607 were cherubimsH3742 and palm treesH8561 madeH6213[H8803], and on the wallH7023 of the templeH1964. |
[20]From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made as in the wall of the temple. |
| [21]The postsH4201 of the templeH1964 were squaredH7251[H8803], and the faceH6440 of the sanctuaryH6944; the appearanceH4758 of the one as the appearance of the otherH4758. |
[21]The posts of the temple were squared, and thus to look unto was the similitude and form of the sanctuary. |
| [22]The altarH4196 of woodH6086 was threeH7969 cubitsH520 highH1364, and the lengthH753 thereof twoH8147 cubitsH520; and the cornersH4740 thereof, and the lengthH753 thereof, and the wallsH7023 thereof, were of woodH6086: and he saidH1696[H8762] unto me, This is the tableH7979 that is beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. |
[22]The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits, and the corners thereof and the length thereof and the sides thereof were of wood. And he said unto me, This is the table that shall be before the Lord. |
| [23]And the templeH1964 and the sanctuaryH6944 had twoH8147 doorsH1817. |
[23]And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors. |
| [24]And the doorsH1817 had twoH8147 leavesH1817 apiece, twoH8147 turningH4142[H8716] leavesH1817; twoH8147 leaves for the oneH259 doorH1817, and twoH8147 leavesH1817 for the other doorH312. |
[24]And the doors had two wickets, even two turning wickets, two wickets for one door, and two wickets for another door. |
| [25]And there were madeH6213[H8803] on them, on the doorsH1817 of the templeH1964, cherubimsH3742 and palm treesH8561, like as were madeH6213[H8803] upon the wallsH7023; and there were thickH5646 planksH6086 upon the faceH6440 of the porchH197 withoutH2351. |
[25]And upon the doors of the temple there were made cherubims and palm trees, like as was made upon the walls, and there were thick planks upon the forefront of the porch without. |
| [26]And there were narrowH331[H8801] windowsH2474 and palm treesH8561 on the one side and on the other side, on the sidesH3802 of the porchH197, and upon the side chambersH6763 of the houseH1004, and thick planksH5646. |
[26]And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side, and on the other side, by the sides of the porch, and upon the sides of the house, and thick planks. |
