[1]ܗܵܢܵܘ ܣܦܲܪ ܬܵܘܠܕ݂ܵܬܹܗ ܕܐܵܕ݂ܵܡ. ܒܝܵܘܡܵܐ ܕܲܒ݂ܪܵܐ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܠܐܵܕ݂ܵܡ: ܒܲܕ݂ܡܘܼܬܼ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܒܪܵܝܗܝ. |
| [2]God formede hem male and female, and blesside hem, and clepide the name of hem Adam, in the day in which thei weren formed. |
[2]ܕܟܲܪ ܘܢܸܩܒ݂ܵܐ ܒܪܵܐ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ: ܘܒܲܪܸܟ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ: ܘܲܩܪܵܐ ܫܸܡܗܘܿܢ ܐܵܕܲܡ: ܒܝܵܘܡܵܐ ܕܲܒ݂ܪܵܐ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ. |
| [3]Forsothe Adam lyuede an hundrid yeer and thretti, and gendride a sone to his ymage and liknesse, and clepide his name Seth. |
[3]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܐܵܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܬܼܠܵܬܼܝܼܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒܕܲܡܼܘܼܬܹܗ ܐܲܝܟ ܨܲܠܡܹܗ: ܘܲܩܪܵܐ ܫܡܹܗ ܫܹܝܬܼ. |
| [4]And the daies of Adam after that he gendride Seth weren maad eiyte hundrid yeer, and he gendride sones and douytris. |
[4]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܐܵܕ݂ܵܡ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܫܹܝܬܼ ܬܡܵܢܹܡܵܐܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒܢܲܝܵ̈ܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [5]And al the tyme in which Adam lyuede was maad nyne hundrid yeer and thretti, and he was deed. |
[5]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܐܵܕ݂ܵܡ ܕܲܚܝܵܐ: ܬܫܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܬܼܠܵܬܼܝܼܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [6]Also Seth lyuede an hundrid and fyue yeer, and gendride Enos. |
[6]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܫܹܝܬܼ ܡܵܐܐ ܘܚܲܡܫܝܼܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܵܢܘܼܫ. |
| [7]And Seth lyuede aftir that he gendride Enos eiyte hundrid and seuen yeer, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[7]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܫܹܝܬܼ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܵܢܘܼܫ: ܬܡܵܢܹܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܫܒܲܥ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒܢܲܝܵ̈ܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [8]And alle the daies of Seth weren maad nyne hundrid and twelue yeer, and he was deed. |
[8]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܫܹܝܬܼ ܬܫܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܬܲܪܬܲܥܸܣܪܹ̈ܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [9]Forsothe Enos lyuede nynti yeer, and gendride Caynan; |
[9]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܐܵܢܘܼܫ ܬܸܫܥܝܼܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܩܲܝܢܵܢ. |
| [10]aftir whos birthe Enos lyuede eiyte hundrid and fiftene yeer, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[10]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܐܵܢܘܼܫ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܩܲܝܢܵܢ: ܬܡܵܢܹܡܵܐܐ ܘܚܲܡܫܲܥܸܣܪܹ̈ܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒܢܲܝܵ̈ܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [11]And alle the daies of Enos weren maad nyne hundrid and fyue yeer, and he was deed. |
[11]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܐܵܢܘܼܫ ܬܫܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܚܲܡܸܫ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [12]Also Caynan lyuyde seuenti yeer, and gendride Malalehel. |
[12]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܩܲܝܢܵܢ ܫܲܒ݂ܥܝܼܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܡܲܗܠܵܠܵܐܝܹܠ. |
| [13]And Caynan lyuede after that he gendride Malalehel eiyte hundrid and fourti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[13]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܩܲܝܢܵܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܡܲܗܠܵܠܵܐܝܹܠ ܬܡܵܢܹܡܵܐܐ ܘܐܲܪܒܿܥܝܼܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒܢܲܝܵ̈ܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [14]And alle the dayes of Caynan weren maad nyn hundrid and ten yeer, and he was deed. |
[14]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܩܲܝܢܵܢ ܬܫܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܥܣܲܪ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [15]Forsothe Malalehel lyuede sixti yeer and fyue, and gendride Jared. |
[15]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܡܲܗܠܵܠܵܐܝܹܠ ܫܬܿܝܼܢ ܘܚܲܡܸܫ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܝܲܪܕ. |
| [16]And Malalehel lyuede aftir that he gendride Jared eiyte hundrid and thretti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[16]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܡܲܗܠܵܠܵܐܝܹܠ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܝܲܪܕ: ܬܡܵܢܹܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܬܼܠܵܬܼܝܼܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒܢܲܝܵ̈ܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [17]And alle the daies of Malalehel weren maad eiyte hundrid nynti and fyue yeer, and he was deed. |
[17]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܡܲܗܠܵܠܵܐܝܹܠ ܬܡܵܢܹܡܵܐܐ ܘܬܸܫܥܝܼܢ ܘܚܲܡܸܫ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [18]And Jared lyuede an hundrid and two and sixti yeer, and gendride Enoth. |
[18]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܝܲܪܕ ܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܫܬܼܝܼܢ ܘܬܲܪܬܹܝܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܲܚܢܘܿܟ. |
| [19]And Jared lyuede aftir that he gendride Enoth eiyte hundrid yeer, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[19]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܝܲܪܕ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܲܚܢܘܿܟ. ܬܡܵܢܹܡܵܐܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒ̈ܢܲܝܵܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [20]And alle the dayes of Jared weren maad nyn hundrid and twei and sexti yeer, and he was deed. |
[20]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܝܲܪܕ ܬܫܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܫܬܼܝܼܢ ܘܬܲܪܬܹܝܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [21]Forsothe Enoth lyuede fyue and sixti yeer, and gendride Matusalem. |
[21]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܚܢܘܿܟ݂ ܫܬܿܝܼܢ ܘܚܲܡܸܫ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܡܲܬܿܘܼܫܠܵܚ. |
| [22]And Enoth yede with God; and Enoth lyuede after that he gendride Matusalem thre hundrid yeer, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[22]ܘܲܫܦܲܪ ܚܢܘܿܟ ܠܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܡܲܬܿܘܼܫܠܵܚ: ܬܠܵܬܼ ܡܵܐܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒ̈ܢܲܝܵܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [23]And alle the daies of Enoth weren maad thre hundride and fyue and sexti yeer. |
[23]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܲܚܢܘܿܟ ܬܠܵܬܼ ܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܫܬܼܝܼܢ ܘܚܲܡܸܫ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ. |
| [24]And Enoth yeed with God, and apperide not afterward, for God took hym awei. |
[24]ܘܲܫܦܲܪ ܚܢܘܿܟ ܠܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܘܠܲܝܬܵܘܗܝ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܢܲܣܒܹܗ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ. |
| [25]Also Matusalem lyuede an hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and seuene, and gendride Lameth. |
[25]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܡܲܬܿܘܼܫܠܵܚ ܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܬܼܡܵܢܐܝܼܢ ܘܲܫܒܲܥ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܠܲܡܲܟ. |
| [26]And Matusalem lyuede after that he gendride Lameth seuene hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and twei, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[26]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܡܲܬܿܘܼܫܠܵܚ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܠܲܡܲܟ: ܫܒܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܬܼܡܵܢܐܝܼܢ ܘܬܲܪܬܹܝܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒ̈ܢܲܝܵܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [27]And alle the daies of Matusale weren maad nyn hundrid and nyn and sixti yeer, and he was deed. |
[27]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܡܲܬܿܘܼܫܠܵܚ ܬܫܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܫܬܼܝܼܢ ܘܲܬܼܫܲܥ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [28]Forsothe Lameth lyuede an hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and two, and gendride a sone; |
[28]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܠܲܡܟ ܡܵܐܐ ܘܲܬܼܡܵܢܐܝܼܢ ܘܬܲܪܬܹܝܢ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒܪܵܐ. |
| [29]and clepide his name Noe, and seide, This man schal comforte vs of the werkis and traueilis of oure hondis, in the loond which the Lord curside. |
[29]ܘܲܩܪܵܐ ܫܡܹܗ ܢܘܿܚ: ܘܐܸܡܲܪ݂: ܗܵܢܵܐ ܢܒܲܝܐܲܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܥܒ݂ܵܕܲܝ̈ܢ ܘܡ̣ܢ ܥܲܡܠܵܐ ܕܐܝܼܕܲܝ̈ܢ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܠܵܛܵܗ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [30]And Lameth lyuede after that he gendride Noe fyue hundrid `nynti and fyue yeer, and gendride sones and douytris. |
[30]ܘܲܚܝܵܐ ܠܲܡܟ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܕܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܢܘܿܚ ܚܲܡܸܫܡܵܐܐ ܘܬܸܫܥܝܼܢ ܘܚܲܡܸܫ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܒ̈ܢܲܝܵܐ ܘܲܒ݂̈ܢܵܬܼܵܐ. |
| [31]And alle the daies of Lameth weren maad seuene hundrid `thre scoor and seuentene yeer, and he was deed. |
[31]ܘܲܗܘܵܘ ܟܠ ܝܵܘܡܘ̈ܗܝ. ܕܠܲܡܟ ܫܒܲܥܡܵܐܐ ܘܫܲܒ݂ܥܝܼܢ ܘܲܫܒܲܥ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܡܝܼܬܼ. |
| [32]ܘܲܗ̤ܘܵܐ ܢܘܿܚ ܒܲܪ ܚܲܡܸܫܡܵܐܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܘܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܢܘܿܚ ܠܫܹܝܡ: ܘܲܠܚܵܡ: ܘܲܠܝܲܦ̮ܬܿ. |
