| [1]ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῶ τὸν ὄχλον ἐπικεῖσθαι αὐτῶ καὶ ἀκούειν τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν ἑστὼς παρὰ τὴν λίμνην γεννησαρέτ, |
[1]It happened but when gathered about Him the crowd to hear the word of Alaha and He standing was on the side The Lake of Genesar |
| [2]καὶ εἶδεν δύο πλοῖα ἑστῶτα παρὰ τὴν λίμνην· οἱ δὲ ἁλιεῖς ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν ἀποβάντες ἔπλυνον τὰ δίκτυα. |
[2]He saw ships two that stood on the shore of the lake and the fishermen who had came down from them and were washing their nets |
| [3]ἐμβὰς δὲ εἰς ἓν τῶν πλοίων, ὃ ἦν σίμωνος, ἠρώτησεν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἐπαναγαγεῖν ὀλίγον, καθίσας δὲ ἐκ τοῦ πλοίου ἐδίδασκεν τοὺς ὄχλους. |
[3]And one of them of Shimeon was Kaypha and went up Ieshu He sat down in it and He said they should take it out a little from dry land into the water and sat down He and He taught from the ship the crowds |
| [4]ὡς δὲ ἐπαύσατο λαλῶν, εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν σίμωνα, ἐπανάγαγε εἰς τὸ βάθος καὶ χαλάσατε τὰ δίκτυα ὑμῶν εἰς ἄγραν. |
[4]And when He had ceased from His speaking He said to Shimeon take to the deep and cast your nets for a catch |
| [5]καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς σίμων εἶπεν, ἐπιστάτα, δι᾽ ὅλης νυκτὸς κοπιάσαντες οὐδὲν ἐλάβομεν, ἐπὶ δὲ τῶ ῥήματί σου χαλάσω τὰ δίκτυα. |
[5]Answered Shimeon and he said to Him Rabbi night all we have worked and a thing not we have taken on Your word but will cast I the net |
| [6]καὶ τοῦτο ποιήσαντες συνέκλεισαν πλῆθος ἰχθύων πολύ, διερρήσσετο δὲ τὰ δίκτυα αὐτῶν. |
[6]And when this they had done they caught fish many very and braking was their net |
| [7]καὶ κατένευσαν τοῖς μετόχοις ἐν τῶ ἑτέρῳ πλοίῳ τοῦ ἐλθόντας συλλαβέσθαι αὐτοῖς· καὶ ἦλθον, καὶ ἔπλησαν ἀμφότερα τὰ πλοῖα ὥστε βυθίζεσθαι αὐτά. |
[7]And they beckoned their partners who were in a ship another to come help them and when they came they filled those ships two so that near they were to sinking |
| [8]ἰδὼν δὲ σίμων πέτρος προσέπεσεν τοῖς γόνασιν ἰησοῦ λέγων, ἔξελθε ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ, ὅτι ἀνὴρ ἁμαρτωλός εἰμι, κύριε· |
[8]When saw but Shimeon Kaypha fell before the feet of Ieshu and he said to Him beg I of you My Lord abandon You me for a man I am a sinner |
| [9]θάμβος γὰρ περιέσχεν αὐτὸν καὶ πάντας τοὺς σὺν αὐτῶ ἐπὶ τῇ ἄγρᾳ τῶν ἰχθύων ὧν συνέλαβον, |
[9]Awe for seized him had and all of them who were with him due to catch that of fish that they had caught |
| [10]ὁμοίως δὲ καὶ ἰάκωβον καὶ ἰωάννην υἱοὺς ζεβεδαίου, οἳ ἦσαν κοινωνοὶ τῶ σίμωνι. καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν σίμωνα ὁ ἰησοῦς, μὴ φοβοῦ· ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν ἀνθρώπους ἔσῃ ζωγρῶν. |
[10]So but also Yaqob and Yokhanan sons of Zebedee who were partners of Shimeon said but Ieshu to Shimeon not fear from this hour sons of men you will be catching for salvation |
| [11]καὶ καταγαγόντες τὰ πλοῖα ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἀφέντες πάντα ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῶ. |
[11]And they brought those ships to the land and they left every thing and they came after Him |
| [12]καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῶ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεων καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ πλήρης λέπρας· ἰδὼν δὲ τὸν ἰησοῦν πεσὼν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐδεήθη αὐτοῦ λέγων, κύριε, ἐὰν θέλῃς δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι. |
[12]And when was Ieshu in one of the cities came a man who was full entirely of leprosy he saw Ieshu and he fell on his face and begged he from Him and he said to Him my Lord if willing you are can you purify Me |
| [13]καὶ ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ἥψατο αὐτοῦ λέγων, θέλω, καθαρίσθητι· καὶ εὐθέως ἡ λέπρα ἀπῆλθεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ. |
[13]And reached His hand Ieshu He touched him and He said to him willing I am be purified and son of a moment went from him his leprosy and he was purified |
| [14]καὶ αὐτὸς παρήγγειλεν αὐτῶ μηδενὶ εἰπεῖν, ἀλλὰ ἀπελθὼν δεῖξον σεαυτὸν τῶ ἱερεῖ, καὶ προσένεγκε περὶ τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ σου καθὼς προσέταξεν μωϊσῆς, εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς. |
[14]And He commanded him "man no you shall tell but go show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing just as commanded Moshe for their testimony" |
| [15]διήρχετο δὲ μᾶλλον ὁ λόγος περὶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ συνήρχοντο ὄχλοι πολλοὶ ἀκούειν καὶ θεραπεύεσθαι ἀπὸ τῶν ἀσθενειῶν αὐτῶν· |
[15]And went out about Him fame increasingly and gathered were people many to hear from Him and to be healed from their sicknesses |
| [16]αὐτὸς δὲ ἦν ὑποχωρῶν ἐν ταῖς ἐρήμοις καὶ προσευχόμενος. |
[16]He but departing was to the wilderness and praying |
| [17]καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν μιᾷ τῶν ἡμερῶν καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν διδάσκων, καὶ ἦσαν καθήμενοι φαρισαῖοι καὶ νομοδιδάσκαλοι οἳ ἦσαν ἐληλυθότες ἐκ πάσης κώμης τῆς γαλιλαίας καὶ ἰουδαίας καὶ ἰερουσαλήμ· καὶ δύναμις κυρίου ἦν εἰς τὸ ἰᾶσθαι αὐτόν. |
[17]And it happened on one of the days when teaching was Ieshu sitting were the Pharisees and teachers of the law who come had from every village of Galila and of Judea and of Jerusalem and the power of the Lord there was to heal them |
| [18]καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες φέροντες ἐπὶ κλίνης ἄνθρωπον ὃς ἦν παραλελυμένος, καὶ ἐζήτουν αὐτὸν εἰσενεγκεῖν καὶ θεῖναι [αὐτὸν] ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ. |
[18]And men brought on a pallet a man one a paralytic man and seeking they were to enter to place him in front of Him |
| [19]καὶ μὴ εὑρόντες ποίας εἰσενέγκωσιν αὐτὸν διὰ τὸν ὄχλον ἀναβάντες ἐπὶ τὸ δῶμα διὰ τῶν κεράμων καθῆκαν αὐτὸν σὺν τῶ κλινιδίῳ εἰς τὸ μέσον ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ ἰησοῦ. |
[19]And when not they found which way they might bring him in because of the crowd of people they went up by themselves to the roof and lowered him with the pallet from the tiles into the midst in front of Ieshu |
| [20]καὶ ἰδὼν τὴν πίστιν αὐτῶν εἶπεν, ἄνθρωπε, ἀφέωνταί σοι αἱ ἁμαρτίαι σου. |
[20]When saw but Ieshu their faith He said to that paralyzed man man are forgiven to you your sins |
| [21]καὶ ἤρξαντο διαλογίζεσθαι οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ φαρισαῖοι λέγοντες, τίς ἐστιν οὖτος ὃς λαλεῖ βλασφημίας; τίς δύναται ἁμαρτίας ἀφεῖναι εἰ μὴ μόνος ὁ θεός; |
[21]And started the Scribes and the Pharisees to think and they were saying Who is? This Who speaks blasphemy Who? is able to forgive sins except if Alaha only |
| [22]ἐπιγνοὺς δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς αὐτῶν ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς, τί διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν; |
[22]Ieshu but knew their thoughts He answered and said to them what? thoughts are entertained by you in your heart |
| [23]τί ἐστιν εὐκοπώτερον, εἰπεῖν, ἀφέωνταί σοι αἱ ἁμαρτίαι σου, ἢ εἰπεῖν, ἔγειρε καὶ περιπάτει; |
[23]Which? is easier to say are forgiven to you your sins or to say arise and walk |
| [24]ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας _ εἶπεν τῶ παραλελυμένῳ, σοὶ λέγω, ἔγειρε καὶ ἄρας τὸ κλινίδιόν σου πορεύου εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου. |
[24]That you may know but that authorized is Son of Man in the earth that He may forgive sins He said to the paralyzed man to you say I arise pick up your pallet and go to your house |
| [25]καὶ παραχρῆμα ἀναστὰς ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν, ἄρας ἐφ᾽ ὃ κατέκειτο, ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ δοξάζων τὸν θεόν. |
[25]And at once he arose before their eyes and took up his pallet and he went on to his house as he praised to Alaha |
| [26]καὶ ἔκστασις ἔλαβεν ἅπαντας καὶ ἐδόξαζον τὸν θεόν, καὶ ἐπλήσθησαν φόβου λέγοντες ὅτι εἴδομεν παράδοξα σήμερον. |
[26]And astonishment seized everyone and praising they were to Alaha and they were filled with awe and they were saying we have seen today wonders |
| [27]καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξῆλθεν καὶ ἐθεάσατο τελώνην ὀνόματι λευὶν καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῶ, ἀκολούθει μοι. |
[27]After these things went out Ieshu and He saw a tax collector whose name Levi who sat in the house of customs and He said to him come after Me |
| [28]καὶ καταλιπὼν πάντα ἀναστὰς ἠκολούθει αὐτῶ. |
[28]And he left every thing and rising he went after Him |
| [29]καὶ ἐποίησεν δοχὴν μεγάλην λευὶς αὐτῶ ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἦν ὄχλος πολὺς τελωνῶν καὶ ἄλλων οἳ ἦσαν μετ᾽ αὐτῶν κατακείμενοι. |
[29]And made for Him Levi in his house a reception great and there was a crowd great of tax gatherers and of others who reclining at dinner were with them |
| [30]καὶ ἐγόγγυζον οἱ φαρισαῖοι καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶν πρὸς τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ λέγοντες, διὰ τί μετὰ τῶν τελωνῶν καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐσθίετε καὶ πίνετε; |
[30]And complaining were the Scribes and the Pharisees and they were saying to His disciples why? with tax collectors and sinners do eat you and do drink |
| [31]καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς, οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν οἱ ὑγιαίνοντες ἰατροῦ ἀλλὰ οἱ κακῶς ἔχοντες· |
[31]And answered Ieshu and He said to them not is sought a doctor for the healthy but for those who are ill ill or are becoming |
| [32]οὐκ ἐλήλυθα καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλοὺς εἰς μετάνοιαν. |
[32]Not I have come that I may call the righteous but sinners to repentance |
| [33]οἱ δὲ εἶπαν πρὸς αὐτόν, οἱ μαθηταὶ ἰωάννου νηστεύουσιν πυκνὰ καὶ δεήσεις ποιοῦνται, ὁμοίως καὶ οἱ τῶν φαρισαίων, οἱ δὲ σοὶ ἐσθίουσιν καὶ πίνουσιν. |
[33]Those but were saying to Him why? the disciples of Yokhanan do fast faithfully and do pray also of the Pharisees yours but are eating and drinking |
| [34]ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς, μὴ δύνασθε τοὺς υἱοὺς τοῦ νυμφῶνος ἐν ᾧ ὁ νυμφίος μετ᾽ αὐτῶν ἐστιν ποιῆσαι νηστεῦσαι; |
[34]He but said to them not are able you the children of the bridal chamber as long as the groom is with them that you shall make them that they shall fast |
| [35]ἐλεύσονται δὲ ἡμέραι, καὶ ὅταν ἀπαρθῇ ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν ὁ νυμφίος τότε νηστεύσουσιν ἐν ἐκείναις ταῖς ἡμέραις. |
[35]Will come but the days when will be taken The Groom from them then they will fast in those days |
| [36]ἔλεγεν δὲ καὶ παραβολὴν πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὅτι οὐδεὶς ἐπίβλημα ἀπὸ ἱματίου καινοῦ σχίσας ἐπιβάλλει ἐπὶ ἱμάτιον παλαιόν· εἰ δὲ μή γε, καὶ τὸ καινὸν σχίσει καὶ τῶ παλαιῶ οὐ συμφωνήσει τὸ ἐπίβλημα τὸ ἀπὸ τοῦ καινοῦ. |
[36]And He told them a parable no man tears a strip from a garment new and places it on a garment worn lest the new he tear also the worn not resembles the strip that is from the new |
| [37]καὶ οὐδεὶς βάλλει οἶνον νέον εἰς ἀσκοὺς παλαιούς· εἰ δὲ μή γε, ῥήξει ὁ οἶνος ὁ νέος τοὺς ἀσκούς, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐκχυθήσεται καὶ οἱ ἀσκοὶ ἀπολοῦνται· |
[37]And no man places wine new in skins old and if but not bursts the wine new the skins and that wine is spilled and the skins are ruined |
| [38]ἀλλὰ οἶνον νέον εἰς ἀσκοὺς καινοὺς βλητέον. |
[38]But wine new in skins new is placed and both are preserved |
| [39][καὶ] οὐδεὶς πιὼν παλαιὸν θέλει νέον· λέγει γάρ, ὁ παλαιὸς χρηστός ἐστιν. |
[39]And no man drinks wine old and at once desires the new he says for the old is sweet |
