[2]And ful eerli in oon of the woke daies, thei camen to the sepulcre, whanne the sunne was risun. [2]AndG2532 veryG3029 early in the morningG4404 the firstG3391 day of the weekG4521, they cameG2064[G5736] untoG1909 the sepulchreG3419 at the risingG393[G5660] of the sunG2246.
[3]And thei seiden togidere, Who schal meue awey to vs the stoon fro the dore of the sepulcre? [3]AndG2532 they saidG3004[G5707] amongG4314 themselvesG1438, WhoG5101 shall rollG617 usG2254 awayG617[G5692] the stoneG3037 fromG1537 the doorG2374 of the sepulchreG3419?
[4]And thei bihelden, and seien the stoon walewid awei, for it was ful greet. [4]AndG2532 when they lookedG308[G5660], they sawG2334[G5719] thatG3754 the stoneG3037 was rolled awayG617[G5769]: forG1063 it wasG2258[G5713] veryG4970 greatG3173.
[5]And thei yeden in to the sepulcre, and sayn a yonglyng, hilide with a white stole, sittynge `at the riythalf; and thei weren afeerd. [5]AndG2532 enteringG1525[G5631] intoG1519 the sepulchreG3419, they sawG1492[G5627] a young manG3495 sittingG2521[G5740] onG1722 the right sideG1188, clothedG4016[G5772] in a long whiteG3022 garmentG4749; andG2532 they were affrightedG1568.[G5681]
[6]Which seith to hem, Nyle ye drede; ye seken Jhesu of Nazareth crucified; he is risun, he is not here; lo! the place where thei leiden hym. [6]AndG1161 he saithG3004[G5719] unto themG846, BeG1568 notG3361 affrightedG1568[G5744]: Ye seekG2212[G5719] JesusG2424 of NazarethG3479, whichG3588 was crucifiedG4717[G5772]: he is risenG1453[G5681]; he isG2076[G5748] notG3756 hereG5602: beholdG2396 the placeG5117 whereG3699 they laidG5087[G5656] himG846.
[7]But go ye, and seie ye to hise disciplis, and to Petir, that he schal go bifor you in to Galilee; there ye schulen se hym, as he seide to you. [7]ButG235 go your wayG5217[G5720], tellG2036[G5628] hisG846 disciplesG3101 andG2532 PeterG4074 thatG3754 he goeth beforeG4254[G5719] youG5209 intoG1519 GalileeG1056: thereG1563 shall ye seeG3700[G5695] himG846, asG2531 he saidG2036[G5627] unto youG5213.
[8]And thei yeden out, and fledden fro the sepulcre; for drede and quakyng had assailed hem, and to no man thei seiden ony thing, for thei dredden. [8]AndG2532 they went outG1831[G5631] quicklyG5035, and fledG5343[G5627] fromG575 the sepulchreG3419; forG1161 theyG846 trembledG2192[G5707][G5156] andG2532 were amazedG1611: neitherG2532 said theyG2036[G5627] any thingG3762 to anyG3762 man; forG1063 they were afraidG5399.[G5711]
[9]And Jhesus roos eerli the firste dai of the woke, and apperid firste to Marie Maudeleyne, fro whom he had caste out seuene deuelis. [9]NowG1161 when Jesus was risenG450[G5631] earlyG4404 the firstG4413 day of the weekG4521, he appearedG5316[G5648] firstG4412 to MaryG3137 MagdaleneG3094, out ofG575 whomG3739 he had castG1544[G5715] sevenG2033 devilsG1140.
[10]And sche yede, and tolde to hem that hadden ben with hym, whiche weren weilynge and wepynge. [10]And sheG1565 wentG4198[G5679] and toldG518[G5656] them that had beenG1096[G5637] withG3326 himG846, as they mournedG3996[G5723] andG2532 weptG2799.[G5723]
[11]And thei herynge that he lyuyde, and was seyn of hir, bileueden not. [11]And theyG2548, when they had heardG191[G5660] thatG3754 he was aliveG2198[G5719], andG2532 had been seenG2300[G5681] ofG5259 herG846, believed notG569.[G5656]
[12]But after these thingis whanne tweyne of hem wandriden, he was schewid in anothir liknesse to hem goynge in to a toun. [12]AfterG1161[G3326] thatG5023 he appearedG5319[G5681] inG1722 anotherG2087 formG3444 unto twoG1417 ofG1537 themG846, as they walkedG4043[G5723], and wentG4198[G5740] intoG1519 the countryG68.
[13]And thei yeden, and telden to the othir, and nether thei bileueden to hem. [13]And theyG2548 wentG565[G5631] and toldG518[G5656] it unto the residueG3062: neitherG3761 believed theyG4100[G5656] themG1565.
[14]But `at the laste, whanne the enleuene disciplis saten at the mete, Jhesus apperide to hem, and repreuede the vnbileue of hem, and the hardnesse of herte, for thei bileueden not to hem, that hadden seyn that he was risun fro deeth. [14]AfterwardG5305 he appearedG5319[G5681] unto the elevenG1733 as theyG846 sat at meatG345[G5740], andG2532 upbraidedG3679[G5656] them with theirG846 unbeliefG570 andG2532 hardness of heartG4641, becauseG3754 they believedG4100[G5656] notG3756 them which had seenG2300[G5666] himG846 after he was risenG1453.[G5772]
[15]And he seide to hem, Go ye in to al the world, and preche the gospel to eche creature. [15]AndG2532 he saidG2036[G5627] unto themG846, Go yeG4198[G5679] intoG1519 allG537 the worldG2889, and preachG2784[G5657] the gospelG2098 to everyG3956 creatureG2937.
[16]Who that bileueth, and is baptisid, schal be saaf; but he that bileueth not, schal be dampned. [16]He that believethG4100[G5660] andG2532 is baptizedG907[G5685] shall be savedG4982[G5701]; butG1161 he that believeth notG569[G5660] shall be damnedG2632.[G5701]
[17]And these tokenes schulen sue hem, that bileuen. In my name thei schulen caste out feendis; thei schulen speke with newe tungis; [17]AndG1161 theseG5023 signsG4592 shall followG3877[G5692] them that believeG4100[G5660]; InG1722 myG3450 nameG3686 shall they cast outG1544[G5692] devilsG1140; they shall speakG2980[G5692] with newG2537 tonguesG1100;
[18]thei schulen do awei serpentis; and if thei drynke ony venym, it schal not noye hem. Thei schulen sette her hondis on sijk men, and thei schulen wexe hoole. [18]They shall take upG142[G5692] serpentsG3789; and ifG2579 they drinkG4095[G5632] anyG5100 deadlyG2286 thingG5100, it shall notG3364 hurtG984[G5692] themG846; they shall layG2007[G5692] handsG5495 onG1909 the sickG732, andG2532 they shallG2192[G5692] recoverG2573.
[19]And the Lord Jhesu, aftir he hadde spokun to hem, was takun vp in to heuene, and he sittith on the riythalf of God. [19]SoG3303 thenG3767 afterG3326 the LordG2962 had spokenG2980[G5658] unto themG846, he was received upG353[G5681] intoG1519 heavenG3772, andG2532 satG2523[G5656] onG1537 the right handG1188 of GodG2316.
[20]And thei yeden forth, and prechiden euery where, for the Lord wrouyte with hem, and confermyde the word with signes folewynge. [20]AndG1161 theyG1565 went forthG1831[G5631], and preachedG2784[G5656] every whereG3837, the LordG2962 working withG4903[G5723] them, andG2532 confirmingG950[G5723] the wordG3056 withG1223 signsG4592 followingG1872[G5723]. AmenG281.
