| [1]אז קרא יש''ו לי''ב תלמידיו ויתן להם יכולת על כל רוח טומאה להוציא מהאדם ולרפאת כל חולי וכל נגע |
[1]And He called twelve His disciples and He gave to them authority over spirits filthy to cast them out and to heal every ailment and disease |
| [2]ואלה שמות י''ב השלוחים נקראו אפוֹסְט''וֹלוֹס סִימ''וֹן נקרא פֶייֶטְר''וֹס וְאַנְדְרֶ''יאָה אחיו |
[2]Their but of the twelve apostles names were these the first of them Shimeon which is called The Stone and Andraus his brother and Yaqob son of Zebedee and Yohanan his brother |
| [3]פִילִיפ''וֹס וּבוֹרְטוֹלָאמֵיאוֹס יעקב נקרא גאי''מי ויוחנן אחיו בני זבדיאל טוֹמָאִ''ס ומתתיה הוא מָאטִ''יאוֹ מלוה בריבית בפרסום ויעקב אַלוּפֶיאֶי וְטְרֶיא''וֹס |
[3]And Phillipus and Bar-Tolmay and Thoma and Mattai the tax collector and Yaqob son of Halphi and Lebai who was called Thadi |
| [4]שמעון כנעני לעז סִימ''וֹן קַאנַא''נָאיוֹס וְיוּדָ''א אַסְקָארְ''יוֹטָה אשר אחר זה מסרהו |
[4]And Shimeon the Zealot and Yehuda Skariota he who betrayed Him |
| [5]אלה שנים עשר שלח יש''ו ויצו אליהם לאמר בארצות הגוים אל תלכו ובערי השמרונים אל תבואו |
[5]These twelve sent Ieshu and He commanded them and He said by a road of the heathen not you shall go and to a city of the Samaritans not you shall enter |
| [6]לכו לצאן אשר נדחו מבית ישראל |
[6]Go you but especially to the sheep that have been lost from the house of Israel |
| [7]ובשרו להם שתתקיים מלכות שמים |
[7]And when are going you preach and say that has come near the Kingdom of Heaven |
| [8]רפאו החולים והחיו המתים והנה טהרתם המצורעים והוציאו השדים מבני אדם ואל תקבלו שכר חנם קבלתם ובחנם תתנו |
[8]The sick heal and the lepers purify and demons cast out freely you have received freely give |
| [9]אל תצברו כסף וזהב ולא ממון בכיסכם |
[9]Not you shall retain gold neither silver nor copper in your money bags |
| [10]ולא חליפות שמלות ולא מנעלים ולא מקל בידכם ראוי הפועל לקבל די אכילתו |
[10]Neither scrip for the way nor two coats neither shoes nor a staff worthy is for a laborer of his provisions |
| [11]ובכל עיר ובכל מגדל אשר תבואו מי האיש הטוב שבתוכם ושם תנוחו עד שתצאו |
[11]To whichever but city or village enter you it ask who is? worthy in it and there stay until leave you |
| [12]ובבואכם אל הבית תנו להם שלום לאמר שלום בזאת הבית שלום לכל היושבים בתוכה |
[12]And when enter you a household invoke the peace of the househould |
| [13]ואם תהיה הבית ההיא ראויה תבא שלומכם עליה ואם לא תהיה ראויה תשוב שלומכם לכם |
[13]And if that is worthy household your blessing of peace will come upon it if but not it is worthy your blessing of peace unto you will return |
| [14]ואשר לא יקבל אתכם ואשר לא ישמע אליכם תצאו מן הבית ההיא והעתקם רגליכם מן העפר |
[14]Whoever not but does receive you neither listens to your words when depart you from the house or from village that shake the sand from your feet |
| [15]אמן אני דובר אליכם יותר טוב יהיה אל סדום ואל עמורה ביום ההוא מן העיר ההיא |
[15]And truly say I to you for land that of Sadom and of Ammora it will be tranquil in the day of judgment rather than for city that |
| [16]הנני שולח אתכם כצאן בין הזאבים תהיו ערומים כנחשים ועניים כיונים |
[16]Behold I sending am you as lambs among wolves be therefore crafty as snakes and innocent as doves |
| [17]הזהרו בבני אדם לא ימסרו אתכם בקהלותם ובבתי כנסיותם |
[17]Be on guard but from the children of men they will deliver you for to the house of judgment and in their assemblies they will scourge you |
| [18]ולְפָחוֹת וְלַמְלָכִים תוכלון בעדי להעיד להם ולגוים |
[18]And before governors and kings they will bring you for My sake for testimony their and that of the nations |
| [19]כאשר יתפשו אתכם אם תחשבו מה שתאמרו שבשעה שתצטרכו יבא לכם מענה |
[19]When but they arrest you not you shall be anxious how? or what? you will speak it will be given to you for in that hour whatever you should speak |
| [20]אינכם המדברים כי אם רוח קדשו של אבי הוא הדובר בכם |
[20]Not it will be for you speaking but The Spirit of your Father speaking in you |
| [21]ימסור האח את אחיו למות והאב לבנו ויקומו הבנים על האבות ויובילו אותם עד למות |
[21]Will deliver but brother his brother to death and father his son and will rise children against their parents and they will put to death them |
| [22]ותהיו ללעג וזעוה לכל העמים על שמי אכן מי שיסבול עד עת קץ יושע |
[22]And you will be hated of everyman because of My Name whoever but will endure until the end he will be saved |
| [23]עוד אמר יש''ו לתלמידיו כאשר ירדפו אתכם בעיר הזאת ברחו לאחרת אמן אני אומר לכם לא תשלימו לכם ערי ישראל עד כי יבא בן אדם |
[23]When they persecute you but in city this flee you to another truly for say I to you that not you will have finished these all cities of the house of Israel until will come The Son of Man |
| [24]אין תלמיד גדול מרבו ולא העבד גדול מאדוניו |
[24]There is not a disciple greater than his master neither a servant than his lord |
| [25]די לתלמיד להיות כרבו ולעבד כאדוניו אם לבעל הבית יקראו בעל זבוב כ''ש לבני ביתו |
[25]It is enough for him for a disciple that he would be like his master and for a servant like his lord if the lord of the house they have called Beelzebub more how much? the children of his household |
| [26]אל תראו מהם שאין דבר שלא יראה ולא נעלם |
[26]Not therefore you shall be afraid of them there is not for anything covered that not will be revealed and hidden that not will be known |
| [27]אני אומר לכם בחשך אמרו אותו באור |
[27]Whatever tell I to you in the darkness say it you in the light and anything that with your ears hear you preach on the rooftops |
| [28]ואל תפחדו מהורגי שאין בידם להרוג הנפשות רק פחדו לאשר יכולת בידו לאבד הנפש והגוף בגהינם |
[28]And not you shall be afraid of those who kill the body the soul but not are able to kill be afraid but rather of Him which can what is soulish and the body destroy in Gehenna |
| [29]הלא שני צפורים אבדו בפרוטה אחת ולא תפול אחת מהם על הארץ כי אם ברצון אביכם שבשמים? |
[29]Not two sparrows are sold for a penny and one of them apart from your Father not falls on the ground |
| [30]הלא שערות ראשיכם כלם ספורים |
[30]Your but also hairs of your head all numbered are |
| [31]אל תראו שטובים מצפורים אדם |
[31]Not therefore you shall be afraid than sparrows many are greater you |
| [32]המשבח אותי בפני אדם אשבחבנו לפני אבי שבשמים |
[32]Everyone therefore who will confess Me before children of men I shall confess him also I before My Father Who is in Heaven |
| [33](ואשר יכחש בי לפני בני אדם אכחש בו לפני אבי שבשמים) |
[33]Whoever but will deny Me before children of men I shall deny him also I before My Father in Heaven |
| [34]באותה שעה אמר יש''ו לתלמידיו אל תחשבו שבאתי לשים בארץ אלא חרב |
[34]Not think that I have come to bring peace in the earth not I have come to bring peace but a sword |
| [35]באתי להפריד האדם הבן מאביו והבת מאמה |
[35]I have come for to divide a man against his father and a daughter against her mother and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law |
| [36]והאויבים להיות אהובים |
[36]And the enemies of a man will be the children of his household |
| [37]האוהב אביו ואמו יותר ממני איני ראוי לו |
[37]Whoever loves father or mother more than Me not is worthy to Me and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me not is worthy to Me |
| [38]And everyone who does not take his cross and come after Me not is worthy to Me |
| [39]האוהב את נפשו יאבדיה האובד אותי בשבילי ימצאנה |
[39]And whoever will lose his life-himself for My sake will find it whoever will find his life-himself will lose it |
| [40]המקבל אתכם יקבל אותי והמקבל אותי יקבל את אשר שלחני |
[40]Whoever receives you Me receives and whoever Me receives Him Who sent Me receives |
| [41]המקבל נביא לשם נביא יקבל שכר הנביא והמקבל צדיק לשם צדיק יקבל שכר הצדיק |
[41]Whoever receives a prophet in the name of The Prophet a reward of The Prophet receives and whoever receives a righteous one in the Name of The Righteous One a reward of The Righteous One receives |
| [42]והנותן כלי א'' של מים קרים לאחד מתלמידי הקטנים לשם תלמידי אמן אני אומר לכם שלא יאבד שכרו |
[42]And everyone who gives a drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water alone in the name of a disciple amen say I to you that not he will lose his reward |
