[1]In that but day went out Ieshu from the house and He sat down by the side of the sea [1]The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the seaside.
[2]And they were assembled unto him the crowds great so that He embarked seating Himself in a ship and all the crowds standing were on the beach by the sea [2]And great multitudes resorted unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat down: and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
[3]And much speaking He was with them in parables and He said behold went out a sower to sow [3]Then he spake many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow.
[4]And as he sowed some fell on the side the road and came a bird and ate it [4]And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up.
[5]And others fell on the rock where there not was soil much and son of an hour it sprouted because there not was depth of soil [5]And some fell upon stony ground, where they had not much earth, and soon they sprung up, because they had no depth of earth.
[6]When arose but the sun it became hot and because there not was to it roots it withered [6]And when the sun rose up, they were parched, and for lack of rooting, withered away.
[7]And others fell among the thorns and they came up the thorns and they choked it [7]And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up, and choked them.
[8]And others fell in the ground good and it yielded fruit some of a hundred and some of sixty and some of thirty [8]Some again fell in good ground, and brought forth fruit, one corn an hundred fold, some sixty fold, and another thirty fold.
[9]Whoever is to him an ear that hears let him hear [9]He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
[10]And approached His disciples and they were saying to Him why? in parables speaking are you with them [10]Then the disciples came, and said to him, Why speakest thou to them in parables?
[11]He but answered and said to them to you it has been given to know the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven to them but not it has been given [11]And he answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you, to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
[12]To the one for that has it will be given it and will increase it [12]For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away, even that he hath.
[13]And to the one that has not it even that which has he will be taken from him because of this in parables speaking I am with them because they who see also not are seeing and those hearing neither hear nor understand [13]Therefore speak I to them in parables, because they seeing, do not see: and hearing, they hear not, neither understand.
[14]And is fulfilled in them the prophecy of Isaiah that says hearing you will hear and not you will understand and seeing you will see and not you will know [14]So in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which prophecy saith, By hearing, ye shall hear, and shall not understand, and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive.
[15]Has become dense it for the heart of people this and with their ears hardly they have heard and their eyes they have shut lest they would see with their eyes and they would hear with their ears and they would understand in their hearts and they would be converted and I would heal them [15]For this peoples heart is waxed fat, and their ears are dull of hearing, and with their eyes they have winked, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their hearts, and should return, that I might heal them.
[16]Your but blessings to your eyes for they are seeing and to your ears for they are hearing [16]But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
[17]Amen for I say to you that many prophets and righteous ones have yearned to see the things that seeing you are and not they saw and to hear the things that hearing you are and not they heard [17]For verily I say unto you, that many Prophets, and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them, and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
[18]You but hear the parable of the seed [18]Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
[19]Everyone who hears the word of the Kingdom and not understands into him comes The Evil One and snatches the word that was sown in his heart this is that which upon the side the road was sown [19]Whensoever a man heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, the evil one cometh, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart: and this is he which hath received the seed by the way side.
[20]That but which upon the rock was sown is the one who hears the word and son of a moment in joy he receives it [20]And he that received seed in the stony ground, is he which heareth the word, and incontinently with joy receiveth it,
[21]There are not for him but roots in him but temporal he is and when there is distress or persecution because of the word immediately he falls apart [21]Yet hath he no root in himself, and endureth but a season: for as soon as tribulation or persecution cometh because of the word, by and by he is offended.
[22]That ? which among the thorns was sown is the one who hears the word and the cares of world this and the deception of wealth choke it the word and without fruit that one is [22]And he that receiveth the seed among thorns, is he that heareth the word: but the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he is made unfruitful.
[23]That but which upon the ground good was sown is he who hears My word and understands and he yields fruit and produces some of a hundred and some of sixty and some of thirty [23]But he that receiveth the seed in the good ground, is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundred fold, some sixty fold, and some thirty fold.
[24]Another the parable He parabled to them and He said that is likened the Kingdom of Heaven to the man who sowed the seed good in his field [24]Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a man which sowed good seed in his field.
[25]And when slept men came his enemy and sowed tares among the wheat and he left [25]But while men slept, there came his enemy, and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
[26]When but sprouted the grass it produced fruit then appeared also the tares [26]And when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
[27]And approached his servants of the lord of the house and they said to him our lord not? behold seed good did you sow in your field from where? are in it tares [27]Then came the servants of the householder, and said unto him, Master, sowest not thou good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
[28]He but said to them a man an enemy has done this were saying to him his servants want? do you us to go to select out them [28]And he said to them, The envious man hath done this. Then the servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
[29]He but said to them is it not? when collect you the tares you would uproot with them also the wheat [29]But he said, Nay, lest while ye go about to gather the tares, ye pluck up also with them the wheat.
[30]Let grow both as one until harvest and in the time of harvest shall say I to the reapers select out first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn the wheat but gather them to my granary [30]Let both grow together until the harvest, and in time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye first the tares, and bind them in sheaves to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
[31]Another parable He parabled to them and said is likened the Kingdom of Heaven to a grain of Mustard seed that had taken a man sowing it in his field [31]Another parable he put forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man taketh and soweth in his field:
[32]And this smallest is of all seeds whenever but it has grown greatest it is of all small herbs and becomes a tree so that may come a bird of the sky settle in its branches [32]Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and it is a tree, so that the birds of heaven come and build in the branches thereof.
[33]Another parable He told them is likened the Kingdom of Heaven to yeast that which took a woman and hid in three measures of meal until all of it had fermented [33]Another parable spake he to them, The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman taketh and hideth in three pecks of meal, till all be leavened.
[34]These things all spoke Ieshu in parables to the crowds and without a parable not speaking he was with them [34]All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables, and without parables spake he not to them,
[35]So that should be fulfilled the thing that was spoken by the prophet that says I shall open my mouth in parables and I shall declare things hidden from before the foundation of the world [35]That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the Prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables, and will utter the things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
[36]Then Ieshu left the crowds and came to the house and they came to him His disciples and they were saying to Him explain to us parable that of the tares and the field [36]Then sent Jesus the multitude away, and went into the house. And his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
[37]He but answered and said to them he who sowed the seed good is the Son of Man [37]Then answered he, and said to them, He that soweth the good seed, is the Son of man.
[38]And the field is the world the seed but good the children are of the Kingdom the tares but are the children of The Evil One [38]And the field is the world, and the good seed, they are the children of the kingdom, and the tares are the children of the wicked,
[39]The enemy moreover who sowed them is Satan the harvest but is the end of the world the reapers and the angels [39]And the enemy that soweth them, is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the world, and the reapers be the Angels.
[40]Just as therefore are gathered the tares and burn in the fire thus it will be in the end of world this [40]As then the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so shall it be in the end of this world.
[41]Will send The Son of Man His angels and they will select from His Kingdom all of those stumbling blocks and all those doers of evil [41]The Son of man shall send forth his Angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity,
[42]And they will cast them into the essence of fire there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth [42]And shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
[43]Then the righteous will shine as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father whoever has to him an ear that will hear let him hear [43]Then shall the just men shine as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
[44]Again is likened the Kingdom of Heaven to treasure that was hidden in a field which found a man and hid and from his joy he went selling everything that is to him and he bought field that [44]Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hid in the field, which when a man hath found, he hideth it, and for joy thereof departeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
[45]Again is likened the Kingdom of Heaven to the man a merchant who searching for was pearls precious [45]Again the kingdom of heaven is like to a merchant man, that seeketh good pearls,
[46]When but he found pearl a certain was valuable obviously he went selling everything whatsoever that is to him and bought it [46]Who having found a pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
[47]Again is like the Kingdom of Heaven a net that was cast into the sea and from every kind it collected [47]Again the kingdom of heaven is like unto a drawnet cast into the sea, that gathereth of all kinds of things.
[48]And when it was full they brought it up to the shore of the sea and they sat and selected out and the good they placed in vessels and the bad they threw out [48]Which, when it is full, men draw to land, and sit and gather the good into vessels, and cast the bad away.
[49]Thus it will be in the end of the world will go forth the angels and they will separate the wicked from among the righteous [49]So shall it be at the end of the world. The Angels shall go forth, and sever the bad from among the just,
[50]And they will cast them into the essence of fire there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth [50]And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing, and gnashing of teeth.
[51]Said to them Ieshu have you understood? all these things they were saying to Him yes our Lord [51]Jesus said unto them, Understand ye all these things? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
[52]He said to them because of this every scribe who is instructed for the kingdom of Heaven is like the man the lord of the house who brings from his treasure new things and old things [52]Then said he unto them, Therefore every Scribe which is taught unto the kingdom of heaven, is like unto an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things both new and old.
[53]And it was that when had finished Ieshu parables these He departed from there [53]And it came to pass, that when Jesus had ended these parables, he departed thence,
[54]And He came to His city and taught He them in their synagogues so that they would marvel and they would say from where? to Him This One wisdom this and the miracles [54]And came into his own country, and taught them in their Synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, Whence cometh this wisdom and great works unto this man?
[55]Not? is This the son of the carpenter not? His mother is called Maryam and His brothers Yaqob and Yose and Shimeon and Yehuda [55]Is not this the carpenters son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brethren James and Joseph, and Simon and Judas?
[56]And His sisters all not? behold with us they are from where? to Him therefore to This One these things all [56]And are not his sisters all with us? Whence then hath he all these things?
[57]And offended they were by Him He but Ieshu said to them there is not a prophet who is despised except in his city and in his home [57]And they were offended with him. Then Jesus said to them, A Prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house.
[58]And not He did there miracles many because of dis- their trust [58]And he did not many great works there, for their unbeliefs sake.
