KJV+
[1]And Y seide, Ye princis of Jacob, and duykis of the hous of Israel, here. Whether it be not youre for to knowe doom, whiche haten good, [1]And I saidH559[H8799], HearH8085[H8798], I pray you, O headsH7218 of JacobH3290, and ye princesH7101 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478; Is it not for you to knowH3045[H8800] judgmentH4941?
[2]and louen yuele? Whiche violentli taken awei the skynnes of hem fro aboue hem, and the fleisch of hem fro aboue the bonys of hem. [2]Who hateH8130[H8802] the goodH2896, and loveH157[H8802] the evilH7451; who pluck offH1497[H8802] their skinH5785 from off them, and their fleshH7607 from off their bonesH6106;
[3]Whiche eeten the fleisch of my puple, and hiliden the skyn of hem fro aboue; and broken togidere the boonys of hem, and kittiden togidere as in a cawdroun, and as fleisch in the myddil of a pot. [3]Who also eatH398[H8804] the fleshH7607 of my peopleH5971, and flayH6584[H8689] their skinH5785 from off them; and they breakH6476[H8765] their bonesH6106, and chop them in piecesH6566[H8804], as for the potH5518, and as fleshH1320 withinH8432 the caldronH7037.
[4]Thanne thei schulen crie to the Lord, and he schal not here hem; and he schal hide hise face fro hem in that tyme, as thei diden wickidli in her fyndingis. [4]Then shall they cryH2199[H8799] unto the LORDH3068, but he will not hearH6030[H8799] them: he will even hideH5641[H8686] his faceH6440 from them at that timeH6256, as they have behaved themselves illH7489[H8689] in their doingsH4611.
[5]The Lord God seith these thingis on the profetis that disseyuen my puple, and biten with her teeth, and prechen pees; and if ony man yyueth not in the mouth of hem ony thing, thei halewen batel on hym. [5]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068 concerning the prophetsH5030 that make my peopleH5971 errH8582[H8688], that biteH5391[H8802] with their teethH8127, and cryH7121[H8804], PeaceH7965; and he that puttethH5414[H8799] not into their mouthsH6310, they even prepareH6942[H8765] war against himH4421.
[6]Therfor niyt schal be to you for visioun, or profesie, and derknessis to you for dyuynacioun; and sunne schal go doun on the profetis, and the dai schal be maad derk on hem. [6]Therefore nightH3915 shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a visionH2377; and it shall be darkH2821[H8675][H2821][H8804] unto you, that ye shall not divineH7080[H8800]; and the sunH8121 shall go downH935[H8804] over the prophetsH5030, and the dayH3117 shall be darkH6937 over themH8804.
[7]And thei schulen be confoundid that seen visiouns, and dyuynours schulen be confoundid, and alle schulen hile her cheris, for it is not the answer of God. [7]Then shall the seersH2374 be ashamedH954[H8804], and the divinersH7080[H8802] confoundedH2659[H8804]: yea, they shall all coverH5844[H8804] their lipsH8222; for there is no answerH4617 of GodH430.
[8]Netheles Y am fillid with strengthe of Spirit of the Lord, and in doom and vertu, that Y schewe to Jacob his greet trespas, and to Israel his synne. [8]But trulyH199 I am fullH4390[H8804] of powerH3581 by the spiritH7307 of the LORDH3068, and of judgmentH4941, and of mightH1369, to declareH5046[H8687] unto JacobH3290 his transgressionH6588, and to IsraelH3478 his sinH2403.
[9]Here these thingis, ye princes of the hous of Jacob, and domesmen of the hous of Israel, whiche wlaten dom, and peruerten alle riyt thingis; [9]HearH8085[H8798] this, I pray you, ye headsH7218 of the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and princesH7101 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, that abhorH8581[H8764] judgmentH4941, and pervertH6140[H8762] all equityH3477.
[10]whiche bilden Sion in bloodis, and Jerusalem in wickidnesse. [10]They build upH1129[H8802] ZionH6726 with bloodH1818, and JerusalemH3389 with iniquityH5766.
[11]Princes therof demyden for yiftis, and prestis therof tauyten for hire, and profetis therof dyuyneden for money; and on the Lord thei restiden, and seiden, Whether the Lord is not in the myddil of us? yuelis schulen not come on vs. [11]The headsH7218 thereof judgeH8199[H8799] for rewardH7810, and the priestsH3548 thereof teachH3384[H8686] for hireH4242, and the prophetsH5030 thereof divineH7080[H8799] for moneyH3701: yet will they leanH8172[H8735] upon the LORDH3068, and sayH559[H8800], Is not the LORDH3068 amongH7130 us? none evilH7451 can comeH935 upon usH8799.
[12]For this thing bi cause of you, Sion as a feeld schal be erid; and Jerusalem schal be as an heep of stoonys, and the hil of the temple schal be in to hiye thingis of woodis. [12]Therefore shall ZionH6726 for your sakeH1558 be plowedH2790[H8735] as a fieldH7704, and JerusalemH3389 shall become heapsH5856, and the mountainH2022 of the houseH1004 as the high placesH1116 of the forestH3293.
