[1]And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying [1]And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
[2]Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them: Whe either man or woman doth seperate them selues to vowe a vowe of a Nazarite, to seperate them selues vnto the Lorde [2]Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man or a woman doth separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite to separate himself unto the Lord,
[3]He shall seperate him selfe from wine and strong drynke, and shall drynke no vineger of wine or of strong drinke, nor shall drinke whatsoeuer is pressed out of grapes, and shall eate no freshe grapes, neither yet dried [3]He shall abstain from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no sour wine nor sour drink, nor shall drink any liquor of grapes, neither shall eat fresh grapes nor dried.
[4]As long as his abstinence endureth, shall he eate nothyng that is made of the vine tree, or of the cornels, or of the huske of the grape [4]As long as his abstinence endureth, shall he eat nothing that is made of the wine of the vine, neither the kernels, nor the husk.
[5]And as long as he voweth and is seperated, there shall not rasure come vpon his head, vntyll his dayes be out in the which he seperateth hym selfe vnto the Lorde, he shalbe holy, and shall let the lockes of his heere growe [5]While he is separate by his vow, the razor shall not come upon his head, until the days be out, in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
[6]As long as he seperateth hym selfe vnto the Lorde, he shall come at no dead body [6]During the time that he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall come at no dead body:
[7]He shall not make hym selfe vncleane at the death of his father, mother, brother, or sister: because that the consecration of his God is vpon his head [7]He shall not make himself unclean at the death of his father, or mother, brother, or sister: for the consecration of his God is upon his head.
[8]All the dayes of his seperation, he is holy vnto the Lorde [8]All the days of his separation he shall be holy to the Lord.
[9]And if any man dye sodenly before him, or he be ware, the head of his consecration shalbe defiled: and he shall shaue his head the day of his cleansyng, euen the seuenth day shall he shaue it [9]And if any die suddenly by him, or he beware, then the head of his consecration shall be defiled, and he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing: in the seventh day he shall shave it.
[10]And the eyght day he shall bryng two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, before the doore of the tabernacle of the congregation [10]And in the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons to the priest, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
[11]And the priest shall offer the one for a sinne offeryng, and the other for a burnt offeryng: and make an attonement for hym as concernyng that he sinned by the dead, and shall halowe his head the same day [11]Then the priest shall prepare the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and shall make an atonement for him, because he sinned by the dead: so shall he hallow his head the same day,
[12]And he shall consecrate vnto the Lord the tyme of his seperation, & shall bring a lambe of a yere olde for a trespasse offeryng: but the dayes that were before are lost, because his consecration was defiled [12]And he shall consecrate unto the Lord the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of a year old for a trespass offering, and the first days shall be void: for his consecration was defiled.
[13]This is the lawe of the Nazarite: when the tyme of his consecration is out, he shalbe brought vnto the doore of the tabernacle of the congregation [13]This then is the law of the Nazarite: When the time of his consecration is out, he shall come to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
[14]And he shall bryng his offeryng vnto the Lorde, an hee lambe of a yere olde without blemishe for a burnt offeryng, and a shee lambe of a yere olde without blemishe for a sinne offering, & a ramme without blemishe also for peace offerynges [14]And he shall bring his offering unto the Lord, an he lamb of a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, and a she lamb of a year old without blemish for a sin offering, and a ram without blemish for peace offerings,
[15]And a basket of vnleauened bread, euen cakes of fine floure mingled with oyle, and wafers of vnleauened bread annoynted with oyle, with their meate offerynges and drynke offerynges [15]And a basket of unleavened bread, of cakes of fine flour, mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings:
[16]And the priest shall bryng them before the Lorde, and offer his sinne offeryng and his burnt offeryng [16]The which the priest shall bring before the Lord, and make his sin offering and his burnt offering.
[17]And shall prepare the ramme for a peace offering vnto the Lorde, with the basket of vnleauened bread: and the priest shall make also his meat offeryng and his drynke offeryng [17]He shall prepare also the ram for a peace offering unto the Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread, and the priest shall make his meat offering, and his drink offering.
[18]And the Nazarite shal shaue the head of his consecration at the doore of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shal take the heere of the head of his consecration, and put it in the fire which is vnder the peace offeryng [18]And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his consecration at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his consecration, and put it in the fire, which is under the peace offering.
[19]And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ramme, and one vnleauened cake out of the basket, and one vnleauened wafer also, and put them vpon the handes of the Nazarite, after he hath shauen his consecration [19]Then the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and an unleavened cake out of the basket, and a wafer unleavened, and put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shaven his consecration.
[20]And the priest shall waue them before the Lorde: And these holy thynges shalbe the priestes, with the waue brest and the heaue shoulder: and then the Nazarite may drynke wine [20]And the priest shall shake them to and from before the Lord: this is an holy thing for the priest besides the shaken breast, and besides the heave shoulder: so afterward the Nazarite may drink wine.
[21]This is the lawe of the Nazarite which hath vowed his offeryng vnto the Lorde for his consecration, besides those thynges that his hande can get: according to the vowe which he vowed, euen so he must do after the lawe of his consecration [21]This is the Law of the Nazarite, which he hath vowed, and of his offering unto the Lord for his consecration, besides that that he is able to bring: according to the vow which he vowed, so shall he do after the law of his consecration.
[22]And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying [22]And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
[23]Speake vnto Aaron and his sonnes, saying: On this wyse ye shall blesse the chyldren of Israel, and say vnto them [23]Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, Thus shall ye bless the children of Israel, and say unto them,
[24]The Lorde blesse thee, and kepe thee [24]The Lord bless thee, and keep thee,
[25]The Lorde make his face shine vpon thee, and be mercyfull vnto thee [25]The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be merciful unto thee,
[26]The Lorde lyft vp his countenaunce vpon thee, and geue thee peace [26]The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
[27]And they shall put my name vpon the chyldren of Israel, and I wyll blesse them [27]So they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
